  • Defending champ Mathieu van der Poel has the shortest 2024 Paris Roubaix odds (+150) at BetUS.
  • Last month’s Milan-San Remo winner, Jasper Philipsen, is the second-favorite to triumph on April 7.
  • Stefan Kung is one of the top Paris Roubaix sleepers as he usually does very well in this race.

The 2024 Paris Roubaix odds suggest that the third Monument race of the year is going to be an incredibly exciting affair. The who’s who of road cycling is coming to France this coming weekend, including some real experts for one-day races.

Mathieu van der Poel definitely falls under this category, the evidence being that he’s the defending Paris Roubaix champion. The winner of the 2022 event Dylan Van Baarle will also be there, along with many other elite riders.

BetUS is the sports betting site whose 2024 Paris Roubaix odds you can see in the table above. All of them come in the plus-money form, meaning that there isn’t a clear favorite to win the race on Sunday.

Defending champion Mathieu van der Poel is at the top of the list of the top favorites with the 2024 Paris Roubaix odds of +150. Just behind him is Jasper Philipsen with +350 odds, followed by Mads Pedersen at +650.

Those three are the only riders with the 2024 Paris Roubaix odds shorter than +1000. This, however, isn’t a guarantee that one of them will win. On the contrary, surprises do happen in Monument races, so you definitely shouldn’t disregard other competitors.

Whether you wish to back the top favorites or some of the sleepers, my advice is to do it at BetUS Sportsbook. Not only are odds great, but there are many other reasons to sign up to this gambling site as you can learn in our BetUS review.

One of those reasons is the 200% crypto bonus for new players, through which you can get up to $3,750 in sports bonus credits.

Why Mathieu Van Der Poel Is the Betting Favorite

With the 2024 Paris Roubaix odds of +150 at BetUS, Mathieu van der Poel is the betting favorite to win Sunday’s Monument.

The main reason is that he’s already done it once.

He did it last year, when we also saw him win a few other one-day races, most notably, Milan-San Remo, World Road Race Championships, and Super 8 Classic. The same year he won the five-day Tour of Belgium

It was a great year for the Dutchman, but I suspect he might do even better in 2024. He started the new season in top gear, winning the Tour of Flanders on the last day of March.

He also competed in the 2024 Milan-San Remo race in mid-March, finishing in 10th place. The race was won by Jasper Philipsen, whom most of the top online sports betting sites see as the No. 2 Paris Roubaix favorite.

Top 2024 Paris Roubaix Contenders

Along with the main favorite Mathieu Van Der Poel, there are two other riders with the 2024 Paris Roubaix odds shorter than +1000.

If you’re looking for a bit more value that has a realistic shot at paying off, I’d start with Jasper Philipsen or Mads Pederson.

Jasper Philipsen (+350)

The 26-year-old Belgian is having the season of his life. In March, he achieved arguably the biggest success of his professional career by winning the Milan-San Remo race.

Just four days later, he won the Classic Brugge–De Panne. He then decided to skip the Tour of Flanders so that he could prepare better for the Paris Roubaix race.

Mads Pedersen (+650)

Mads Pedersen is a classics specialist, but he’s never won any of the spring classics. He did, however, do okay in the Milan-San Remo race last month by finishing fourth. This year, however, he did amazing in stage races, winning the Tour de la Provence and Étoile de Bessèges.

My Favorite Sleeper Pick

Stefan Kung is my top sleeper pick because this guy always shows up in one-day races. In fact, he finished in the Top 10 in the previous two Paris Roubaix events.

Last year, he finished fifth, while two years ago, he won the No. 3 place. On both occasions, he finished just some milliseconds behind Wout van Aert, who is expected to miss this year’s Paris Roubaix.

Kung is a fine athlete, who, with a bit of luck, could win his first-ever classic. Although I understand this scenario isn’t too likely to happen, I do think that he’s a good bet, especially given that his odds are very attractive – he’s priced at +4000 at most US betting sites such as BetUS Sportsbook.

2024 Paris Roubaix Odds Prediction

Even though Mathieu van der Poel looks like the obvious pick, my prediction is that Jasper Philipsen will win the 2024 Paris Roubaix.

While van der Poel might have some other events on his mind (e.g., Grand Tours), for Philipsen, this is the most important race right now. I’m sure he’ll give his utmost on Sunday as he did in the Milan-San Remo race, which he won a few weeks ago.

He’s priced at +350 at BetUS, but you can find similar odds at some other online bookmakers. BetUS is the site I’d suggest you go with, but if you’re looking to differntisate, you may want to consider some of the betting sites that provide many of which are offering interesting sportsbook promos.

2024 Giro d’Italia Odds & Prediction

The 2024 Giro d’Italia odds at BetUS suggest Tadej Pogacar will be the one to win the pink jersey. Geraint Thomas looks like Pogacar’s main rival for the title with the 2024 Giro odds of +450. Lennard Kamna isn’t a good bet to win, but offers...
