Odds and Predictions for WWE Champions at End of 2023 – Who Will Be the Men and Women’s Champs?
- WrestleMania 39 has concluded, but we still don’t know who will be WWE Champion at the end of 2023.
- The 2023 WWE Champion odds at BetOnline favor Roman Reigns, Bianca Belair, and Rhea Ripley to remain at the top.
- Other potential contenders include Ronda Rousey, Charlotte Flair, Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, and more.
Roman Reigns and Bianca Belair defended their champion titles at WrestleMania 39 in dramatic fashion. They both have good chances to end 2023 as champions, but nothing is guaranteed.
We still have the Money in the Bank and SummerSlam on the schedule. Reigns and Belair are in a good spot, but someone else could take their crown by the end of the year.
If you think you know who that could be, I urge you to go to the best WWE betting sites. There, you can place your bets on who you think ends the year as the champion. Let’s break down the 2023 WWE champion odds and see who makes the best bet.
Odds for WWE Champions at End of 2023
You’ll want to head over to BetOnline to find the WWE Champion betting odds. Not all sites offer odds for this. In fact, there aren’t many sites that offer WWE betting markets at all.
We get to make 2023 WWE champion predictions for the men and women, so let’s start with the ladies first.
Women’s WWE Champ Odds
Here are the Women’s 2023 WWE champion odds. As you can see, we have some serious competition for who will end the year at the top. Rhea Ripley is the current favorite at -120, but Bianca Belair, Charlotte Flair, and others are close behind.
Charlotte Flair was the champion of the SmackDown Women’s Championship, but she was defeated by Rhea Ripley. Bianca Belair defended her title for the Raw Women’s Championship after defeating Asuka by pinfall.
With Ripley and Belair currently holding the two titles, it’s no surprise they are at the top of the 2023 WWE champion odds. The real question is, who could take them down?
Flair has seven reigns as the SmackDown champion, which is the most all-time. She most certainly is capable of taking back her crown. Ronda Rousey will be another tough competitor for Ripley to hold off.
As for the Raw Women’s Championship, Becky Lynch appears to be the top contender against Belair.
Men’s WWE Champ Odds
Roman Reigns sits atop the odds for the WWE Men’s Champ. He defended his title at WrestleMania 39 against Cody Rhodes with the help of Paul Heyman and Solo Sikoa. With that, Reigns defended the WWE Championship and Universal Championship, remaining the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.
Rhodes is still a top contender to be champ by the end of the year. If he were to get another shot at Reigns, he might not miss the opportunity again.
Interestingly enough, The Rock has +200 odds of becoming a champ at the end of 2023. The Rock has yet to return to WWE, and there are questions about if it will even happen. He’s quite busy with the XFL’s return and other projects, but the odds imply that there’s still hope.
Other contenders include Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, and Bray Wyatt.
Which one of these wrestlers could be the next WWE Men’s champ? That’s for you to decide. Check out this BetOnline review, or head straight to their site to place your bets now!
Top Contenders to End 2023 as WWE Champ
Roman Reigns, Rhea Ripley, and Bianca Belair could very well end the year as the champions. However, all reigns must come to an end. A few wrestlers could take down the current champions and claim the title for themselves. So, who has the best chance of doing so?
Let’s break down the top contenders for the men and women.
Women’s Top Contenders for Champion
You can absolutely bet on the current champions to defend their title all the way through 2023. Ripley and Belair have the upper hand right now and earned the right to be there. It might not be the most exciting pick, but we want winning bets, not fun bets.
Belair is still in her first reign, and she’s already surpassed Becky Lynch for most days with over 376. She probably wants to extend her reign for as long as possible. A rematch between Belair and Lynch could be in the future.
Lynch and Belair have some bad blood, so the motivation is definitely there. I already talked about Flair, and she’s definitely one to consider here as well.
The WWE SummerSlam is the last main event of the year. Ronda Rousey took the crown in 2018 at the SummerSlam, so maybe she will do so again this year. Rousey and Shayna Baszler teamed up at WrestleMania 39 and won the fatal four-way tag team match.
For her next big move, Rousey might go for the title.
Men’s Top Contenders for Champion
Rhodes had a great chance of winning the title against Reigns at WrestleMania 39, but he fell short. Many were hoping that Rhodes would pull it off, and the match wasn’t even a full one on one.
He could have a few more chances by the end of the year, but it won’t be easy. Maybe he will get his best chance if he lures Reigns into a match with no one but themselves.
Seth Rollins defeated Logan Paul at WrestleMania 39 and is someone to consider here. Rollins was the 2022 Wrestler of the Year and was the Universal Champion in 2019.
Bray Wyatt could also be motivated to take down Roman Reigns. Reigns attacked him at SummerSlam 2020 after he became the new Universal Champion. Now that he is the champion, Wyatt could finally look to get his revenge.
Brock Lesnar has also had a heated rivalry with Reigns. Reigns defeated Lesnar at the 2022 SummerSlam, so Lesnar could also throw his hat in the ring as well.
Best WWE Champion Sleepers for 2023
- Women’s – Liv Morgan (+1000)
- Men’s – Braun Strowman (+1000)
If you want to make some 2023 WWE champion predictions, I would consider some sleeper picks. The top contenders and current title holders will be tough to overcome, but we’ve seen crazier things happen.
There’s always a chance someone swoops in to steal the title, and there are plenty of opportunities for that to happen by the end of the year. With that in mind, it makes sense to target someone worth the amount of risk involved.
The result of the SummerSlam match between her and Rousey had a controversial ending. Rousey very well could have won, but the ref awarded a win to Morgan by pinfall. Morgan went on to lose to Rhea Ripley at Royal Rumble, so there’s motivation for her to get her revenge on the current champion.
My top sleeper pick for the next WWE men’s champ will be Braun Strowman.
Strowman was eliminated in his last match, but it was against Cody Rhodes. That’s not necessarily a bad loss. He’s also a wrestler with experience defeating Roman Reigns. He dominated Reigns at Payback in 2017 and could show him up once more.
Predicting the 2023 WWE Champs
So, who will be a WWE Champion in 2023? The current title holders are Roman Reigns, Rhea Ripley, and Bianca Belair. These are three talented wrestlers, but do they make for the strongest bets?
First, there’s a long way to go until the end of the year. We still have Backlash, King and Queen of the Ring, Money in the Bank, and SummerSlam on the schedule. WrestleMania 39 has come and gone, but 2023 is far from over.
That’s why I find it more appealing to bet on someone with a better price than these three. As for my prediction for the next women’s WWE Champion, I will say that Ronda Rousey takes the SmackDown title.
My prediction for the Raw Women’s Champ will be Becky Lynch. These two wrestlers are incredibly talented and could knock off the current champs by the end of the year.
As for my prediction for the men’s champ, I will take Cody Rhodes. It was pretty disappointing for him not to win at WrestleMania 39, so hopefully, he can end the year with the crown to make up for it.
It also helps that his 2023 WWE champion odds are at a healthy +200. Feel free to tag along with my picks or make your own at the top WWE betting apps.
