Here are the odds for who wins the Arizona Senate race in 2024. As you can see, Ruben Gallego is the current favorite with a -125 price. Kari Lake is his top contender at the moment, but everyone else is a significant step below them.

This bet could have a lot of value if you think there’s a real chance Gallego won’t win, but that’s not what I’ll be doing. In fact, I think he’s a strong bet, and his betting odds are still in a solid range.

He served in Iraq and was a Marine, so he’s been in their shoes. The 43-year-old has already been re-elected three times and has won at least 70% of the vote each time.

Gallego has also raised more money than the current Arizona senator in the first two quarters of 2023.

Considering how well he’s done in recent elections and his current pace, I’d say that Gallego is the best person to bet on for Arizona. His betting odds are in negative territory but still offer enough value.

There are a lot of props that you can bet on that have to do with how much a certain party will win by. It’s not obvious who the winner will be for most states, but they lean heavily to one side for some.

One of those states is Indiana, who has voted red for the presidential elections a considerable amount in the last 44 years. They’ve only been a blue state one time (2008), and there’s a good chance they’ll be red again in 2024.

Now, presidential elections are different from the Senate. Still, the last Democratic winner was in 2012, with the one before that dating all the way back to 1970.

It’s not exactly good business for casinos to offer props for if Indiana is won by Republicans, but there’s another way to bet. You can bet on how wide the victory margin is for Republicans, with the over/under line set at 12.5%.

My bet for this prop is going to be the under. Yes, Republicans have dominated Indiana for a long time. However, the last election was much closer than previous years. Mike Braun won the 2018 race over Joe Donnelly by 5.96%.

Will the Republican side be able to win by more than double this amount in 2024? I’d say that’s a tall ask, making the under my preferred bet.

You can make a 2024 US Senate prediction for certain states, especially ones that should feature closer races than Indiana. I would say that Pennsylvania is one of the most impactful states in the country when it comes to politics.

The state gets 19 votes in the electoral college, which is tied for fifth-most in the country. In fact, it’s one of the biggest reasons why Joe Biden won the last presidential election.

Bob Casey Jr. has been the incumbent US Senator for Pennsylvania since 2007. He has some high-level endorsements, while there has yet to be a Republican to announce they are running. That’s likely to change, but this gives Democrats an advantage.

There are other wagers that have more betting value than -200, but a winning bet is always better than a losing one.

Sure, he has a strong chance of winning, but we want something that has a positive return on our investment. That brings us to Katie Porter (+135) and Barbara Lee (+500). Both of these two options have more betting upside and have decent chances to win.

California also has a “top-two” system, which means the top two candidates will make it to the general election, regardless of political affiliation. Schiff may be the current frontrunner, but Porter will definitely have a fair shot as well.

I would even consider Barbara Lee, who has +500 odds to win the US Senate in 2024. Lee was a champion of LGBT issues and was the author of the 1995 California Schools Hate Crimes Reduction Act.

She was also the only member of Congress to oppose the use of military force after 9/11, citing endless war as a possible outcome. Schiff and Porter have the upper hand against Lee, but she still would make for an intriguing bet in terms of upside.
