  • The 2023 NFL Honors will award the season’s biggest awards to the top players.
  • NFL MVP, Coach of the Year, and other awards will be given out.
  • BetUS and other top sites offer 2023 NFL awards odds, which could be your way of winning big.

We are still a few months away, but the NFL Honors will be here before we know it. The Super Bowl is fun and all, but we still must give out this year’s biggest awards, like the NFL MVP. Each player who receives an award will go down in history as one of the best to ever do it.

Certain players are on non-contending teams, so this is the biggest night of the year for them.

Not only that, but you can win big by betting on the 2023 NFL awards odds. Let’s take a look at the odds for each major award at the top US sportsbooks.

Odds to Win the 2022 NFL MVP Award

  • Patrick Mahomes (-160)
  • Tua Tagovailoa (+450)
  • Jalen Hurts (+600)
  • Josh Allen (+650)
  • Joe Burrow (+1800)
  • Lamar Jackson (+3000)
  • Geno Smith (+4000)
  • Kirk Cousins (+6000)
  • Tyreek Hill (+8000)
  • Justin Herbert (+10000)

Let’s start things off with the biggest award given out every season. The NFL MVP is the best award a player can receive. There are many great players throughout the NFL, but to be the best of the best is beyond impressive.

This year will be no different, with a good number of players still within reach of winning the MVP. That said, Patrick Mahomes is seen as the heavy favorite when looking at the latest 2022 NFL MVP odds.

Mahomes is unstoppable and leads the Chiefs’ offense to another huge year. Kansas City is the only team in the NFL averaging 30 points per game. Tyreek Hill was traded in the offseason, which led to many thinking it would be a down year for the Chiefs.

It has been quite the opposite, and it’s fitting to see Mahomes as the favorite for NFL MVP.

Mahomes is certainly one of the best 2023 NFL awards picks because of his very high chance of winning. You could try your luck on a player with more value in their 2023 NFL awards betting odds, but this is Mahomes’ award to lose.

Bovada offers NFL Honors props like this one, so head over there to place your bets on Mahomes.

2022 NFL Comeback Player of the Year Odds

  • Geno Smith (-150)
  • Saquon Barkley (+110)
  • Derrick Henry (+2000)
  • Christian McCaffrey (+2500)
  • Travis Etienne (+5000)
  • Nick Gates (+5000)

BetOnline has odds for the Comeback Player of the Year. These players all had to overcome an obstacle to win this award, which is usually a major injury.

Saquon Barkley, Derrick Henry, Christian McCaffrey, Travis Etienne, and Nick Gates had to overcome massive injuries this season, and now they are in contention to win this award because of their resilience.

That said, the current favorite to win the award is Geno Smith. Smith didn’t have to overcome a big injury in the past year, but he still deserves to be the favorite.

When talking about resilience, it’s impossible not to talk about Smith.

He started his career as a second-round pick for the Jets and was their starter for two seasons. Things went downhill shortly after, as he suffered multiple major injuries.

Smith could not work his way back to a full-time starting role but provided some good QB depth to a handful of teams. It seemed he would be a backup, journeyman quarterback for the rest of his career, but he bounced back and led Seattle to an impressive first half.

Nobody expected Seattle to be a playoff team this year, but here they are at the top of the NFC West at the time of this writing. Even if the Seahawks falter down the stretch, Geno Smith should still be the best pick to win Comeback Player of the Year.

Coach of the Year NFL Odds for 2022

  • Nick Sirianni (PHI) -125
  • Mike McDaniel (MIA) +550
  • Kevin O’Connell (MIN) +750
  • Brian Daboll (NYG) +850
  • Pete Carroll (SEA) +1100
  • Robert Saleh (NYJ) +1400
  • Mike Vrabel (TEN) +2000
  • Mike McCarthy (DAL) +2000

BetUS will be one of your top sites to bet on your 2023 NFL awards picks. They offer these odds for the Coach of the Year, with Eagles’ Nick Sirianni as the favorite.

