Joe Thomas will represent the Cleveland Browns, while Darrell Revis and Joe Klecko will represent the New York Jets. Other players joining them include Ronde Barber, Don Coryell, Chuck Howley, Ken Riley, Zach Thomas, and DeMarcus Ware.

The New York Jets and Cleveland Browns are both historic franchises. They are also both coming off rather mediocre seasons but have high hopes for 2023. Yes, it’s just a preseason game, but both teams will try to start the year off on the right foot.

Last year, the Las Vegas Raiders rolled the Jacksonville Jaguars 27-11. Will this year’s game end in another double-digit win?

Deshaun Watson will have a full offseason under his belt with the Browns. He was rusty last year, so more game reps would likely help him iron out his skills. However, there’s a good chance he doesn’t suit up at all.

As you can probably tell, this will mostly be a battle of the backups. Tons of players will be fighting for a roster spot, so I expect to see some entertaining football.

The Browns are favored to win but by a very small margin. This should be a close game, which should be very fun.

Although I’m not intrigued by Zach Wilson’s 2023 NFL MVP odds, I do think he can help lead his team to a win in the Hall of Fame Game.
