The 2024 CMA Awards odds are out at online sportsbooks. Country’s biggest stars will gather to celebrate the best artists in the industry, promising a memorable night of great music and entertaining personalities.

My 2024 CMA Awards predictions runs down who oddsmakers think will win, the best bets, and my full predictions for who is going home with an awards trophy.

Odds for the 2024 CMA Awards

BetUS has odds for all the leading categories at the CMAs, including Album of the Year, Single of the Year, and Entertainer of the Year.

Betting on entertainment markets has become popular in recent years, allowing fans to test their pop culture knowledge and potentially win big. So if you know your country music, why not throw some money down and make the CMAs a little more interesting?

2024 CMA Album of the Year Odds

  • Chris Stapleton — Higher (-300)
  • Luke Combs — Fathers & Sons (+300)
  • Jelly Roll — Whitsitt Chapel (+500)
  • Kacey Musgraves — Deeper Well (+500)
  • Cody Johnson — Leather (+500)

Chris Stapelton’s Higher (-300) is the odds-on favorite for Album of the Year, but that’s not a guarantee by any means. Fathers & Sons by Luke Combs (+300) reached #2 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart, while Kacey Musgraves’ Deeper Well (+500)  sold 66,000 albums in its first week alone.

Primarily known as a rapper, Jelly Roll burst onto the country music scene with Whitsitt Chapel (+500); an album some critics have deemed the album of the year. Rounding out the nominees is Cody Johnson’s Leather (+500), which topped out at #18 on the Billboard 200.

Odds for CMA Single of the Year

  • Chris Stapleton — White Horse (-300)
  • Lainey Wilson — Watermelon Moonshine (+350)
  • Post Malone ft. Morgan Wallen — I Had Some Help (+400)
  • Cody Johnson — Dirt Cheap (+400)
  • Shaboozey – A Bar Song (Tipsy) (+500)

It shouldn’t surprise you that three of the five Single of the Year Nominees come from Album of the Year nominees. White Horse by Chris Stapleton (-300) leads the way, followed by Lainey Wilson’s single Watermelon Moonshine (+350).

Another rapper-turned-country star, Post Malone’s I Had Some Help (+400) is right behind, bolstered by the appearance of Entertainer of the Year nominee Morgan Wallen. Cody Johnson lands his second nomination with Leather’s Dirty Cheap (+400).

Crossover artist Shaboozey’s A Bar Song (Tipsy) (+500) is a strong contender.

Even though it has the longest odds in the category, don’t be fooled; the song knocked off Beyoncé’s Texas Hold ‘Em for number one the Billboard Country Charts, after all.

2024 CMA Musician of the Year Odds

  • Rob McNelley (+150)
  • Jenee Fleenor (+200)
  • Charlie Worsham (+280)
  • Paul Franklin (+300)
  • Tom Bukovac (+300)

The Musician of the Year award highlights artists with a strong command over their instruments.

Rob McNelley (+150) has the shortest odds to win, and why not? He is a three-time Academy of Country Music Guitar Player of the Year Winner. Fiddle player Jenee Fleenor (+200) isn’t far behind McNelley, followed closely by former Old Crow Medicine Show member and current Dierks Bentley touring band member Charlie Worsham (+280).

Steel guitarist Paul Franklin (+300) is also nominated, and with a resume that includes stints with Vince Gill, Alan Jackson, and Kenny Rogers, it’s no wonder why. Tom Bukovac (+300) is a Nashville-based guitarist that has appeared on more than 1,200 albums, and has won the Academy of Country Music Guitar Player of the Year award four times; one more than fellow nominee Rob McNelley.

Odds for Who Will Win Entertainer of the Year

  • Lainey Wilson (-300)
  • Morgan Wallen (+300)
  • Jelly Roll (+500)
  • Luke Combs (+500)
  • Chris Stapleton (+500)

The CMA Entertainer of the Year award is the CMA’s highest honor, recognizing the artist that “displays the greatest competence in all aspects of the entertainment field.”

2023 award winner Lainey Wilson (-300) is the favorite to win the category at BetUS, with Morgan Wallen next in line at (+300).

You shouldn’t be surprised to see Jelly Roll (+500) here either, as the singer not only took the country world by storm, but has also testified before congress, performed on Saturday Night Live, and even appeared at WWE SummerSlam 2024.

Luke Combs (+500) is also contender, thanks to his Album of the Year nominee record Father’s & Sons. Chris Stapleton (+500) would dearly love to win the award, as he holds the record for most Entertainer of the Year nominations without winning at seven.

2024 CMA Vocal Group of the Year Odds

  • Old Dominion (-300)
  • The Red Clay Strays (+300)
  • Zac Brown Band (+400)
  • Little Big Town (+500)
  • Lady A (+500)

Old Dominion (-300) is looking to win the Vocal Group of the Year award for the seventh year running, as they’ve won the award every year since 2018. The Red Clay Strays (+300) hope to end Old Dominion’s streak, as does the Zac Brown Band (+400). The Zac Brown Ban in particular wants it, as the group has been nominated a record-breaking 12 times without a win.