Philadelphia started out this season with a perfect 8-0 record. They’ve gone from a team with much potential to a team that could end up being a Super Bowl contender. Jalen Hurts has taken a step forward, and the addition of A.J. Brown helped a lot.

If the Eagles finish this season with the best record in the NFL, Sirianni should lock up Coach of the Year.

Miami is another team that has turned things around, thanks to Mike McDaniel. He’s turned the Dolphins into an offensive juggernaut and deserves most of the credit for their success.

We still have a lot of time left this season, but Sirianni and McDaniel should be seen as the top two options. I’ll be taking McDaniel for my 2023 NFL awards predictions since he has way more value than Sirianni. Philadelphia has benefited from an easy schedule, so we will see how they finish out the year.

Head over to BetUS to place your wagers on the Coach of the Year.

2022 Offensive Player of the Year Award Odds

  • Tyreek Hill (+225)
  • Justin Jefferson (+325)
  • Jalen Hurts (+500)
  • Patrick Mahomes (+750)
  • Derrick Henry (+1400)
  • Stefon Diggs (+1400)
  • Lamar Jackson (+1600)
  • Saquon Barkley (+2200)
  • Travis Kelce (+2200)
  • Josh Allen (+2500)

The NFL MVP is great, but it’s usually an award handed out to a quarterback. That’s the most important position on the field, so it makes sense for QBs to win. One of the downfalls of the MVP is that it doesn’t highlight the insane performances from non-QBs.

For Example
Cooper Kupp had a jaw-dropping season last year but didn’t win NFL MVP. His season didn’t go unnoticed because he won Offensive Player of the Year.

Kupp was enjoying another big season, but he suffered a major ankle injury, ruining his chances of defending his title.

Tyreek Hill is having a huge season in his first with the Dolphins. He set the record for the most receiving yards through nine games and should have a chance to break the single-season record.

Calvin Johnson holds the record with 1,964 yards in 2012, and Hill is on pace to surpass him. It helps that Hill has an additional game to break the record, but it’s still very impressive.

Justin Jefferson is close on Hill’s trail in the odds and receiving yards. This should be a fun race between the league’s top two wide receivers.

I’m taking Hill to win while his odds are still in positive territory.

Odds for the NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 2022

  • Micah Parsons (-325)
  • Matthew Judon (+550)
  • Nick Bosa (+800)
  • Maxx Crosby (+2000)
  • Chris Jones (+2000)
  • Myles Garrett (+3300)

Micah Parsons is the heaviest favorite out of all the 2023 NFL awards betting odds to win Defensive Player of the Year. Parsons won Defensive Rookie of the Year last season, finishing with thirteen sacks and 84 total tackles.

Through his first ten games, Parsons already has ten sacks, 47 total tackles, and even a defensive touchdown. He’s been one of the best pass rushers since entering the league last year and should have a strong chance of winning DPOY in 2022.

Matthew Judon has more sacks than Parsons right now, with thirteen. Teams have adjusted to Parsons, which has resulted in fewer tackles. If Judon finishes with more sacks this season, we could see a substantial upset.

Parsons’ odds aren’t intriguing at their current price, so I’ll make my prediction of the current sack leader, Matthew Judon.

Offensive Rookie of the Year Odds for 2023

  • Kenneth Walker III (-125)
  • Dameon Pierce (+320)
  • Chris Olave (+600)
  • Christian Watson (+1400)
  • Brian Robinson Jr. (+2000)
  • Isiah Pacheco (+2000)
  • Kenny Pickett (+3500)
  • Garrett Wilson (+3500)

The Rookie of the Year awards is always exciting. Every year we get a new batch of players who become the next NFL stars right before our eyes.

We have some great players in contention for the Offensive Rookie of the Year. Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III is the current favorite, followed by Dameon Pierce and Chris Olave.

Walker has taken over as the Seahawks’ starter ever since Rashaad Penny went down. He’s had some huge games, highlighted by a 167-yard performance with two touchdowns against the Chargers.

However, I’ll be making my prediction on Chris Olave. His current price is too good to pass up, as he’s been the most consistent rookie in the NFL. Olave has at least 40 receiving yards in every game this season.

