Best Online Gambling Sites for New Hampshire Residents

reviews

Ignition Casino Best Overall New Hampshire Online Gambling Site

What’s not to love about Ignition Casino? From slots to a poker room, from live dealer tables to a full-scale sportsbook, this site has all the gamble New Hampshirites could want.

Ignition hosts more than 300 slots from top developers like Rival and Qora, with plenty of hot-drop and progressive jackpot action. Every table game you can imagine is available—25 in all—from blackjack and roulette to craps, baccarat, and pai gow poker. They even offer andar bahar and teen patti.

When you’re ready for some live dealer action, Ignition Casino has 43 games streamed from the studios of Visionary iGaming. Along with the sociability of live dealer games, you’ll find multiple flavors of blackjack, roulette (single and double zero), baccarat, and super 6.

Speaking of dealing, Ignition Casino has partnered with the PaiWangLuo poker network to deal cash games of Texas hold’em, Omaha, and Omaha hi-lo, at stakes from $.02/$/05 to $2.50/$5.

Whether you’re in the mood to try for that progressive jackpot, go all-in at a hold’em sit & go, or double down on tens at a live dealer blackjack table, Ignition Casino will call that bet.

EveryGame Best NH Online Casino

Everygame has been a player in the internet gambling game since 1996. The site has something for every New Hampshire gambler, from slots to video poker, keno to live dealer tables.

With more than 200 RealTime Gaming slots—and more added every month—Everygame has plenty of one-armed bandit action to spare. It actually features two casinos—Casino Red and Casino Classic. My recommendation is to try out Casino Classic first, since it allows for free demo play of all the slots before you risk real money.

If table games are where you get your bet on, Everygame has nine games, including baccarat, let ‘em ride poker, three versions of blackjack, as well as Caribbean stud poker, Caribbean draw poker, and Caribbean hold’em poker.

Speaking of poker, the site has 15 versions of video poker available, from double double bonus poker to loose deuces and sevens wild.

If you like the excitement of vying for hot-drop and progressive jackpots, think of Everygame as YourGame. Here’s a sample (including jackpots when I visited recently): Jackpot Cleopatra’s Gold ($164k), Megasaur (over $1 million), and Aztec’s Millions ($1.3 million).

Whenever the need arises to immerse yourself in the hubbub of the casino floor, think Everygame.

Bovada Best Sports Betting Site for New Hampshire Residents

Bovada is regularly featured as the best sports betting site here at GS. The reason for that is simple: 20,000 betting markets to choose from, with odds on every sport imaginable, and multiple bets and parlays for virtually every one of them.

Find the right price for all your sports bets on collegiate and professional sports, including NCAA, NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, and even horseracing. Want to bet on the UNH Wildcats game versus the Maine Black Bears? Bovada has your numbers.

International sports don’t take a back seat at Bovada. You’ll find all the soccer leagues, as well as Aussie rules football, cricket, and rugby. They even feature esports and virtual sports, along with opportunities to wager on badminton playoffs and darts championships.

With features like live betting, prop builders, and copious tips and statistics for every player and every game, it’s easy to see why Bovada is a regular “Best” in the sports betting category.

SportsBetting.ag Best NH Poker Site

Sure, SportsBetting.ag has a sportsbook. But were you aware that it also has a robust poker room with plenty of competition at all your favorite games?

Try your hand at cash games of NL hold’em at blinds from nickel/dime to $5/$10. Or go for a few rounds of your favorite flavor of PL Omaha at the same blinds. SportsBetting features straddle and boost versions of all games, as well. New Hampshirites can even choose between playing for free or for real money.

And cash games aren’t all that’s dealing at SportsBetting. The site hosts regular tournaments, as well as plenty of sit & goes. And SportsBetting offers some great extras like progressive bad beat jackpots that can add up to tens of thousands of dollars.

There are more than 700 New Hampshirites on the top poker player lists—including Spofford’s Dan Chalifour, Rye’s Michael Drummond, and Hudson’s James Guinther. You may not meet them all at a SportsBetting poker table, but you just might hone your skills there enough to join them on those lists.

