  • Lamar Jackson’s rushing yard total is set at 750.5 and I’m smashing the over at BetUS.
  • Jordan Addison has a good chance and great price (+250) to lead all rookies in receiving yards.
  • Rachaad White should be able to finish with over 1,050.5 rushing and receiving yards.

The 2023 NFL season is about to be underway, so you know what that means. That’s right, it’s time to get all our futures bets in before Week 1 officially kicks off.

If you want to get in on the action, I recommend wagering on these 2023 NFL player prop bets.

There’s a good chance you already placed a bet on the Super Bowl, MVP, or maybe even some team totals. Those are the popular markets that most are aware of, but many will forget about individual players.

You can bet on your favorite players, or ones that you think are in for a big season. If you feel like certain players are in for disappointing campaigns this year, you can bet on that as well.

Below are seven of my favorite NFL player props for 2023!

Lamar Jackson Over 750.5 Rushing Yards (-115)

My best 2023 NFL season prop bets will start with Lamar Jackson’s rushing yards. You can find this specific prop at BetUS.

The Baltimore Ravens quarterback just got a big extension, so now he can keep all his focus on the field. His over under for rushing yards is set at 750.5 at Bovada, and I for one am hammering the over.

You can also bet on his passing yards, passing touchdowns, and rushing touchdowns.

I’m a fan of the over for almost everything related to Lamar Jackson, but I’ll keep it simple and stick with the rushing yards. I’d even consider his passing yard total since he thinks he can throw for 6,000 yards this year.

Lamar is mainly known for his ability to run as a quarterback. The 26-year-old has rushed for 4,437 yards across 70 games and 61 starts in the NFL. That comes out to an average of 63.3 per game and 72.7 per start.

He played in all 16 games in his rookie season, but only seven of them were starts. Jackson is the unquestioned starting QB in Baltimore, especially after signing a five year, $260 million contract.

We need 751 rushing yards from Lamar to cover this prop. That comes out to an average of just 44.18 per game. Given Lamar’s career rushing averages, this shouldn’t be a problem.

The issues might come with Lamar’s health. He’s missed five games in each of the last two seasons, but he still managed to eclipse 760 rushing yards in both.

There was some speculation that Lamar didn’t want to risk further injury before signing a new contract at the end of last season. Now that it’s no longer an issue, Lamar should be on the field whenever he’s healthy.

I think this makes the over for his rushing total one of the top NFL player wagers for 2023. You can wager on the best 2023 NFL player props at BetUS.

Jordan Addison Most Yards for Rookie WRs (+250)

Later in the blog I’ll discuss how Bijan Robinson has a chance to be a superstar right out of the gate, but what about some other rookies? Every year we get a new batch of players, and it isn’t long before they’re the new faces of the NFL.

The wide receiver draft class is getting a lot of hype as well. There are some talented players who are looking to make a name for themselves as early as Week 1.

Jordan Addison, Zay Flowers, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, and Quentin Johnston were all drafted in the first round of the NFL Draft.

One of the top NFL player wagers for this season is for which one of these wide receivers has the most passing yards. This prop is just for these four wide receivers, and here are their betting odds:

  • Jordan Addison (+250)
  • Jaxon Smith-Njigba (+275)
  • Quentin Johnston (+400)
  • Zay Flowers (+750)

As you can see, the betting odds favor Addison to finish with the most receiving yards, and with good reason. Yes, he’s a very talented player, but that’s not the main reason why he has the best chance to win.

Opportunity is everything for these rookies. You can’t get a lot of receiving yards when you aren’t on the field.

So, which of these players will be on the field the most? With the way it looks right now, Addison should have the upper hand.

Minnesota let Adam Thielen go in free agency, which instantly opened up a lot of snaps in their offense. Addison should be able to grab the starting job here with ease.

Johnston will be in a pass-heavy offense, but he will be behind Keenan Allen, Mike Williams, and possibly Josh Palmer. Smith-Njigba is in a more run-first offense in Seattle and will be behind D.K Metcalf and Tyler Lockett.

