Methodology
The Jackpot Meter processed data from over 24,000 comments on 126 casino operators in this analysis, allowing us to report on the overall sentiment of US players towards online casinos.
Four key categories were identified:
- Bonuses
- Game Variety
- Customer Service
- Banking
We split positive and negative comments in each one, and assigned them an overall player sentiment. This sentiment is based on whether more than half of reviews mentioning each key factor were positive or negative.
For example: 9,178 player comments mentioning game variety were positive, compared to 1,467 negative. From this, we can confidently state that most online casino users were pleased with the overall game selection at their respective casinos.
Conversely, 1,901 negative comments about bonus terms & conditions were collected, compared to 561 positive comments. This indicates that the majority of players were not satisfied with the terms & conditions of their bonuses.
Using these data points, we are able to report on these categories and pinpoint key components within each category that contributed to their overall score.
What Players Want & Where Online Casinos Stand
