SuperLega odds for the 2025 season winner are up at several volleyball betting sites even though only a few rounds are left before the end.

The reason why this market is still available is that all 12 teams are still in the game for playoffs – and in SuperLega playoffs, anything can happen!

So, who do I think will win? Keep reading to see my prediction, but first things first, let’s see what SuperLega odds suggest.

Odds to Win SuperLega in 2025

Many volleyball betting sites have released SuperLega odds, but it’s MyBookie whose odds seem to provide the most value. This goes especially if you’re planning to back some underdogs.

Volley Civitanova, for example, which is the team that won four of the last seven SuperLega seasons, is seen as a +840 underdog. Then, there’s last season’s runner-up Vero Volley Monza, which is priced at +20000.

Last season’s winner – Perugia Volley – remains the top favorite, but its odds aren’t bad either (-150).

Best SuperLega Betting Site for 2025 MyBookie Sportsbook

MyBookie is your top choice for 2025 SuperLega odds, all of which provide great betting value. This goes not only for the top Italian volleyball league, but also for odds for the Brazilian Super League, French Ligue A, and German 1. Bundesliga.

Apart from offering lucrative volleyball odds, MyBookie also stands out for its bonuses, including the 50% welcome bonus, which can be used for volleyball betting. The same applies to the 100% crypto sports reload bonus, 200% referral bonus, and other deals.

Why is Perugia Volley the Betting Favorite?

Perugia Volley is the No. 1 favorite to win the Italian volleyball gold, with the SuperLega odds of -151.

There are several reasons for this, starting with the fact that Perugia is the defending champion. Another reason is that this team is currently at the very top of the table with 42 points.

While bookies are favoring this team, I’m not convinced they’ll be able to keep the title in their possession. The thing is that Perugia Volley’s players usually don’t do great against tough opposition.

In January 2025, we saw them lose to second-placed Trentino Volley (3:2) and third-placed Volley Civitanova (3:1). Given that the Italian SuperLiga will switch to the playoff format once the regular season is over, it’s very likely that they’ll face those opponents again.

  • Trentino Volley (+126) – Bet Now!
  • Gas Sales Piacenza (+520) – Bet Now!
  • Volley Civitanova (+840) – Bet Now!

My 2025 SuperLega prediction is that the Italian league will get a new champion. But who will it be? Judging by the odds, Trentino Volley is most likely to ruin Perugia’s plans.

I also think that Gas Sales Piacenza mustn’t be underestimated and neither should Volley Civitanova.

Trentino Volley

This team is currently second in the 2025 SuperLega Standings with just two points fewer than Perugia. The boys from Trentino also have a game in hand, meaning that if they win their next match by 3:0 or 3:1, they’ll leapfrog Perugia.

But even if they don’t, they’ll still get to the playoffs. And that’s where they could meet Perugia again. Based on what we saw from their previous duel, Trentino is the better team.

Gas Sales Piacenza

These guys are currently fourth in the standings but can easily challenge for the top spot. Even if they don’t, they’ve got nothing to worry about their playoff future. Regardless of what happens in the closing rounds of the regular season, they will get there.

But what to expect from Gas Sales Piacenza in the 2025 SuperLega Playoffs? The odds suggest they stand a decent chance, but I wouldn’t put too much money on these guys. Instead, I think Volley Civitanova might be a better choice.

Volley Civitanova

Last summer, France won the Olympic gold medal in volleyball. This team’s captain at the Olympics was Barthélémy Chinenyeze, who plays the role of a middle blocker at Volley Civitanova.

He’s not the only volleyball superstar who plays for this team. Fabio Balaso is also there, a libero who’s currently second in the 2025 Volleybox Player Rankings.

With such players on the roster, it’s no surprise that Volley Civitanova has already defeated both Perugia and Trentino – the two teams currently sitting above them in the SuperLega Standings.

My Favorite SuperLega Sleeper – Vero Volley Monza (+20000)

Vero Volley Monza is the team that finished as the runner-up in the previous edition of the Italian SuperLega. In the 2024-25 season, these guys aren’t doing that well.

They’re currently sitting at the very bottom of the table with only 10 points. The closest team from the playoff zone has five points more.

But this doesn’t mean it’s all over for them. They’ve got five more games to play in the regular season, meaning that, in the best-case scenario, they could win as many as 15 points.

The bad news is that their recent form has been horrific (four losses in five games). The good news is that they have some really good players on the roster who love playing big games.

Priced at +20000, Vero Volley Monza looks like a very good bet. Still, I have an even better betting option for you – bet on Monza’s individual matches in the closing rounds of the season.

For example, in the final round of the regular season, they’re taking on Cisterna in what could be a battle for the playoffs.

If you don’t have much confidence in these guys, maybe use some sports bonuses to back them rather than real cash. The odds will probably be longer than +100, so you can use it to try and clear the wagering requirements.

Tips for Betting on SuperLega

If you’re new to volleyball betting, there are some things you should know before placing any SuperLega bets. To improve your chance of winning, my advice is to follow the next couple of tips:

Check Teams’ Performance in Previous Playoffs

The format of the Italian SuperLega is such that 10 of the 12 teams will get to the playoffs. That said, most teams don’t go all-in in the regular season. Instead, they wait to give their utmost in the knockout phase.

This is why it’s important to check the teams’ playoff performances in the previous couple of seasons. Actually, you don’t have to because I’ve already done it – Civitanova, Perugia, and Monza are the teams that tend to show up in the postseason.

Take a Look at Teams’ Rosters

Volleyball is a sport in which individual performances matter a lot. One player can make or break a team. That said, teams with volleyball superstars are bound to do well in crucial games of the season.

So, who are the best players in SuperLega in 2025, and for which teams do they play? Perugia’s Yūki Ishikawa is the man who won the MVP award last season.

He’s a hell of a player, but in 2025, Civitanova’s Fabio Balaso seems to be in better form. Actually, if he continues to play at the same level, I think he’ll be voted the MVP.

Perugia is the reigning champion of the Italian volleyball league. They won the title in 2024, which was only the second time in this club’s history. The first time they became champions was in 2018.

The team with the most titles in the history of this competition is Modena with 12. However, the last time Modena won the volleyball crown was in 2016.

Civitanova is the team that has won the most titles in the SuperLega in the last 10 years. The last time they did it, however, was three years ago. Is it time for them to do it again?

SuperLega 2025 Prediction

  • Volley Civitanova to Win the 2025 Italian SuperLega (+840) – Bet Now!

Who’s going to win the 2025 SuperLega? My prediction is Civitanova because this team’s roster is insanely good.

They’ve got some players who have already proved themselves on the big stage, including Barthélémy Chinenyeze who led the French national team to Olympic gold last year. Plus, Civitanova also has Fabio Balaso on the squad, who I think is the best player in the league.

These guys thrive under pressure, which explains why they’ve already defeated all the top candidates for the title. I’m certain they’ll beat them again in the playoffs.