Not only that, but he has three touchdowns and three games with over 100 receiving yards. His consistency and valuable price make him one of my favorite NFL Honors predictions.

Odds for the Defensive Rookie of the Year

  • Ahmad Gardner (-175)
  • Tariq Woolen 9+350)
  • Aidan Hutchinson (+600)
  • Jaquan Brisker (+2500)
  • Jack Jones (+2800)
  • Christian Harris (+5000)
  • Kayvon Thibodeaux (+5000)
  • Kyle Hamilton (+5000)

As I said, Micah Parsons was the NFL DROY last season and is the current favorite for DPOY. Could the next Defensive Rookie of the Year follow in his footsteps?

The top two options on the list are both cornerbacks, which include Ahmad “Sauce” Gardner and Tariq Woolen. Gardner is one of the biggest reasons why the Jets’ defense is one of the better units in the NFL.

Woolen was an absolute steal by the Seahawks in the fifth round. He’s got unteachable height and athleticism, which is why he’s one of the league leaders in interceptions.

Aidan Hutchinson was the first pick in the recent draft, and he’s having a respectable season so far. After the top three options, there’s a steep dropoff in the 2023 NFL awards odds until we reach Jaquan Brisker.

If you’re going to bet on the Defensive Rookie of the Year, you should know that Gardner, Woolen, and Hutchinson are the top options. My pick will be Woolen since he’s likely to finish as the interception leader for rookies and possibly the NFL.

2023 NFL Awards Predictions

  • Patrick Mahomes to Win MVP (-160)
  • Nick Sirianni to Win Coach of the Year (-125)
  • Tyreek Hill to Win Offensive Player of the Year (+225)
  • Matthew Judon to Win Defensive Player of the Year (+550)
  • Kenneth Walker III to Win Offensive Rookie of the Year (-125)
  • Tariq Woolen to Win Defensive Rookie of the Year (+350)

Here are my 2023 NFL awards predictions for each available market.

Not every favorite is worth betting on, even though they have the highest chance of winning. For example, Micah Parsons is a heavy favorite for Defensive Player of the Year. His NFL player awards odds are -325, which isn’t worth the risk.

I also think Parsons doesn’t have as good of a shot at winning as the odds make it seem. His tackle numbers are slightly down, and he’s not the NFL sack leader. Last year, T.J. Watt won DPOY, mostly because he led the NFL with 22.5 sacks.

There are certain favorites that should be worth betting on. Patrick Mahomes, Nick Sirianni, Tyreek Hill, and Kenneth Walker III are all favored at reasonable prices.

In addition to Judon, I believe Tariq Woolen should be considered the better option for Defensive Rookie of the Year. Ahmad Gardner is a great pick, but these awards tend to go to players with either sacks or interceptions.

Woolen ranks second in the entire league in interceptions while being the rookie leader. That should give him the edge over Gardner, who has just two interceptions compared to Woolen’s five.

These are going to be my final NFL player awards predictions for 2023. We still have a lot of the season left, but these players should still end the season as top candidates for their respective awards.

Betting on NFL Award Winners in 2023

There are many different ways to approach betting on the 2023 NFL awards odds. You can bet on the favorites for a higher chance of winning or risk it on some long-shot bets.

The most important thing to remember is that every award is different.

Some awards have overwhelming favorites, while others are more open-ended. Tyreek Hill is favored to win his award, but his odds are +225. To put things into perspective, the top two options for Comeback Player of the Year have shorter odds than that.

In the end, it’s important to pick and choose your battles. Betting on the NFL awards can be a very fun and profitable experience. However, the more bets you place, the more you put at risk.

Betting on NFL awards is a great way to win some money this season. Not everyone’s favorite team will be in the Super Bowl, but maybe their favorite players will be candidates for some of these awards.

Thanks to the best NFL betting websites, everyone can end the season on a high note.

Of course, there are more NFL betting markets available to bettors. One is NFL playoff wagers, where you can bet on which team make the playoffs. Here’s a breakdown of the NFL playoff race, and how you might want to bet this season.
