5 Best NBA Player Prop Bets for 4/22
The NBA playoffs rage on with a three-game slate on Monday night, which means it’s time to bet on some more NBA player props. There are a ton to sift through at the top online sports betting sites, which is why I’m here to point you to the very best options.
With three games going on, you’re allowed to be selective as a bettor. The same goes for me as someone handing out NBA player prop bets worth targeting. I’ve got five from BetUS sportsbook that offer some value, and some that offer upside.
You can decide which ones to roll with. With that, it’s onto the top 5 NBA player props for today.
Gary Harris to Make 2+ Threes (+118)
Did I wake up today thinking I’d be enamored with Gary Harris making two or more three-pointers? Certainly not, but here we are.
So, why get excited about this NBA player prop today? Mostly because this is all the guy does. Harris is a career 37% shooter from long range, so we know he can hit shots from deep. It’s also where he hangs around on offense, as he attempted 5.5 shots per game on the year and 3.8 of them were from three.
Cleveland isn’t a soft matchup, but Harris is starting and looking at around 35 minutes in a competitive game. He went 0-6 in game one (0-5 from deep), but he has the green light to let open looks fly.
Thanks to the plus money at BetUS, I like his chances of connecting on two of these in game two.
Kyle Lowry Over 3+ Assists (-205)
Gary Harris offers plus money for two made threes, but he’s still Gary Harris. I get the reluctance to bite down hard onto that NBA player prop bet, so here’s one I think might be the safest of the night.
That’s none other than Lowry getting at least three assists.
This doesn’t feel like much of a reach, as Lowry averaged 4.1 dimes per game on the season, and it’s possible that Philly could be without star guard Tyrese Maxey when they take on the Knicks in game two.
Status alert: Tyrese Maxey (illness) didn’t participate in shootaround Monday.

Even if Maxey is in, Lowry should be busy tonight. The Sixers are desperate as they stare into the depths of an 0-2 hole, and we already know they’re trusting their seasoned vet (39 minutes in game one) for outside shooting and playmaking.
Lowry is a solid bet for made threes, points, and PRA on this slate. You’re taking a mild hit with the -205 price, but I think we can go a bit harder at this one at BetUS.
Austin Reaves Over 23.5 PRA (-121)
Austin Reaves probably should have been a bit more aggressive in game one. I think he’ll wake up a bit and get it going in game two against the Nuggets tonight.
We know Reaves can do a little bit of everything, and judging by the 37 minutes he logged in game one, the Lakers don’t want him off the floor if they can help it.
His versatile skill-set has led to him posting a 25 PRA average on the year, so the line feels like a discount. Considering he’ll play more than he did on average during the regular season – and that the Lake Show needs him – I love his chances to hit the Over.
He was close (20 PRA) in game one, but a more aggressive approach should get him there on Monday.
Joel Embiid to Score 33+ Points (+120)
Another guy I fully expect to be super aggressive on Monday night is Joel Embiid. Obviously that’s even more so the case if Maxey is sidelined, but Embiid needs to let everyone hear his roar in a crucial game two setting.
He had a decent game one with 29 points, but it was a little under-whelming consider he averaged over 34 points per game throughout the regular season.
New York isn’t a cakewalk matchup, but Embiid is going to have to get it going if the Sixers stand a chance. I think he does just that with a huge scoring effort. Whether it leads to a 76ers win or not, of course, is another debate.
Nikola Jokic to Record a Triple-Double (+155)
Lastly, we can keep chasing plus money with The Joker getting a tripled-double.
L.A. pushes the pace and isn’t scary defensively, so there is a lot of meat on the bone for Jokic, who had his way with a 32-7-12 stat line in game one. I don’t see much reason to expect his production to dip from here on out, either.
His season averages against the Lakers (30-8.5-12) do nothing to deter my interest in this NBA player prop. The Lakers will be pressing hard to get the win and even this series, which should mean we get a full game and maximum effort as Jokic tries to keep them at bay.
Jokic is routinely a trip-dub threat, so I love the idea that we can target him at plus money for something he did 25 times this year already.

Betting on NBA Player Props Today (April 22nd)
That does it for my top NBA props for tonight. Hopefully this is a nice mixture of value and upside, but no matter what you think of the pricing, I just like these props to hit for reasons disclosed already.
It’s always risky to bet on NBA player props, so value is key. One way to make sure you’re getting value is using a sportsbook that offers good bonuses and competitive pricing. BetUS crushes it in both regards. Their 125% up to $2,500 welcome bonus is one of the better sportsbook promos available online, so before you pick your props and place your bets, be sure to give them a look.
You can read our BetUS review for a detailed breakdown of everything they have to offer, or head there to take advantage of my 5 NBA player props now. Good luck!