Little Big Town (+500) won the award every year from 2012–2017, and have been nominated every year since. Lady A (+500) won it for three years prior to Little Big Town’s Run, and would love to get back to their winning ways.

Odds to Win Male Vocalist of the Year

  • Chris Stapleton (-300)
  • Cody Johnson (+300)
  • Morgan Wallen (+400)
  • Jelly Roll (+500)
  • Luke Combs (+500)

The 2024 Male Vocalist of the Year Category looks a lot like the Album of the Year category. Three-year-running Male Vocalist of the Year winner Chris Stapleton (-300) leads the pack, followed by Cody Johnson (+300), and non-Album of the Year Contender Morgan Wallen (+400).

Jelly Roll (+500) and Luke Combs (+500) are also nominated, so there’s a good chance we’ll see a double winner here.

2024 Female Vocalist of the Year Odds

  • Lainey Wilson (-150)
  • Kacey Musgraves (+250)
  • Ashley McBryde (+350)
  • Kelsea Ballerini (+375)
  • Megan Moroney (+400)

Lainey Wilson (-150) is looking to win her third consecutive Female Vocalist of the Year award, and the odds say she has a good chance to do just that. 2019 winner Kacey Musgraves (+250) has the next best odds, followed by Ashley McBryde (+350) — who was nominated for the last four years running, but has yet to win.

Kelsea Ballerini (+375) was nominated last year, and Megam Moroney (+400) is a first-time nominee and was also nominated for New Artist of the Year and Song of the Year in 2023.

Best Bets for the 2024 CMAs

  • Lainey Wilson to win Female Vocalist of the Year (-150) – Bet Now
  • Old Dominion to win Vocal Group of the Year (-300) – Bet Now

If you’re looking for a safe bet at the 2024 CMA Awards, I’d go with Lainey Wilson to win Female Vocalist of the Year (-150) and Old Dominion to Win Vocal Group of the Year (-300).

Lainey Wilson not only has won the award for the last two years, but she’s also nominated for Single and Entertainer of the Year as well — plus she’s co-hosting the show itself. Simply put, the Country Music Association loves her, and for good reason. And at (-150), successfully betting $20 on her to win would return a cool $13.33, for a total payout of $33.33.

Old Dominion to win Vocal Group of the Year has shorter odds at (-300), so a $20 bet would return $6.67 for a payout of $26.67. But a win is a win, and since the group has won the award for the last six years, it’s easy to imagine them winning a seventh.

2024 CMA Awards Sleeper Picks

  • Post Malone ft. Morgan Wallen — I Had Some Help to win Single of the Year(+400) – Bet Now
  • Chris Stapleton to win Entertainer of the Year (+500) – Bet Now

Post Malone and Morgan Wallen’s I Had Some Help (+400) was a juggernaut in 2024. The song broke Spotify’s single-day country streaming record, with nearly 14,000,000 streams on its first day alone — while also debuting at No. 1 on the platform’s Global Daily Chart.

The song has been stuck in my head ever since it was released, and I know I’m not the only one. That’s why I Had Some Help to win Single of the Year is my number one sleeper pick at the 2024 CMA Awards.

Successfully betting $20 on the song at (+400) to win would return $80, for a total payout of $100.

Chris Stapleton (+500) holds the record for most Entertainer of the Year nominations without winning at seven. He’s the odds-on favorite to win Album of the Year, Single of the Year, and Male Vocalist of the Year, so there’s a good chance his losing streak comes to an end.

And at (+500) you would win $100 on a $20 bet for a total of $120 if you bet correctly on him.

My 2024 CMA Awards Predictions

  • Luke Combs’ Father & Sons to win Album of the Year
  • I Had Some Help by Post Malone ft. Morgan Wallen to win Single of the Year
  • Jenee Fleenor to win Musician of the Year
  • Chris Stapleton to win Entertainer of the Year
  • Old Dominion to win Vocal Group of the Year
  • Jelly Roll to win Male Vocalist of the Year
  • Lainey Wilson to win Female Vocalist of the Year

You can chase value all you want, but at the end of the day, only one singer is going to win each individual award. I do think there’s a time and place to try to get a little more bang for your buck, but I prefer to simply bet on winners.

CMA Awards betting odds aside, the above list is who I think will win each major award this year. You can roll with my 2024 CMA Awards winner predictions, or just go with your gut.

Betting on the 2024 CMA Awards

There’s a lot to like about betting on the 2024 CMA Awards.

I wouldn’t bet against Chris Stapleton this year, and since BetUS has his odds to win his first Entertainer of the Year award at (+500) there is a huge potential to win. I’d personally take that sleeper bet.

Old Dominion to win Vocal Group of the Year (-300) is a safe-ish bet, as is Lainey Wilson to win Female Vocalist of the Year (-150).

For a sleeper bet I’d go with I Had Some Help by Post Malone and Morgan Wallen at (+400) to win Single of the Year , or even Shaboozey’s A Bar Song (Tipsy) at (+500).

BetUS has you covered for CMA Awards Show Betting, so head there today to potentially win money based on your love and knowledge of country music!
