Another one of the top awards is for the Best New Artist. There are a lot of artists that put themselves on the map each year. This year is no different, with six nominees in contention.

Leading the pack is Ice Spice, who has over 47 million monthly listeners on Spotify. The 23-year-old has taken over social media in the last year. It’s no surprise that she’s favored to win this award.

Peso Pluma is the second-most favored option in the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards odds. He’s becoming a major star in the Latin music industry, and this would be a great award for him to win.

PinkPantheress is also a top option. Her collaboration with Ice Spice, “Boys a Liar Pt. 2,” went viral and ranked high on several worldwide charts.

Renee Rapp, GloRilla, and Kaliii are rounding out the list, all of which are in the longshot range.

You could say that the Video of the Year is the biggest award at the VMAs, but it also might be Artist of the Year. This award encompasses everything an artist has done in the last year, not just a music video.

There are some major superstars who are nominated in 2023. Taylor Swift is the favorite, yet again. She’s closely followed by Nicki Minaj, who is priced at +100. Beyonce and Shakira are also two global icons that are nominated.

I think “Flowers” by Miley Cyrus is right in the sweet spot here, which is why it’s one of my best 2023 MTV VMAs picks. The betting odds are intriguing enough, and it also has a very strong chance to win.

Anti-Hero is the current favorite, but I’m willing to bet that the voters aren’t going to give Taylor Swift every award this year. Otherwise, it wouldn’t be fair to the other nominees, and it would be rather boring as well.

That said, I think Flowers is seriously underrated here. The music video has 561 million views on YouTube and counting. Anti-Hero has just 155 million views, which is a lot, but it’s certainly not as many as Miley Cyrus’ hit song.

She wrote the song after her famous breakup with actor Liam Hemsworth, which helped the song gain even more attention from the public eye. Simply put, this video should have a strong chance of winning, and I’m surprised the 2023 MTV VMAs odds for it are in positive territory at +150.

My best 2023 MTV VMAs picks will also include Ice Spice winning Best New Artist. The rapper has seen a massive boom in her popularity over the last year. There have been a good amount of new artists, but none of them have become a megastar as quickly as Ice Spice has.

Her betting odds don’t have as much value as my other best bet, but it still has plenty of value and a very high chance of winning.
