The UFC Fight Night 239 odds are the main reason why I think you should pay special attention to the March 16 event. They’re very attractive for almost every matchup on the fight card.

Of course, UFC Fight Night odds are only good if the bet wins, which is where I step in. In this breakdown I will share with you my top UFC Fight Night picks, explaining why each of them is likely to win.

Tai Tuivasa lost his last three fights. If he loses another one, he might not ever bounce back. But I don’t think he’s going to lose. To beat Tuivasa, you need to be an elite heavyweight, which I don’t think Marcin Tybura is.

What’s important to notice is that all three of these guys have a significant reach advantage over Tuivasa. For example, Pavlovich has nine-inch longer arms than him. Meanwhile, Tybura’s reach is just three inches longer than Tuivasa’s.

That said, I doubt Tybura can keep Tuivasa at a distance. And if Bam Bam gets close to him, he’s going to launch a strike that’s going to put the Polish fighter to sleep.

I’m pretty confident that Bam Bam will flat Tybura in the UFC Vegas 88 headliner, given that 13 of his 14 wins happened by knockout or technical knockout.

On top of that, five of Tybura’s eight losses happened this way.

Bryan Barberena is also nicknamed Bam Bam, but unlike New Zealand’s Bam Bam, I don’t think he’s going to win on March 16. For the fourth time in a row, he’s fighting against a relatively big favorite.

Gerald Meerschaert’s UFC Fight Night 239 odds are -195 at Bovada, which I think is a very good deal given that he’s exactly the kind of fighter who can ragdoll Barberena.

He’s a former light heavyweight fighter, while Barberena is fighting his only second middleweight fight, after spending 14 years in the welterweight and lightweight divisions.

There you have it, my top UFC Fight Night predictions. As you can see, I’m backing favorites in most fights. The only exception is Pannie Kianzad, who’s an underdog with the UFC Fight Night 239 betting odds of +140.

Although I wouldn’t recommend putting too much money on her, I do think she’s got what it takes to stage an upset against Chiasson who hasn’t fought since 2022.

Not convinced about my UFC predictions for this event? That’s fair, but it’s worth mentioning that my UFC 299 picks went 10-3.

A thing to remember about UFC Fight Nights is that favorites usually tend to win in these sorts of events.

In the UFC Fight Night: Rozenstruik vs. Gaziev, for example, we saw betting favorites win in seven of 11 fights. One of those was Bigi Boy’s win over Gaziev, which, in my opinion, was no surprise.

Fast-forward to March 16, and I think we’ll see even more favorites winning. The two favorites I’m almost certain will do it are Tuivasa and Meerschaert, so I might not be crazy to put them together in a parlay.