SlotsandCasino Best Jackpot Site for New Hampshirites

Most casinos have a smattering of progressive jackpot slots in their inventory, but SlotsandCasino has nearly 40 slots brimming with progressive cash and waiting for some lucky New Hampshirite to hit that spin button.

Try your hand at well-known favorites from Rival, BetSoft, Qora Gaming, and Arrow’s Edge. Here are a few favorites with randomly awarded progressives (jackpot amounts are from my recent visit:

  • Secret Life of Cats (mini and mega progressives, $1400, $12,500)
  • A Night with Cleo (progressive jackpot, $153,000)
  • Pixiu (mini, major, and mega progressive jackpots, $1400, $4500, $12,500, respectively)
  • Cyberpunk City (progressive jackpot, $38,000)

With that kind of cash in the crosshairs, you’ll be happy to spend some quality time with SlotsandCasino.

DuckyLuck Casino Best NH Bonus Site

To mangle a slogan from Sarah Lee, nobody doesn’t like bonuses. DuckyLuck Casino understands this, and offers plenty of them to encourage New Hampshire gamblers to place a bet, spin the wheels, and watch the magic happen.

The site welcomes new players with a bonus of 500% up to $2500, with a minimum deposit of $25. And that’s just regular deposits; DuckyLuck also features a crypto welcome bonus of 600% up to $3000.

Even after you’ve become a regular visitor, the bonuses just keep coming. DuckyLuck has reload bonuses matching between 50% and 80% of your deposits; there’s even a monthly “MegaBonus” matching between 290%-395% of your deposit.

Acceptable deposit methods are credit cards, bank transfers, and a wide range of cryptocurrencies and e-wallets. Incidentally, crypto deposits qualify for the most generous bonuses, especially if you sign up for DuckyLuck’s Crypto Elite program.

Slots.lv Best New Hampshire Table Games Site

Slots.lv has a lot going for it as far as online casinos go, but one of its most impressive features is its selection of table games. Whether you like the simplicity of the single player milieu or you want to hone your skills for real-life gambling challenges, you’ll find what you’re looking for at Slots.lv.

With 27 different table games to choose from, Slot.lv offers many variations of your favorite games. Go with everybody’s favorite, blackjack (eight versions), or try your hand at teen patti (two versions). Like roulette? Have a spin with your choice of American (00), European (0), or French (la partage) wheels.

Slots.lv offers two versions of baccarat and one of craps. Also included among the table games are seven casino table poker games like Caribbean hold’em, Caribbean stud, pai gow poker, tri-card poker (two versions), and let ’em ride (two versions).

Incidentally, some of the casino poker variants offer progressive jackpots for winning with the top hand—Caribbean hold’em was offering $33,00 for a royal flush when I played there recently. That alone earns Slots.lv a top position on our shortlist of best online table game sites for New Hampshire.

How We Choose the Best Gambling Sites for New Hampshire

Our Selection Criteria
Bonuses
Entertainment
Safety
Transactions

New Hampshirites deserve the best in online gaming. That’s why we developed a sophisticated system of scoring each gambling site to see that it meets stringent standards. You can read all about how our B.E.S.T. grading system works, but let’s summarize how we score a gambling site:

  • Bonuses — Since bonuses are one of the main attractions of a gambling site, we check each bonus for generosity, fair rollover requirements, and comparative value among its competitors. We also do that for all the other bonus categories the site offers, as well, such as reload, referral, and loyalty.
  • Entertainment Features — Entertainment is a fuzzy word, but we do understand which features add value to a site for New Hampshirites. We consider how many games a casino offers. We examine the quality of streaming for both live dealer games and live sporting events. We even grade the site on how well its gambling opportunities work on mobile platforms.
  • Safety and Security —We weigh this score heavily; financial and personal information concerns are central to a site’s legitimacy and reputation. We ensure that the gambling site uses Transport Layer Security for data encryption. We also grade the site on the existence, clarity, and completeness of its privacy policy.
  • Transactions — Knowing that New Hampshirites expect financial dealings to be secure, swift, and ethical, we examine everything about the way the site deals with your money. We first ensure that the site employs banking-level encryption in both its deposit and withdrawal methods. We look at the range of methods the site has for accepting deposits—and how many they have available for later withdrawal. We also take a look at the site’s withdrawal processing and verify whether the site charges fees for those withdrawals.

legality

All sorts of gambling is legal in New Hampshire. The New Hampshire State Lottery holds sway over all licensure of gambling operations in the Granite State. Not that gambling is rampant here; according to the state’s Lottery Commission, there are only ten commercial bingo halls.

