This guide highlights the best 2025 Puppy Bowl odds. I will break down the best bets for this year’s game and give my official Puppy Bowl predictions for Team Ruff vs. Team Fluff.

Team Ruff and Team Fluff are a pick’em at BetOnline, but BetUS has Team Fluff as the clear -130 favorite. The total points for this year’s Puppy Bowl are listed at over/under 190.5 points.

There are also odds on the MVP, which puppy scores the winning touchdown, and more.

2025 Puppy Bowl Predictions

Puppy Bowl 21 prop odds are a thrilling way to start your Super Bowl Sunday. Here are my predictions for this year’s event.

Puppy Bowl 21 Winner

Team Ruff-110
Team Fluff-130

One of the most straightforward bets for Puppy Bowl 21 is to bet on which team wins. BetUS has Team Fluff as the -130 favorite, with Team Ruff as a -110 underdog. Team Ruff won last year, but Team Fluff won Puppy Bowls 19 and 18.

This is the 11th Puppy Bowl where the official score will be kept. So far, Ruff and Fluff have each won five times. Team Fluff has won back-to-back twice, and their 93-38 win in Puppy Bowl 13 is the biggest margin of victory so far.

Puppy Bowl 13 is the last time either team won by double digits. I think this year’s event will continue the trend of closely contested games, and I believe Team Ruff will win its second consecutive Puppy Bowl. Team Ruff has gone back-to-back before, but it has been nearly a decade since they accomplished the feat.

Total Points Scored in Puppy Bowl 2025

Over 190.5 points+110
Under 190.5 points-150

Animal lovers can also bet on the total score in Puppy Bowl 2025. The bright minds at BetOnline have the total score set at over/under 190.5 points for this year’s event. The under is the betting favorite at -150, while the over is listed at +110.

The highest-scoring Puppy Bowl was Puppy Bowl 19, which ended with a Team Fluff 87-83 win in overtime. Even with the extra time, Fluff and Ruff only combined for 170 points. They would need to combine for an additional 21 points to cover the over in this bet.

Scoring has gradually increased in the Puppy Bowl over the years, but it would take the highest-scoring game in the history of this event to cover the over. With that in mind, I recommend hammering the under on this wager.

Gender of Puppy Bowl 21 MVP

Male-120
Female-120

Super Bowl MVP is one of the most popular wagers for the Big Game. Not to be outdone, the Puppy Bowl also presents an MVP, the Most Valuable Puppy. BetUS has an exciting prop for the winner of the MVP, with male and female puppies tied at -120 each.

Two of the last three Puppy Bowl MVPs, Moosh (2024) and Kirby (2022), were males. Also, most of the MVPs when Team Ruff wins have been male. I picked Team Ruff to pull off the upset, and I think the trend of male MVPs for Ruff will continue.

Puppy to Score Winning Touchdown

Travis+800
Charles+1000
Mardipaw+1000
Dee-bone Samuel+1200
Sarge+1200
Jason+1200

Touchdown scorer bets are some of the most fun and popular Super Bowl props. There are also TD scorer props for the Puppy Bowl, including this wager for the puppy that scores the winning touchdown.

Travis is the +800 favorite in this market. His counterpart, Taylor Swift’s boyfriend Travis Kelce, is also poised for a big game this weekend. Charles and Mardipaw are tied for the second-best odds at 10-1 each.

The game footage is cut together after hours of playtime, so picking the winning TD scorer is easier said than done. The Super Bowl is in New Orleans, so I think Mardipaw, a Great Pyrenees-Poodle mix, is an excellent option to be picked to score the game-winning touchdown.

1st Letter of Puppy Bowl MVP’s Name

A-J-130
K-Z-110

The Most Valuable Puppy Award is the highest honor a competitor can win in the Puppy Bowl. Rather than betting on individual puppies, BetUS allows you to bet on the first letter of the MVP’s name. Puppies with names starting with A-J are -130 favorites, while K-Z pups are -110 underdogs.

Four straight MVPs have come from the K-Z group, which has the largest selection of letters. Only seven of the 16 starters fall into this group, but I think a puppy in the K-Z group will once again win MVP honors.

Tips for Betting on the Puppy Bowl

The annual Puppy Bowl is one of the biggest events taking place on Super Bowl Sunday. Here are three tips to help you get the most out of betting on the latest Puppy Bowl odds.

Research the Puppies and Watch Previous Puppy Bowls

The Puppy Bowl is far less serious than other sporting events. However, if you are betting on it, then you need to do your research.

The good news is you can watch previous Puppy Bowls to learn more about the scoring and the rules. You can also research every puppy in the event on Discover’s website.

Have Fun Betting on the Puppy Bowl

Entertainment should always be your first priority when betting, especially when wagering on an event like the Puppy Bowl. Unlike the Super Bowl, the Puppy Bowl is not aired live. The “game” is compiled together from hours of footage of the puppies playing.

With that in mind, focusing on the entertainment factor is even more important. Stick to your bankroll, do not wager more than you can afford, and have fun wagering on the annual battle between Team Ruff and Team Fluff.

Recent Puppy Bowl Winners

The first 10 Puppy Bowls had no official winner. In Puppy Bowl 11, the event started keeping score, escalating the rivalry between Team Fluff and Team Ruff.