Zay Flowers is in more of a run-heavy team than all four of these players and could also be behind Odell Beckham Jr. and Rashod Bateman.

This is one of the top NFL season long player props, and you can find it at Everygame’s sportsbook, or you can head straight there to bet on more 2023 NFL player prop bets!

Aaron Rodgers Under 9.5 Interceptions (-115)

The New York Jets made a big move this offseason when they acquired Aaron Rodgers from the Green Bay Packers. Zach Wilson lost the starting job last season, so the Jets prioritized grabbing a new starter.

New York has high expectations for their team in 2023.

They had a chance to make the playoffs last season but ultimately fell short with a record of 7-10. Quarterback play was thought to be their main issue, so it made sense for them to try and improve in that area.

What better way to improve than to get a four-time league MVP quarterback in Aaron Rodgers?

So, what kind of player are the Jets getting? One thing is for sure; they are getting a quarterback that knows how to take care of the football.

Zach Wilson threw more interceptions than touchdowns last season, so this will be a big change for the Jets’ offense.

Rodgers himself isn’t coming off the best season in this category. He threw 12 interceptions with Green Bay last season, which is unlike him. The last time the 39-year-old threw double-digit interceptions was back in 2010.

Efficiency is the name of the game for Rodgers. This is the main reason why he’s been able to win the MVP award in two of the last three seasons.

There could be some growing pains for Rodgers in a new offense, but historically, he’s been almost immune to interceptions.

He also has a lot of experience with offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett and the Jets even brought in some of his longtime teammates to help out.

If you like the look of this NFL player prop, be sure to place a bet on it at BetUS.

Rachaad White Over 1,050.5 Rushing & Receiving Yards (-105)

Another one of my best 2023 NFL player props is for Rachaad White to finish with over 1,050.5 rushing and receiving yards. Tampa Bay has entered a new age after Tom Brady decided to retire again.

The Buccaneers signed Baker Mayfield to a one-year deal, so they are expected to take a significant step back.

That said, you could argue that Tampa Bay will be less disappointing in 2023, simply based on the lower level of expectations.

Even with this being a potential down year for the Bucs, I still feel confident in my prediction. Rachaad White is now the top dog in Tampa Bay’s backfield. Leonard Fournette is now a free agent and it’s unlikely that he returns to the team.

White showed a lot of potential last year, even with Fournette taking away some touches. His first game with over 60% of snaps (64%) didn’t come until Week 10, but he made the most of it. He carried the ball 22 times for 105 yards against the Seahawks.

After a bye week, White ended up playing 90% of snaps against the Chiefs and recorded 109 total yards (64 rushing, 45 receiving) on 14 carries and nine receptions. He continued to impress in other games, both in the rushing game and passing game.

The main reason why he didn’t have eye-popping totals in his rookie season was because he hardly played over the course of the entire season. Now that he’s the unquestioned starter, that won’t be the case.

I expect White to play more than half of offensive snaps in 2023, which is more than enough to get the job done. No, Baker Mayfield is not Tom Brady, but that could mean that the Bucs will rely on their running back even more.

You can find a lot of great 2023 NFL player season props across the league, even if they are on unexciting teams. This specific prop can be found at Bovada.

Bijan Robinson Over 1,100.5 Rushing Yards (-110)

I’ve touched on a few players you’ve heard of before, but what about some new faces? There are a good amount of 2023 NFL player prop bets about rookies, so let’s look at a few of them.

One of my absolute favorite NFL player props for 2023 is Bijan Robinson’s rushing total. Atlanta’s newest offensive weapon is primed for a big season, and the top sites have his line set at 1,100.5.

This seems to be an easy over pick but let me explain why.

First, Bijan Robinson is not your average running back. The RB position is not as valuable as it once was, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t some incredible players in the position.

Robinson is going to be one of those players. He’s a special talent and will put his skills on display this year. There was a lot of hype around him for the NFL Draft, and the Falcons took him with the eighth pick.