There are no tribal casinos, either (there are no federally-recognized Native American tribes in New Hampshire with which to compact). But there are sportsbooks, poker rooms are permitted, and pari-mutuel horse racing is allowed.

While there are “casinos” in New Hampshire, these are not Vegas- or Atlantic City-level operations. These casinos usually offer some combination of the following: slot machines (based on pull-tabs), table games, bingo, poker rooms, and sportsbooks.

New Hampshire has followed the rest of the nation in its view of lotteries. For a while, they were legal, then—during the great Louisiana Lottery Scandal of 1890—New Hampshire joined other states in banning lotteries forever.

Forever lasted until 1963, when the state again legalized lotteries. Today, the New Hampshire Lottery Commission regulates, licenses, and administers all forms of gambling operated within the state, from the lottery itself to parimutuel horse racing, sportsbooks, poker rooms, and bingo halls.

In 2017, New Hampshire began selling its lottery tickets on its official online website.

Sportsbooks have been legal in New Hampshire since 2019 (including mobile wagering within the state’s physical boundaries). The state currently licenses a single operator—DraftKings—which operates three sportsbooks in the state.

Does that mean New Hampshire hasn’t outlawed online gambling? While it would seem so, the state is one of those that takes the “all which is not explicitly permitted is illegal.” And since no law in the state’s Revised Statutes specifically permits online casinos, cautious gamblers must assume it is, in fact, outlawed.

The good news is New Hampshire has only enforced the law when it has found someone operating a gambling enterprise within the state; to date, there is no record of the state arresting or prosecuting anyone who placed a bet with any gambling operation. Obviously, New Hampshirites concerned about this state of affairs should consult a local gambling attorney for advice.

Land-Based Gambling Options in New Hampshire

land-based-options

New Hampshire has no tribal casinos, commercial casinos (per se), or horse racing tracks. What it does have is variants of charitable gaming enterprises that permit some slot machines (electronic pull-tabs), some table games, bingo halls, poker rooms, and even sports books—all of which are tied to charitable organizations.

Horse Racing

There was a time not long ago (2008) when horseracing in New Hampshire accounted for two-thirds of the state’s gaming revenue. And while horse and greyhound racing were popular for brief periods in the 20th century, no live tracks remain open today. Only simulcast betting is available in-state currently, and
only at The Brook (see above).

Lottery

Without the competition of horseracing, the state lottery has grown into New Hampshire’s number one revenue generator for charitable gambling. The state currently sells lottery tickets in more than 1,400 retail locations throughout the state. It also sells select lottery games via the iLottery app, which permits anyone within the physical borders of New Hampshire to establish an account and purchase lottery ticket—and collect winnings—via their mobile phone or home computer.

Future of Gambling in New Hampshire

future

The next challenge for New Hampshire in the gambling arena will likely be the legalization of full-scale land-based casinos consistent with what you might find in destination gambling cities like Monte Carlo, Las Vegas, and Atlantic City. Naturally, making certain that these prospective operations can be brought into the charitable gaming purview will be a major concern.

Look for additional refining of existing gambling laws, such as those which permit gambling cruise ships to dock in the state for up to 48 hours but requires them to disable all gambling machines while in port or in New Hampshire coastal waters.

Gambling Responsibly

gamble-responsibly

New Hampshire has always eyed gambling with caution, so it makes sense that it would extend official assistance to those Granite Staters who are struggling with responsible gambling.

With reports of more than 400 New Hampshire calls into a national gambling addiction hotline in 2020 (24% more than those in 2019), the state may be onto something. If you or anyone you know is having trouble gambling responsibly, be sure to contact these New Hampshire source:
