Three of his last four fights, including a split decision victory over Storley at Bellator 252 in November 2020, have gone the distance.

Storley might not be the favorite in the latest odds for Bellator 291, but he’s close to his rival, who returns “from the battlefield” to the cage.

Just one day off from being exactly a year, his opponent’s senior, Storley, comes in at 14-1. The sole loss of his career came to Amosov in a fight that was closer than snow is to a polar bear’s fur.

With Amosov out of the picture for two years, the interim champion can get his revenge. He comes into the bout fresh but more experienced. The American has improved so much since that showdown in Connecticut, picking up three wins on the bounce.

Victories over Dante Schiro and Neiman Gracie and a controversial decision win over Michael Page make him about as legit as it gets.