This might seem high for a running back because it is. However, Robinson could have easily been the first overall pick if the RB position had the same value it did ten years ago.

The Tennessee Volunteer rushed for 1,580 yards and 18 touchdowns across 12 games last season. Yes, he will face tougher competition in the NFL. However, 1,101 rushing yards seems well within his range.

Bijan is incredibly athletic, can break tackles with ease, and has big play potential with his speed. Atlanta likes to run the football, and their draft pick guarantees they’ll do a lot of it this season.

Tyler Allgeier ran for 1,035 yards last season, while Cordarrelle Patterson added in 695 as well. Robinson should instantly start over these two running backs and get even more rushing attempts.

The future is bright for Robinson, and he will prove he’s worthy of the hype. If you’re looking for the best NFL prop bets for 2023, make sure to include the newest Falcons’ running back.

Jordan Love Over 12.5 Interceptions (-115)

Not all my top NFL season long player props are optimistic. My next pick is for Jordan Love to finish with more than 12.5 interceptions at BetUS.

Now that Aaron Rodgers is out of town, Love is the starting quarterback for the Packers.

The gap from Aaron Rodgers to Jordan Love is quite large. There is a chance that Love becomes a star, and maybe this is the year he does it. However, I think it’s best to bet against him in 2023.

Don’t get mad at me, Packers fans; even Green Bay’s GM is betting against Love.

They declined his fifth-year option on his rookie contract and signed him to a different extension instead. What’s the difference? Well, this new deal guarantees Love $10 million less than the rookie option.

That means if the Packers want to move on from Love, it won’t hurt as bad since they did this new deal.

You can bet on Jordan Love’s passing yards or touchdowns, but I feel as if his interceptions make more sense.

As I mentioned earlier, Aaron Rodgers threw 12 interceptions last season with Green Bay. That was a large number for him, especially since he’s one of the most efficient players ever.

It wouldn’t be a surprise for Love to throw just one more interception than his former teammate.

Also, Green Bay’s wide receiving core is very young. They have talent but could struggle to get on the same page with Love. What does this often lead to? More interceptions.

It’s hard to say how careless Love is with turnovers since he hasn’t played a whole lot. He has three interceptions in 10 games played but only one start. Love started in Week 9 of 2021 and threw for 190 yards, one touchdown, and one interception.

Most of my 2023 NFL player prop bets are optimistic, but I wouldn’t be too excited for the new starting QB for the Packers.

A.J. Brown Over 215.5 PPR Fantasy Points (-115)

My 2023 NFL player season prop bets will come to a close with one of the most exciting players in the NFL. A.J. Brown was one of the main reasons why the Philadelphia Eagles were able to make it all the way to the Super Bowl last year.

Yes, the Eagles had a phenomenal roster overall, but Brown helped Jalen Hurts turn into a star. The Eagles were unable to beat the Chiefs in Super Bowl 57, but Brown still had a great game. He finished with six catches for 96 yards and a touchdown.

My prediction for this season is that he will finish with over 215.5 PPR fantasy points. For those of you who aren’t into fantasy football, first of all, what is the matter with you? Second, fantasy points are very simple.

In a PPR (points per reception) format, players get one point for each reception. So, if Brown catches eight passes for zero yards, he would still get eight fantasy points. Yardage-wise, one yard equals 0.1 fantasy points. You also get six whole points for touchdowns, which Brown scored 11 of in 2022.

In fact, Brown scored 299.60 PPR fantasy points last season, which comes out to an average of 17.6 per contest. He could have played just 13 games last year and he still would have beaten this total.

Brown has scored more than 217 PPR fantasy points in three of his four career seasons. The only year he didn’t was when he played just 13 games in 2021. Simply put, I’m quite shocked that his total for this year is this low.

That’s why this is one of my favorite 2023 NFL player prop bets. Brown should be in for another monster season with the Eagles. I’m expecting 80+ catches, 1,200+ receiving yards, and 8+ touchdowns.

That would give him a minimum of 248 points in total. You can visit Bovada if you like to bet on Brown this NFL season.
