Incinerator Slot Game Review

Welcome to Junk Planet DS41, where the galaxy’s trash is sent to be disposed of by the Incinerator!

Only Yggdrasil could come up with a futuristic slot set on a waste disposal planet where space junk gets burned up.

It is certainly a departure from slots set in Ancient Egypt or featuring dancing Leprechauns.

Let’s find out whether this spaced-out game should be trashed or not.

Space-Aged Garbage

The 5 x 3 layout is pretty standard, but there is a separate grid to the left of the reels called the Wild Pattern which makes it look a little different. More of that below. The reels featurejust 6 different base symbols, which means that this is a low variance game.

In other words, lots of small pay-outs can be expected here. The symbols are made up of the kind of things you might expect to fall off a spaceship, hence the fact they are destined for theincinerator.

The backdrop is the internal depths of some space-aged incineration plant, and mighty impressive it looks too.

Cascading Reels

This 20 pay-line game pays out from left to right only, when three or more symbols match. The Wild symbol replaces all other images, and there is no scatter symbol in the Incinerator game.Instead, this is where the afore-mentioned Wild Pattern comes in.

Before each spin you will see a pattern form on the Wild Pattern flaming grid. If you get a winning line, the symbols disappeared and new symbols drop from above. Basically, the same CascadingReels feature familiar to fans of Gonzo’s Quest. If you are fortunate enough to get three consecutive wins then the Wild Pattern is activated.

Going Wild

To give a concrete example, imagine the Wild Pattern was four squares on the bottom left of the reels. If you get three consecutive wins on the main reels, then this become active. What thismeans is that now the four squares on the main reel change into Wild symbols.

Now the Wild Pattern changes to a new configuration, and if you are able to get three more consecutive wins you can activate this new pattern as well. Unfortunately, the (guaranteed) win you willget from the first activated Wild Pattern doesn’t count towards your next three wins.

The second Wild Pattern which will appear will always give a better chance of winning that the first one. The first patter will have 4 or 5 wilds in a pattern, but the second will have 5 to 9(with the 5 wilds being a straight 5 symbol line through the centre of the reels).

Burning Hot

Despite its unusual subject matter, Yggdrasil have come up with another winner with the Incinerator slot. Once again, they have created an innovative game, with the usual excellent visual andaudio effects.

The absence of a bonus game will disappoint some, but they will soon grow to appreciate the Wild Pattern feature. This game should definitely not be sent to the great slot game incinerator in thesky, as it is one which can be enjoyed for a long time.
