UK4 Best NBA Player Prop Bets for Sunday
There are quite a few compelling NBA player prop bets for game two of the 2024 NBA Finals. You can certainly build a fun parlay, but as always, my main suggestion is to just pick a group of fun props and target them individually.
Parlays are certainly where the upside lies, but straight bets give you a better chance of cashing regularly. Today I’ll be pushing out my four favorite MLB player props. I’ve done the research for you and pulled the odds from BetUS (read our BetUS review to learn more).
Let’s dive into the best NBA player props available at the top basketball betting sites right now.
Luka Doncic to Score 34+ Points (+119)
Luka Doncic was all by his lonesome in a blowout loss in game one of this series. If Dallas has any hopes of evening the series and making a go of this year’s NBA Finals, he’s probably going to have to be other-wordly.
The good news? We know he can deliver. Doncic has poured in some pretty clutch efforts in the playoffs throughout his young career, and he’s even had some big outings against the Boston Celtics during this particular season.
Is betting on Luka to score 34+ points a safe bet? Apparently with Dallas entering game two as touchdown underdogs, it’s not even a safe bet to bank on them keeping this game close. Of course, if they do end up giving Boston a run for their money, it’s likely they find a way to be competitive and it’s even more likely Doncic has a huge scoring outburst.
Let’s not forget that Doncic had a plenty solid 30 points in the first game, either. I think he comes out with something to prove and forces Dallas into a 1-1 series tie. The Mavs may have a short-lived stay in the Finals when it’s all said and done, but for at least one night, Luka’s playoff greatness will be undeniable.
Jrue Holiday Over 5+ Assists (-148)
Another great NBA player prop bet for game two of the NBA Finals is Jrue to get five or more assists. The beauty with props like these are you don’t actually have to hit the Over. If Jrue ends with five assists, it’s a win.
Holiday admittedly loses a bit of usage with the return of Kristaps Porzingis, but he’s still the point guard and sets up Boston’s offense. That helped him hit this mark in game one, and we’ve seen Jrue notch 5+ assists in three of his last five games.
Holiday has had decent success hitting this mark throughout the playoffs, too. He had five or more dimes twice against the Pacers and did so twice against the Cavs and three times against Miami. The other thing heading into game two is the fact that with Porzingis healthy, Jrue is likely to look for his shot a little less.
The playmaking was already there, but his desire to pass the ball and defer could be greater than we’d seen it in previous playoff games. For a guy who averaged just a hair under this mark (4.8) during the regular season, I think the value is solid in a game where his Celtics are large home favorites.
Kyrie Irving Over 3+ Made Threes (-107)
There was a chance Kyrie Irving would have revenge on the brain heading into game one of the NBA Finals. It didn’t really come to fruition, but after a cold 6-of-19 shooting effort, I anticipate he gets his mind right and shows up for a crucial game two.
Bad blood between Kyrie and Boston is palpable, and if Dallas has any shot to even this thing up, they’ll probably need him to play a key role as a scorer. Irving couldn’t do that last game, but in the previous series he topped 30+ points three different times.
He just needs to settle in, is all.

The matchup was actually even harder against the league’s top ranked defense, too. Boston also ranked 20th in three-point attempts allowed per game on the year, and 12th in three-point makes allowed. If the Mavs are going to rattle them, they’ll need to get hot from distance.
Irving should be a big part of that, if it plays out. He averaged 24.8 points per game during the regular season and he’s connected on three or more threes in 10 different games during this magical post-season run. I think there’s a decent chance he goes for his 11th in game two.
Dereck Lively Over 15+ PRA (-108)
Lively took a huge step back in game two, as he struggled mightily across the board. His biggest issue was foul trouble (5), which cut his floor time to just 18 minutes. He naturally wasn’t very productive in game one, tallying a weak 8 PRA.
Considering how vital he’s been to the Mavs’ playoff run to this point, I imagine it’s likely he’ll get going at some point in this series. Lively has been a monster on the glass for Dallas, notching eight or more rebounds in five of his last seven games.
Boston is no easy task, but Lively was finding a lot of success against an equally daunting Minnesota team, so I think he can bounce back and get the job done. He also has been doing a solid job at scoring inside, and he’s even had two or more dimes in numerous games.
Lively’s minutes need to tick back up and he’ll need to avoid foul trouble, but he’s topped this PRA total in seven of his last eight healthy games. I think he makes it eight of nine on Sunday.
Betting on NBA Finals Player Props (6/8)
That does it for my top NBA player prop bets for game two of the 2024 NBA Finals. I anticipate a better game out of Dallas, and it’s worth noting that more than once during these playoffs that Boston has fallen flat in their second game of a series.
Obviously it’s not guaranteed that trend continues, but Dallas is better than they showed in game one. I expect a motivated Kyrie to play better, Luka to be as aggressive as ever, and role players like Lively to get back to contributing again. There’s still room for someone like Jrue to hit a reasonable Over, though.
I am sure there are other NBA player props worth betting on, but these four are my favorite. My MLB player props did quite well on Friday, so hopefully we can keep the good times going and get some more wins.
