Odds and Prediction for Vladimir Putin’s Future – When Will He Be Replaced as Russian President?
- You can bet on Vladimir Putin prop bets at betting sites like BetUS, Bovada, and BetOnline.
- The betting odds (-200) imply that Putin should remain in office until 2025 or later.
- Bet on him to be the next world leader to leave his position or for him to win the election.
Vladimir Putin is no stranger to the spotlight, no matter how you view him. The President of Russia declared war on Ukraine in 2022, shocking several nations across the globe.
Although many outside people wish he would be relieved of his duties somehow, his approval rating in Russia is rather high. Putin is not one to accept defeat in any way, so it’s unlikely he will step down under his own power.
That said, it’s still possible he’s forced out of office due to external factors. The chances of his departure are reflected in the Putin odds from the top political betting sites online.
The following sites allow you the chance to win real money by predicting Vladimir Putin’s future while also offering tons of other political markets.

Betting Odds for Putin’s Exit Date
You’re not alone if you are wondering what Vladimir Putin will do next. This sentiment is echoed in several betting markets online.
Perhaps the most interesting of them all is available at BetUS. Pay a quick visit to that sportsbook’s politics section, and you will be met with the betting odds for Putin to step down before or after 2025. The oddsmakers aren’t expecting the Russian leader to close up shop and embrace retirement, however.
As you can see, the Putin odds favor him to step down after 2025, rather than before. That speaks volumes, in my opinion.
When will Putin step down? That’s a question I will be looking to answer as we go through this post.
While some news sources would have you believe that the guy has one foot out the door already, that’s not exactly the truth. And if you’re betting on this market, you deserve to know why that is.
It’s important to take everything into consideration, especially because there are a lot of variables. For starters, you’ll want to make sure you’re on a reputable betting site that offers unique political markets like this.
BetUS – The Best Political Betting Site
What is the best site for political betting, you ask? That would be none other than BetUS. They have tons of different political props on their site, which obviously include ones about Vladimir Putin.
Political betting is rather niche in the sportsbook world, meaning not all sites offer bets like this. BetUS is one of the few sites that dove headfirst into the market, so it’s no wonder why they have the best platform.
You also get a generous welcome bonus for signing up. New users get a 125% deposit boost (up to $2,500), which you can use to bet on Putin’s future, or any other market you wish.
Is Putin’s Position a Strong One?
These aren’t necessarily Putin overthrow odds, but rather odds that he leaves office. You can get a good idea of what experts believe will happen by looking at the prices for certain years.
Contrary to the negative reports about the Russian president floating around online, he is in a position of great strength. In fact, Putin’s approval rating was 81% at the end of 2022. Now, it’s estimated to be the highest it’s been in nearly eight years.
I must point out that I do not support this war in any form. Nor am I a Kremlin agent sent here to try and push pro-Russian spin. I’m anti-propaganda in all its forms.
If you want a real sense of Russia’s president’s political playing field, go back up and look at the odds!
It’s OK to ask whether Putin will ever step down. But there would have to be some seismic screw-ups in Moscow for him to go any time soon.
Let’s be completely honest for a minute. Many multinational conglomerates continue to make money hand over fist, imploring you to blame Russia for rising energy costs and other resources. But not them, of course.
With the sanctions imposed on Putin’s nation because of the invasion, who is in a better position?
We were told that the Russian economy would implode following sanctions on Russia. It didn’t. Rosstat, the Russian statistics bureau, recently announced a 0.4% drop in the country’s gross domestic product (GDP) in the first six months of 2022. It is also predicted that Russia’s GDP will be down 3% for the whole year.
In another vote of confidence for Putin, inflation is dwindling alongside the robust ruble. Who is losing again? Or more to the point, why will Putin retire?
If you’re looking for political markets with more of an unclear outlook, maybe the odds Michelle Obama becoming president will be more of interest.
Why Putin Is Not Going Anywhere Any Time Soon
There is no doubt that Vladimir Putin has a lot to answer for. But so do many other leaders and nations worldwide who are seemingly profiting from this conflict.
The united front against Moscow has only reinforced a siege mentality among many Russians who have little to nothing to do with their country’s military efforts.
Ask them if Putin will ever step down and test their reactions. More to the point, you could gauge their response by showing them the odds of Vladimir Putin stepping down and asking them to choose the year.
Vladimir Putin began his speech at the third international forum “One Belt – One Road”:

