If you’re looking for where to bet on the NFL Combine, you’re in luck. I’ll be providing you with five of my top bets for 2024, along with the best site for the odds below!
Fastest 40-Yard Dash Under 4.27 Seconds (-120)
The 40-yard dash is where a lot of athletes put themselves on the map. They can boost their draft stock significantly by looking like the next Tyreek Hill, or proving they can run with guys like him.
John Ross broke the record in 2017 with a 4.22 second 40-yard dash. He was projected to be a second or third-round pick that year, but ended up going ninth overall to the Cincinnati Bengals.
There are some players with elite speed in this draft class, including Troy Franklin, Xavier Worthy, Jermaine Burton, and more.
In the last 10 years, five players have run a 4.26 or faster. Four more players have had a time of 4.27 or 4.28, which gives us a good idea of how many players tend to come close to this time. It’s not a guarantee by any means, but the NFL Combine odds still have good value.

Highest Vertical Jump Under 43.5 Inches (+105)
Another one of the biggest events at the NFL Combine is the vertical jump. It’s a huge bonus for players to be able to outjump their competition and make tough catches high in the air. Scouts are always looking for big-play ability, so some players will be trying to stand out in the vertical jump.
That said, I will be betting on the under for this event. There are certainly going to be some players who come very close to the 43.5-inch benchmark set for this prop, but it’s not going to be easy for them to get to 44 inches.
Chris Conley (2015) and Donald Washington (2009) share the record for the vertical jump at a whopping 45 inches, while six others have jumped higher than 43.5. Quan Martin had a 44-inch jump in 2023, but nobody passed 43.5 in 2022 or 2021.

The reason why I’m taking the under is not because I seriously doubt the jumping ability of this draft class. It’s more about the way the NFL Combine betting odds are set for this prop. Bovada has -145 odds for the over, but the under has a +105 price.
I find the under to be more appealing, especially since this isn’t a consistent yearly occurrence. If you think there’s a chance that there’s a freakish outlier this year, I recommend betting on the record to be broken with +300 odds at Bovada.
Longest Broad Jump Higher Than 11’5 (-135)
The other jumping drill is the broad jump, which I ironically will be betting on the over for. Bovada has set the line at 11’5, which is a bit easier for players to reach than 44 inches for the high jump. For this drill, 12 players have jumped 11’6 or higher in recent history.
Byron Jones is the outlier for this event. He pulled off an incredible 12’3 jump back in 2015. The second-place finisher for this event is a three-way tie between Emanuel Hall (2019), Juan Thornhill (2019), and Obi Melifonwu (2017), who all jumped 11’9.

It’s difficult to gauge how certain players will perform in the broad jump. However, it’s supposed to measure their explosiveness, and there are plenty of players that are explosive in this year’s draft class.
Considering the odds and how frequently a player jumps over 11’6, the over seems like a great bet.
Most Bench Press Reps Under 40 (-135)
The bench press is one of those events where NFL Combine participants show us that they aren’t average humans. Only 0.4% of the population can bench press 225 lbs, while these players are not only doing it for once, but they are racking it up.
Stephen Paea has the record, which he set with an absurd 49 reps in 2011. It seems as if there has been less attention on the bench press in recent years as well. Only 11 players in total have hit 41 or more reps, but it’s been three years since the last player hit 40+.
Netane Muti hit 44 in 2020, and Andrew Vorhees came close last year with 38, which he did shortly after tearing his ACL.

The top 25 finishers have at least 37 repetitions for the bench press, but only four of them have happened in 2020 or later. There’s aways a chance that there’s an outlier, or maybe the strength coaches put more focus on the bench press in this year than in recent memory.

Fastest 20-Yard Shuttle Over 3.88 Seconds (-130)
When it comes to 2024 NFL Combine prop bets, it’s unlikely that everyone’s rushing to bet on the 20-yard shuttle. However, this could be one of the best props of the year considering it has a great price for either option and some pretty interesting data.
As for my recommended bet, I will be taking the under for this one as well. I know it may seem like I’m just doubting the players in this draft class at this point, but stay with me.
Brandin Cooks (2014) and Jason Allen (2006) share the record at 3.81. They are closely followed by Bobby McCain (2015) at 3.82, B.W. Webb (2013) at 3.84, and Justin Simmons (2016) and Desmond Trufant (2013), who both have 3.85.
As you can see, we haven’t had a player beat 3.88 since 2016. Jaxon Smith-Njigba came the closest last season, but he was up at 3.93 seconds.
Any player can stand out as the top finisher in any drill, but it’s rare to see someone finish below 3.88 in the 20-yard shuttle. That’s what makes this one of the top NFL Scouting Combine props for 2024.

Out of all these 2024 NFL Combine prop bets, my favorite has to be for the 40-yard dash. This is always the biggest event of the year, and I’ll be betting on the fastest runner to be under 4.27 seconds.
The NFL Combine odds for this prop have a good amount of value at -120, and recent history suggests that there’s a decent chance for someone to beat that time in 2024.
