Joker Folie A Deux, the sequel to Joker (2019), was widely panned by fans and critics alike. So, it is unsurprising that the film and its stars are favored in multiple Razzies categories. Madame Web, another superhero movie, is also a top contender at the 2025 Razzies.
The only categories in which Joker Folie A Deux or Madame Web are not favorites are Worst Supporting Actor and Worst Supporting Actress. Jon Voight is favored in the former for his roles in Megalopolis, Reagan, and Shadow Land. Ariana DeBose is the favorite for Worst Supporting Actress for her work in Argylle and Kraven the Hunter.

2025 Razzies Predictions
Let’s take a closer look at the Razzies odds for this year’s nominees at top entertainment betting sites.
Worst Actor
- Joaquin Phoenix – Joker Folie A Deux (-145)
- Jerry Seinfeld – Unfrosted (+125)
- Dennis Quaid – Reagan (+350)
- Zachary Levi – Harold and the Purple Crayon (+450)
- Jack Black – Dear Santa (+500)
Joaquin Phoenix won the Oscar for his performance in 2019’s Joker. Phoenix was not nominated for the 2025 Academy Awards for the sequel. Instead, he is the -145 favorite to win Worst Actor in the latest Razzies odds.
Jerry Seinfeld is a close second at +125 for Unfrosted, a movie about the origins of Pop-Tarts. Dennis Quaid, Zachary Levi, and Jack Black are also nominated.
Seinfeld deserves the award, but his film flopped on Netflix and did not get as widely criticized as the Joker sequel. The high expectations from the original movie set up Joker Folie A Deux to fail. With that in mind, Phoenix will take home the Worst Actor Razzie this year.

In the Worst Actress category, Dakota Johnson is the-230 favorite for her work in Madame Web. She won this award in 2015 for Fifty Shades of Grey and was nominated in 2017 for Fifty Shades Darker.
Jennifer Lopez has the second-best odds at +300 for her performance as Atlas Shepherd in Atlas.
Madame Web was a significant disappointment, especially by Marvel standards. As the star, Johnson must bear the weight of that, and I think she will win the Razzie this year.
Worst Supporting Actor

Jon Voight won the Worst Actor Razzie last year for Mercy. This year, Voight is the -500 favorite to win Worst Supporting Actor for his roles in Megalopolis, Reagan, and Shadow Land. Jack Black is a distant second at +350 for Borderlands.
Shia LaBeouf (Megalopolis), Kevin Hart (Borderlands), and Tahar Rahim (Madame Web) are also nominated in this category. Borderlands was worse than expected, but Black and Hart will likely split the voters. Voight, on the other hand, is nominated for three films and is a shoo-in for this award.
Worst Supporting Actress

The favorite for Worst Supporting Actress is also nominated for multiple roles. BetOnline lists Ariana DeBose as a -340 favorite for Argylle and Kraven the Hunter. Lesley-Anne Down (Reagan) is second at +280, and Emma Roberts (Madame Web) rounds out the top three at +550.
The top three are all worthy nominees, but I believe Amy Schumer (Unfrosted) is the best bet at +700. Unfrosted deserves to win at least one Razzie, and so does Schumer. Despite her lackluster career, this is Schumer’s first nomination, and she is long overdue for the award.
Worst Film

The big prize of the night is Worst Film, and Joker Folie A Deux is the -500 favorite to win the award. Madame Web is second at +150, and Megalopolis (+500) is a distant third.
Borderlands is a great option if you are looking for a sleeper in this option. The failed adaptation of the popular video game series is listed at 12-1 odds and has a rating of 10% on Rotten Tomatoes.
Joker Folie A Deux has a significantly better score at 31%, but it also had higher expectations than Borderlands. It may not be the worst film of the bunch, but the Joker sequel is destined to win Worst Film at this year’s Razzies.

Joaquin Phoenix (Joker Folie A Deux) and Dakota Johnson (Madame Web) are the favorites for Worst Actor and Worst Actress, respectively. However, Madame Web is not favored in any other category.
Joker Folie A Deux and its cast, on the other hand, are favored in four other categories, including Worst Director, Worst Screen Combo, and Worst Prequel, Remake, Rip-Off, or Sequel. If the 2025 Razzies go chalk, then Joker Folie A Deux will win the most awards by far.