— The Russian Federation and China, like most countries, share the desire for equal cooperation in the world;
— Russia and China strive for long-term economic progress and social well-being;… pic.twitter.com/7WH7mOadVt
As I mentioned, Putin’s approval rating is floating around the mid-80 percent mark. In contrast, many of the other world leaders have approval ratings that are far lower. People seem to disagree on everything, but Putin has an overwhelming amount of support in Russia.
The war on Ukraine has had a massive impact on the globe. Despite being the invader and not the invaded, Putin still remains in the position of great power. He certainly ruffled some feathers along the way, but his approval rating in other countries does not matter in the slightest.
It will be interesting to see what long term effects the war has on Russia’s economy. The beginning of the war plummeted the Russian stock market, but it’s been steadily increasing ever since.
All in all, it seems very unlikely that Putin will be leaving anytime soon.
Why Vladimir Putin Might Leave Office
Will Putin resign? It’s very difficult to get any insight here, so we must resort to speculation.
Naturally, he’s not going to be around forever. Therefore, the more pertinent question should be when will Putin step down.
Aside from being a more interesting topic to mull over, it’s also one directly related to the betting market above.
There are several reasons why the Russian president could leave office anytime. It’s unlikely he will do it willingly, but health and other factors could make the decision for him.
One of those outside factors could be an assassination. Russia has claimed to have foiled a Ukrainian attempt to kill Putin in recent memory, and it’s entirely possible that they will try again.
It’s also possible that Putin is dealing with health issues. There’s speculation that the 70-year-old is undergoing chemotherapy treatment. If this turns out to be true, his exit could be sooner rather than later.
Will Vladimir Putin resign? You know, just for the fun of it?
I doubt it. As someone who signed a law in 2021 allowing himself to hold office until 2036, I can’t see him walking away on a whim.
Of course, if his tenure were to run that long, he would surpass Josef Stalin’s time as head of the Soviet Union. A whole 29 years, for those unaware.
Another interesting connection between the incumbent president and the USSR dictator is that Putin’s grandfather was Stalin’s cook. That’s a decent one to add to your Putin trivia.

Other Vladimir Putin Prop Bets
- Next Russian Presidential Election Winner Odds – Visit Bovada
- Next World Leader to Leave Office Odds – Visit BetOnline
If you’ve already placed your bet on the Putin odds I mentioned earlier, you should know that there are even more props out there. The two props above are a lot more betting upside compared to the prop at BetUS.
For example, Bovada offers a wager for the next Russian presidential election. Unsurprisingly, Putin is a massive favorite at -2000. If these Putin odds tell us anything, it’s that he’s not going anywhere.
However, you might disagree. In that case, you can try your luck at predicting the next Russian election winner. Nikolai Patrushev (+1500) is the most-favored option after Putin, followed by Dmitry Medvedev, Alexei Dyumin, and Mikhail Mishustin.
That prop has a lot of value to it if you think his time is almost up. Benjamin Netanyahu (+140) is the current favorite to leave his position. He’s followed by Pedro Sanchez, Rishi Sunak, and Joe Biden.
There is also a chance that more Putin prop bets will be added to the mix in the future. Other world events have caught the media’s attention as of late, but Putin could be back in the spotlight before we know it.
Be sure to use the top political betting apps to always stay in the loop. I recommend sites like BetUS, BetOnline, or Bovada.
Betting on Vladimir Putin’s Future
It’s not easy to predict the future for anything, let alone Vladimir Putin. However, there’s a chance you can win some serious cash if your predictions come true.
If you feel strongly about what Vladimir Putin’s future beholds, be sure to place your wagers so you can win big.
I’ll be betting on the Russian president to remain in office until after 2025 (-200) at BetUS.
That’s not too far from now, and it doesn’t seem like there’s any real threat to his position. There would have
to be some sort of dramatic event that shatters his approval rating.
He might be Satan incarnate to some around the world, but he is golden to many Russians.
As we’ve discussed, the top political betting sites offer many different kinds of wagers. For those of you interested in the 2024 US presidential election odds, you can read more about them below.
