Latest Jake Paul Fight Odds & Predictions
As fans and bettors eagerly await Jake Paul’s next fight, odds are already out for several potential bouts, even though no one seems to have any idea who “The Problem Child” will fight next.
If you think it’s going to be Conor McGregor, Roy Jones Jr., or even Saul “Canelo” Alvarez, you can bet on the outcomes of those matches.
Jake Paul vs. Conor McGregor Odds & Pick
Fighter | Odds |
---|---|
Jake Paul | -300 |
Conor McGregor | +240 |
The odds are from BetOnline, whose boxing betting team of oddsmakers has done a fantastic job if you ask me. They seem certain that he’d win such a bout, but the real question is whether Conor McGregor will actually be Jake Paul’s next opponent. My prediction is that he won’t.
After all, according to McGregor, he’s going to fight another Paul. The Logan Paul vs. Conor McGregor fight should happen in India sometime in 2025 if “The Notorious” is to be trusted.
I don’t think he should be trusted, though. I think neither of those bouts will happen, as the two Paul brothers really don’t need to associate themselves with such a controversial figure.
But if one of them does agree to fight him, Conor is in trouble. Not only are they both bigger and stronger than him, but they also pack a decent set of boxing skills. This goes especially for Jake, who is 11-1 in pro boxing. McGregor, meanwhile, is 0-1.
Jake Paul vs. Roy Jones Jr. Odds & Pick
Fighter | Odds |
---|---|
Jake Paul | -400 |
Roy Jones Jr. | +300 |
Conor McGregor beat up an old man in a pub a few years ago. Jake Paul beat up an old man in the boxing ring last November.
Of course, I’m talking about his unanimous win over 58-year-old Mike Tyson. I’m not bragging, but “Iron Mike” losing by decision was exactly what I predicted in my Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul preview.
In 2025, we could see Jake fight another veteran. The man in question is Roy Jones Jr., who’s turning 56 in January.
Unlike Tyson, who had a 19-year break from boxing before fighting Jake, Jones Jr. has been active in the boxing world. His most recent professional bout happened in 2023, while five years earlier, he won the WBU Cruiserweight title at the age of 49.
This guy would almost certainly pose a tougher challenge to Jake than Tyson, but I don’t think the fight will come through. From Paul’s perspective, this would be too risky without any major advantages.
He’s already fought a boxing legend, and fighting another one would cement his reputation as someone who only fights washed-up opponents. Plus, there would be a significant chance of Jones Jr. winning, which would end Jake’s career.
But if you think the fight will happen, my advice is to back the veteran while the odds are +300.
Jake Paul vs. Saul “Canelo” Alvarez Odds & Pick
Fighter | Odds |
---|---|
Jake Paul | +750 |
Canelo | -1500 |
I wouldn’t be too surprised if Canelo is who will Jake Paul fight next. Sure, that sounds crazy, given that he’s the current WBA (Super), WBC, WBO, and The Ring champ. Plus, he’s almost two times younger than Jake’s previous opponent.
However, I think the bout is exactly what Jake wants at this point. Even though he’s earned a lot of money over the years, he’s become a sort of laughingstock among professional boxers. A good performance against Canelo – who, let’s face it, is still in his prime – would make everyone respect Jake more.
So, what would I consider a good performance? While there’s literally zero chance of Jake beating Canelo, I think he could go the distance.
Jake is 5.5 inches taller than Canelo and has a 5.5-inch reach advantage. Further, the Mexican boxing legend isn’t really someone with a lethal punch – Canelo’s knockout-to-win ratio is 62.90%. In comparison, Roy Jones Jr. has 71.21%, while Tyson’s percentage is 88%.
Jake Paul vs. Artur Beterbiev Odds & Pick
Fighter | Odds |
---|---|
Jake Paul | +900 |
Artur Beterbiev | -2000 |
Some offshore betting sites like Bovada have released odds for the potential fight between Jake Paul and Artur Beterbiev. I think there’s no way it can happen. The reason? Jake doesn’t want to get put to sleep in the first round.
If you think the Jake Paul vs. Artur Beterbiev fight will happen, then feel free to bet a lot on the reigning light-heavyweight champion of the world.
Artur Beterbiev is the same height as Jake Paul, weighs approximately the same, and is at least as powerful as him. When it comes to boxing skills, Jake is nowhere near Artur. This guy is 21-0, with 20 of those wins happening by KO/TKO.
Who Will Jake Paul’s Next Opponent Be?
Conor McGregor, Roy Jones Jr., Canelo Alvarez, or Artur Beterbiev – who will Jake Paul fight next? I don’t think any of them will be his next opponent.
A fight with McGregor could get him canceled, while a match with Jones Jr. would cement his reputation as a grandpa-slayer. A fight with Beterbiev wouldn’t be good for his health – he’d get KO-ed within seconds.
I do think he might fight Canelo, as the chance of getting steamrolled by the Mexican boxer isn’t high. However, I don’t think he’ll jump straight into such a challenging fight.
Instead, I think he’s more likely to fight an easier opponent first. Tommy Fury looks like an ideal match, as it would be a great chance for Jake to get payback for the only loss in his portfolio.
