How and Where to Bet on The Bachelorette Season 17
The Bachelorette always tugs at the heartstrings. In season 16, it ripped those strings off and ran away with your ex. They’re doing great, by the way, and you can see all of it on Instagram.
It was, in a word, brutal.
The drama-filled 16th season included a lot of ups and downs (and plenty of surprises), and considering each season only gets weirder, season 17 is probably going to put us all out of commission for a while.
Katie Thurston is under the spotlight for season 17 of The Bachelorette, though, and the fan-favorite deserves this opportunity. How it goes – and who she ultimately picks – will make for must-see TV, and it also could give way to some fun betting.
Yes, you can bet on The Bachelorette, and there is a decent amount that goes into it. Before you do it, though, join me as I break down how and where to bet on The Bachelorette 2021.
Where to Bet on The Bachelorette Season 17
It’s a new season of The Bachelorette, but you still need somewhere to place your bets.
Whether you’re brand new to betting on entertainment – or you’re just looking to prepare for season 17 – the sites above should be of good use to you.
Regardless of what you bet on, you want sites that you can trust, that offer versatility over a multitude of categories, and get you whatever money you win.
The sites above check every box, and they’re also some of the best sites when it comes to props and bonuses.
Even if The Bachelorette betting sites above don’t end up ranking in your top-5, perhaps they’re some quality options to add to your rolodex.
Recapping Last Season
The last season of The Bachelorette was one for the books. Season 16 preceded the demise of longtime host Chris Harrison, but also included two leading women, some heartbreak, and plenty of drama.
In the end, Clare Crawley left the show early with the would-be love of her life in Dale Moss. The two got engaged, broke up, and got back together.
That roller coaster is impossible to keep up with, but it does appear that they’re together and planning a future.

From there, Tayshia Adams took over and worked her way to the finale, ultimately choosing Zac Clark. The two are engaged, even though there have been a lot of rumors about their supposed demise as a couple.
It was a wild season, but as Chris Harrison always alluded to, we haven’t seen anything yet. Season 16 was off the rails, so what could ABC possibly have in store for us as season 17 of The Bachelorette approaches?
The Bachelorette 2021 Overview
It’s going to be difficult to follow up what we saw in season 16, but I think we’re just getting one female lead for season 17 of The Bachelorette.
Perhaps that cuts back on the drama a bit, while the newest face of the franchise (Thurston) really isn’t the type to drum up theatrics. She sure is a personality, though, and she doesn’t take kindly to bullying.
That could play into season 17 being a bit blunt, and that alone will get me to watch. There is more to cover before you dive in and bet on The Bachelorette, though, so let’s preview season 17.
Who Will Be the Host?
Well, it won’t be Chris Harrison. The longtime face of The Bachelor franchise dug his own grave with some tone-deaf comments about “woke culture” and it cost him dearly.
It’s unclear if Harrison is gone for good, but he was booted to close out last season of The Bachelor, and he won’t return for this installment of The Bachelorette.
Instead, it’s a girl party, as Tayshia Adams and Katileyn Bristowe are set to co-host season 17.
This is something that makes total sense, to be frank. It’s great for marketing with Bristowe winning the last season of Dancing with the Stars, and Adams being last year’s bachelorette.
This should also be positive for Thurston, who gets to lean on two strong women who have – at least to some extent – been under similar pressure.
Who is Katie Thurston?
Maybe I should have made it an italicized “is” for this one.
If you’re new to The Bachelor franchise, you probably don’t know who Katie Thurston is. You probably don’t know her if you didn’t tune into the last season of The Bachelorette, either.
Had you, she’d have been instantly memorable, as she stood out against bullying, made quite the first impression, and had a tough breakup moment with Matt James.
Suffice to say, Thurston has been through it, and she earned her keep. The 30-year-old bank marketing manager seems to be there “for all the right reasons” and will have a crack at 30 men when season 17 debuts on June 7th, 2021.
Who Are the Men?
