NFL Brazil Game Point Spread
- Green Bay Packers +1.5 (-110)
- Philadelphia Eagles -1.5 (-110)
Here are the Packers vs. Eagles odds for their Week 1 matchup. The oddsmakers aren’t favoring one side too heavily, which makes sense considering how far in the future this game is.
That said, the Philadelphia Eagles are the slight favorites to win at -1.5.

Last season the Eagles covered in seven of their 18 total games (43.8%), which ranked as the 10th worst in the NFL. Green Bay covered in 11 of their 19 games (57.9%), which had them as the eighth best team in the league.
Despite these figures, the Packers vs. Eagles betting odds still favor Philadelphia by less than a field goal. Head over to Bovada now to place your bets on the spread!
Moneyline Odds for the NFL Brazil Game
- Green Bay Packers (EVEN)
- Philadelphia Eagles (-120)
Here are the Packers vs. Eagles Week 1 odds for the moneyline. The spread and moneyline bets aren’t all that different in general, and that applies even more so when the game is projected to be very close.
Again, the Eagles have the slight edge at -120, but you get an even return when betting on the Packers. The odds for this game shouldn’t sway your decision-making process, so be sure to choose the team that you think has a better chance to win right now.
Point Total for Packers vs. Eagles
- Over 48.5 (-110)
- Under 48.5 (-110)
We don’t have Packers vs. Eagles odds for prop bets just yet, but we do have the point total.
The line has been set at 48.5, which means this game has a good chance to be high-scoring. Philadelphia and Green Bay were actually the seventh and eighth highest scoring teams in the NFL last season, respectively.
The Eagles churned out 24.6 points per contest, while the Packers scored 23.8. Green Bay also got better as the season progressed, and their young offense should be even sharper in 2024. The Eagles lost Jason Kelce to retirement over the offseason, but they still have tons of talent on the offensive side of the ball.
It’s still very early, but the Packers vs. Eagles Week 1 odds could also shift over the next few months. There’s a chance that the total climbs into the 50s, which means it could be a good idea to place your bets on the over right now.
Why Are the Eagles the Favorites?
Philadelphia boast one of the best rosters in the NFL, with superstars at nearly every position.
Their offense consists of players like Jalen Hurts, A.J Brown, DeVonta Smith, Lane Johnson, and more. Just when you thought they couldn’t fit anymore superstars on their team, they decided to sign former Giants’ running back, Saquon Barkley.
They already had a ferocious running attack led by Jalen Hurts (15 rushing touchdowns in 2023), but now it’s even better. Another big change that happened over the offseason was that the Eagles hired a new offensive coordinator in Kellen Moore.

Moore was a head coaching candidate in years past, but now he will try and help the Eagles offense be more consistent. He’s also not the only new coordinator in town. Vic Fangio will take over the defense and he has a lot of pieces to work with.
Darius Slay, James Bradberry, Chauncey Gardner-Johnson, Jalen Carter, Bryce Huff, and others will contribute massively for the defense.
Talent was never the issue with the Philadelphia Eagles, but it was clear that they needed some sort of change. Will Nick Sirianni’s new coordinator hires take this team to the next level? The Packers vs. Eagles NFL Brazil odds believe that they will have the upper hand in this matchup by a slight margin.
Keys to a Packers Upset Win
My NFL Brazil game preview continues with the keys to a Packers’ upset. Although the Eagles brought in some new coordinators and players, there’s no guarantee that their issues from last season will be resolved. That could open up the door for a Green Bay win.
Jordan Love took this young Packers team to the NFC Divisional Round last year and barely came up short against the 49ers. With a full season under his belt as the starter, he could take yet another step forward.
Green Bay’s offense has several different contributors, including Romeo Doubs, Christian Watson, Jayden Reed, Dontayvion Wicks, and others. They also made a surprising move over the offseason to replace fan-favorite RB Aaron Jones with Josh Jacobs.
Matt LaFleur is one of the top offensive coaches in the NFL and his team will be ready for the challenge in Brazil. Defensive consistency has been a thorn in Green Bay’s back, but they have brought in Jeff Hafley to be the new coordinator on that side of the ball.
The Packers have defensive contributors on all three levels, including their newest addition, Xavier McKinney. Green Bay also has 11 draft picks to work with, and five within the top 100. Whatever roster issues they may currently have, they can solve during the NFL Draft.
The Packers vs. Eagles betting odds aren’t heavily Philadelphia by a significant amount, but Green Bay is still technically the underdog. Despite that, the Packers have a good chance to win and a slightly better return on your investment with +100 odds.
Best Bet for Eagles vs. Packers in Week 1
- Over 48.5 (-110)
So, what’s the best Packers vs. Eagles pick for Week 1? It’s still incredibly early, but there’s also a chance that the NFL Brazil game odds shift dramatically after the draft. That could mean that the best time to place your bets is right now.
Green Bay is loaded with draft picks, and Philadelphia can iron out their roster with their new rookies as well. You also can’t rule out trades, veteran additions, and injuries over the next few months.
That being said, I find the over to be the most appealing bet right now. These two teams are centered around their offenses, despite them both having a lot of talent on the defensive side of the ball.
Kellen Moore could take the Eagles to the next level, and the addition of Saquon Barkley makes their offense that much scarier. Vic Fangio is a defensive wizard, but Jordan Love and the Packers should still be able to put up a healthy amount of points.
What better way to start the NFL season in Brazil with an exciting shootout between these two Super Bowl hopeful teams? If you plan on betting on the game, be sure to only use the best offshore sportsbooks.
Winner Prediction for NFL Brazil Game 2024
The 2024 NFL season couldn’t get here any faster. We still have a long way to go until this game kicks off, but we don’t have to wait to place our bets. As I mentioned earlier, there’s a chance the NFL Brazil game odds shift over the next few months, which means it might be better to place your bets before that happens.
My early Packers vs. Eagles prediction is for the point total to be over 48.5. I’m hoping for a shootout and these teams definitely have the firepower to make it happen. You can tag along with my pick, or make your own by visiting Bovada.
That concludes my NFL Brazil game preview for now. If you are looking for more ways to bet over the offseason, check out these 10 NFL Draft prop bets.
