The NBA is constantly filled with drama, even if it’s the offseason. We’ve already seen some major trades that have shaken up the league, and the fun isn’t over yet.

Some of the league’s biggest stars remain unsigned, and you can make some serious cash by predicting where they end up.

You’ll be able to find 2023 NBA free agency odds on the best sports betting sites. These sites always offer unique props throughout the year to keep us entertained.

I’ll break down the odds for these NBA free agency props and offer my top picks. Players can be signed at any minute, so let’s get our bets in before it’s too late!

Latest Odds for 2023 NBA Free Agency

NBA free agency opens Friday, June 30th, at 6 pm (ET). There will likely be a flush of new contracts once we reach that point.

Many big-name players will likely be on the move, which could shake up the league even more than the recent trades and the draft.

I’ll be highlighting some of the most popular stars, but there are even more props that you can bet on at BetUS. If you want to bet on the 2023 NBA free agency, look at their site to see all the available prop bets.

James Harden

Houston Rockets-400
San Antonio Spurs+800
Los Angeles Clippers+900
Dallas Mavericks+1000
Phoenix Suns+1200
Miami Heat+1200
New York Knicks+1400
Los Angeles Lakers+1400

The biggest question for NBA free agency is where James Harden will sign. Philadelphia will make a strong effort to re-sign him, but they will have some stiff competition.

Harden is likely going to demand around $50 million per season. The 76ers have a ton of money committed to Joel Embiid, Tobias Harris, and more. Other teams will be able to outbid the 76ers for Harden, so it’s likely that their time together is over.

As you can see, the 2023 NBA free agency odds heavily favor the Houston Rockets to sign Harden. The star guard had his best years in Houston, so it makes sense for the two to reunite. Houston has the most cap space for next season, so they could easily outbid the 76ers.

San Antonio drafted Victor Wembanyama with the first overall pick, which could entice free agents to sign there.

Harden is widely expected to opt out of his deal with the 76ers, which would make him the biggest star in the open market.

If you’re ready to wager on the 2023 NBA free agency, head to BetUS to get your bets in.

Kyrie Irving

Los Angeles Lakers+175
Los Angeles Clippers+300
Miami Heat+400
Atlanta Hawks+700
San Antonio Spurs+900
Memphis Grizzlies+1000
Philadelphia 76ers+1000
Oklahoma City Thunder+1400

Another superstar that will draw a lot of attention is Kyrie Irving.

Irving was traded to the Dallas Mavericks from the Brooklyn Nets at last year’s trade deadline. The Mavericks didn’t perform well enough to make the playoffs, and now Irving is an unrestricted free agent.

Luka Doncic runs the offense in Dallas, so having another ball handler isn’t necessary for the Mavericks.

I fully expect Irving to sign with a new team, and the 2023 NBA free agency betting odds have the Lakers as the favorites to land him.

Los Angeles would be a perfect fit for Irving. He would be able to reunite with LeBron James and Anthony Davis rounds out a great Big 3. Russell Westbrook never succeeded with the Lakers, but you can attribute a lot of that to spacing.

Irving is a great shooter, which meshes well with LeBron and Davis. The real question is, can the Lakers afford him?

The Clippers and Heat aren’t too far behind the Lakers in the odds list, so they could also be realistic landing spots for the point guard.

Draymond Green

Sacramento Kings+200
Phoenix Suns+300
Portland Trail Blazers+400
Dallas Mavericks+500
Los Angeles Lakers+600
Los Angeles Clippers+700
Utah Jazz+1200
Detroit Pistons+1400

Draymond Green is opting out of his current contract with the Warriors. It’s hard to imagine the Warriors not re-signing Green, but they have the least amount of cap space in the NBA for the 2023-24 season.

Green is a four-time NBA champion, so maybe he prefers the money in the later stages of his career. He may not put up jaw-dropping stat lines every game, but he’s a very valuable player.

The 33-year-old is a good passer and defender. Yes, he punched Jordan Poole in the face last year, but he’s still a vocal leader that could add experience to a team in need.

Draymond Green’s free agency odds favor Sacramento, followed by Phoenix, Portland, and Dallas. Rounding out the top eight are the Lakers, Clippers, Jazz, and Pistons.

The Kings have many offensive weapons, including De’Aaron Fox, Domantas Sabonis, Keegan Murray, and others. They could use a player like Draymond to help out on defense and do all the little things.

Khris Middleton

Dallas Mavericks+400
Sacramento Kings+500
Houston Rockets+600
Memphis Grizzlies+700
Miami Heat+700
Portland Trail Blazers+1000
Orlando Magic+1000
Washington Wizards+1000

Another player that opted out of their current contract is Khris Middleton.

The Bucks’ star forward had $40.4 million sitting on the table but decided to hit the open market. This was a somewhat surprising decision, considering he’s coming off a down season and is on the wrong side of 30.

Middleton was making his way back from knee surgery last year, so it’s not a huge surprise that he didn’t play as well. Middleton could demand a lucrative contract now that he should be back to full strength.

The 2023 NBA free agency betting odds have the Mavericks favored to land the 31-year-old.

As I mentioned earlier, Luka Doncic is the primary ball handler for Dallas. Middleton would be a great fit and could help take the pressure off Doncic with his ability to shoot.