With just a little time before the season 17 premiere, you better believe that there is some information as to who the men are for this installment of The Bachelorette.
You can check out each guy’s bio at The Bachelorette season 17 cast page, and I also suggest seeing some of them in action in this teaser video.
It’s tough to say exactly who stands out the most, because we don’t know who Thurston will go after. We do see her kissing several guys in the trailer, though, so it seems as if she will turn over every stone and give everyone a fair shake.
That said, she seemed to be bummed when she was turned down by James last season. He had to deliver the bad news, but he also was a good dude who also happened to be handsome.
Thurston will be eyeing a similar package here, but I won’t be making any season 17 The Bachelorette predictions based on a trailer or some bios.
How to Bet on The Bachelorette Season 17
Maybe you’re ready to predict who will win The Bachelorette season 17 already.
You won’t find any The Bachelorette betting sites offering odds for the last man standing just yet, but there’s no harm in being ready to dive in.
The only way to do that, of course, is to know how to get on a site and place a bet.
Step by Step Guide
If you want to be prepared, adhere to the following steps, should you be interested in learning how to bet on The Bachelorette season 17.
Sign Up at Your Favorite Site
Hopefully, some of The Bachelorette betting sites I’ve detailed in this guide make your list, but whatever site you like, just be selective, make sure it has what you need, and sign up.
This requires some personal information and payment method credentials, but that’s standard practice for online betting sites.
Deposit Some Money
Whether you are going hard in betting on The Bachelorette, or you’re just easing your way into the online betting game, you usually need to deposit some cash.
Pick the deposit method you prefer and drop some money into your account. Then you have some flexibility as far as when you can bet, and what you can bet on.
Activate Your Bonus
Often at the time of sign up, or just after, you can also activate any current bonuses or promotions.
Almost every site has some type of welcome or sign-up bonus, but there are other deposit bonuses that can be activated, as well.
Place a Bet
Once you are in and ready to rock, you can place a bet. Head to the site’s lobby, find the entertainment/novelty section, and look for The Bachelorette props.
They aren’t always out right away, and not every site has them early in the season. Most sites known for offering entertainment props will eventually push out some odds, however, and then you can get in on the action.
Withdraw Your Winnings
Hopefully, you can use this betting guide and future The Bachelorette season 17 blogs to fuel some winning bets. Once you see your bet converts, you can check to see when your site pushes the money into your account.
From there, pick your preferred payout method, and wait until the money transfers.
The Bachelorette Season 17 Betting Tips
The first tips for betting on The Bachelorette season 17 are finding a good site to bet at, reflecting on past seasons, and learning the process of signing up and betting. Once you’re past that, you can get into actual The Bachelorette betting strategy.
Part of that is just following the show closely, paying attention to what people say on social media and articles, and trusting your gut. Another part is knowing what to bet on, and when.
There can often be a slew of ways to bet on The Bachelorette, but the following are some of the more popular methods.
- Who will be the last man standing?
- Which man will be runner-up?
- Will the last man standing propose?
- Will Thurston marry the final rose recipient?
- Will Thurston marry the runner-up?
- Who will get eliminated next?
- Who will get the first rose of an episode?
And this may just be the start. The best The Bachelorette betting sites are pretty creative with the props they offer, so the wagers can vary here.
This is probably a good list to get the ball rolling, though, and most of it should require intently watching most of season 17 before confidently betting.
I do want to warn you of potential spoilers from Reality Steve and other social media spoilers.
The sooner you can get a great feel and place a bet, the better. Assessing initial impressions and chemistry can be key, and it’s always a good rule of thumb to avoid guys who are full of themselves or are quite clearly there for the wrong reasons.
It could take some time, but eventually a smart bachelorette will see through that. They’re going to pick a good guy if they can help it, so the trick is often just deciding between the two guys who seem most likely to be in the final two.

Your plight to bet on season 17 of The Bachelorette all starts with choosing a good site you can trust. It’s pretty important to prioritize safety, reliability, and execution over aesthetics, but ideally, whatever site you choose offers the total package.