Sacramento and Houston could both use a forward like Middelton as well.

Fred VanVleet

Houston Rockets+150
Miami Heat+600
Chicago Bulls+700
Philadelphia 76ers+700
Boston Celtics+800
Los Angeles Lakers+800
Orlando Magic+900
San Antonio Spurs+900

The NBA free agency prop bets continue with Fred VanVleet, who also opts out of his contract with Toronto.

VanVleet is a solid point guard, which a lot of teams could use. Houston is all over the free agency NBA odds, and they are favored to land VanVleet by a solid margin.

Houston is also a heavy favorite to land James Harden. I’m a bit surprised by the 2023 NBA free agency odds for VanVleet, especially since Houston would likely sign one or the other. I won’t complain, though, as this just creates a lot of betting value in the other options.

The Miami Heat came up short in the NBA Finals, so they could be motivated to add more to their lineup before next season.

VanVleet would join his former Raptors teammate Kyle Lowry, who is owed over $29 million for 2023-24.

That could make teams like Chicago, Philadelphia, or Los Angeles more intriguing.

Best Bets for 2023 NBA Free Agency

  • James Harden to Sign with the Phoenix Suns (+1200)
  • Kyrie Irving to Sign with the San Antonio Spurs (+900)
  • Draymond Green to Sign with the Portland Trail Blazers (+400)
  • Khris Middleton to Sing with the Memphis Grizzlies (+700)

If you’re going to bet on the 2023 NBA free agency, it’s important to make sure you’re getting enough value. Predicting NBA free agency moves isn’t exactly easy. You should feel rewarded if you nail your picks.

That’s why I’m not interested in the James Harden free agency odds for him to go to Houston. The odds of that happening are likely, but I’m not intrigued by a -400 price tag. Instead, I’m taking a risk with the Phoenix Suns at +1200.

Phoenix added Bradley Beal to their already stacked lineup with Devin Booker and Kevin Durant. They lost Chris Paul in the process, which means they could need someone to be a shot creator.

That’s where Harden comes in. The NBA is all about super teams nowadays, and Phoenix could take their team over the top by adding Harden.

Kyrie Irving is a bit of a wildcard, so I’m also going with a longshot here. Gregg Popovich loves Kyrie, and pairing him with Wembanyama would certainly be interesting.

Draymond Green’s free agency odds aren’t as rewarding as Harden’s and Irving’s, but I like the fit with Sacramento. I’d be surprised if the Warriors can’t re-sign him, but maybe he’s ready to walk away.

I’m not sure which team will pay Middleton more than $40 million a year, but he is a solid player. Memphis is letting Dillon Brooks go, which means they could use a small forward.

Make sure you look at all of the available NBA free agency prop bets at BetUS. You can bet on other players, like Damian Lillard, Brook Lopez, Kyle Kuzma, Russell Westbrook, and more.

2023 NBA Free Agency Predictions

  • James Harden to the Suns
  • Kyrie Irving to the Spurs
  • Draymond Green to the Trail Blazers
  • Khris Middleton to the Grizzlies
  • Fred VanVleet to the Lakers
  • Brook Lopez to the Warriors
  • Dillon Brooks to the Mavericks
  • Kyle Kuzma to the Heat
  • Jerami Grant to the Pistons
  • Russell Westbrook to the Thunder

Making 2023 NBA free agency predictions can be difficult if you do it just for one player. It might be easier to map out the entire free agent class to understand better who fits where.

A lot of these moves will also correspond with one another. For example, if James Harden signs with the Rockets, it’s unlikely they also add Fred VanVleet.

When you make your own predictions, be sure to keep this in mind.

I’m sticking with all my picks I made earlier.
They are risky bets, but they also have serious upside.

Fred VanVleet is going to be a tough player to predict. Los Angeles could use a point guard like him, and he shouldn’t be as expensive as James Harden or Kyrie Irving.

Brook Lopez has become one of the best three-point shooting centers in the NBA. It’s only right that he joins the Golden State Warriors, who are known for their long-range shooting. They also lack size in the paint, and Lopez could also help in that area.

Some of my other NBA free agent predictions include Dillon Brooks to Dallas, Kyle Kuzma to Miami, and Jerami Grant to Detroit.

Russell Westbrook’s post-Thunder career hasn’t been great. Maybe he heads back home to help lead a very young but promising roster.

I’ve already pointed you to an awesome sportsbook in BetUS (where I found the aforementioned odds), but Bovada is another great option that also is offering some 2023 NBA free agency props.

You can take my 2023 NBA free agency predictions and head there to place some bets, as well.

Advice for Betting on the 2023 NBA Free Agency

The 2023 NBA free agency odds offer a ton of value. Predicting who signs where is not easy, but it is very rewarding. Be sure to cast your predictions on the top sites before these players sign their contracts.

Of all my 2023 NBA free agency predictions, my favorite is for Kyrie Irving to sign with the Spurs (+900).

Gregg Popovich loves Kyrie, and pairing him with Victor Wembanyama would be rather exciting.

You can make the argument for Irving to join just about any team, but I find the Spurs to be an underrated option, especially at their current price.
