Jon Snow Show Predictions, Dragons and ships in backround

A fan-favorite character from the Game of Thrones series could be back on our screens before we know it. A sequel to the mega-hit series centered around the character Jon Snow appears to be in the works.

Played by Kit Harington, Snow went from a tarnished boy to the King of the North throughout his journey in Westeros. His character faces many challenges, from his life as a soldier to his time among the Wildlings, but he firmly sticks to his morals and beliefs.

Many people loved Jon Snow’s character, so that the sequel couldn’t come any faster. We’ve made our Jon Snow series predictions for what we think will happen, so let’s get right into it.

Jon to Tame Drogon

The first of our Jon Snow TV show predictions is that he reunites with the only surviving dragon from the Game of Thrones series.

If you watched the show, you would know that Daenerys Targaryen received her three dragons from her marriage with Khal Drogo, the Dothraki leader.

After Khal Drogo died, Daenerys had him buried and set ablaze. She then walked into the fire with her dragon eggs and survived. Her Targaryen bloodline gave her the immunity to fire, and she became the Mother of Dragons after her eggs hatched.

She was the heir to the Iron Throne and the Seven Kingdoms, and the dragons helped her claim what was rightfully hers. There were times when the dragons seemed to stand down to no one, but Daenerys introduced them to Jon Snow.

Jon could ride Rhaegal even though he didn’t look comfortable doing it. This was also a huge indication of Jon’s real identity: Aegon Targaryen. So, it makes sense that the dragons liked Jon because he also had Targaryen blood.

Sadly, two of the three dragons didn’t survive the show’s ending.

The Night King took down Viserion, while Euron Greyjoy shot down Rhaegal. That left Drogon as the only surviving dragon, while Daenerys’ death set him free to roam Westeros.

After the tragic ending of Season 8, Drogon was said to have been seen heading West. We last saw Jon heading North of the Wall, but there’s still a chance their paths cross.

At the end of the day, these wouldn’t be real Jon Snow show predictions if they didn’t include a dragon.

The Real North

Jon Snow

Speaking of where we left off after the Game of Thrones finale, there’s sure to be something epic beyond the Wall for Jon Snow.

After killing Daenerys, Jon was sentenced to prison for several weeks. Then, he is exiled to Castle Black to live out his days on the Wall.

Instead, Jon decides to join the Free Folk on their journey beyond. This was a more satisfactory ending to his journey in Game of Thrones, while the entirety of the finale could have been better. Jon is better off with the Wildlings than he was on death row after killing Dany.

What will happen in Jon Snow season one? It makes sense to pick up where we left off.

The Wildlings and Jon are fit for each other. Jon grew up in a family where he was seen as lesser than the rest and was banished in the finale. The Free Folk never were accustomed to the rules of the Kingdoms, so they are glad to have Jon on their side.

It’s not exactly clear the path of their journey, but it’s safe to say that they will find something for our Jon Snow spin-off predictions.

The Free Folk refer to the lands North of the Wall as “the real North.” They say that because the northernmost kingdom in Westeros is referred to as “the North,” but that’s not North to the Wildlings.

The Haunted Forest is one of the few locations known to be beyond the wall, so maybe that’s where our Jon Snow season 1 prediction begins.

Old GOT Characters to Appear

House of Stark logo

Even though it seems like an incredible number of beloved characters have died throughout the course of the Game of Thrones, some good ones are still alive. Of course, Jon Snow will be the story’s main protagonist, but even he technically died in the original series.

You could also say that just about any character with a body still intact could be brought back by the Night King too. That said, characters like Ned Stark, Robb Stark, Catelyn Stark, Jaime Lannister, Daenerys Targaryen, and more all seem dead.

Don’t be surprised if the show kills off new characters after they become some of your favorites, as it tends to go that way. On the other hand, if we push through, we should have some incredible TV to watch.

That said, there’s a chance some characters we already know and love will come back. Which of those characters will make for our Jon Snow series predictions, you ask? Well, there’s a good amount that we would like to see.

Starting in the beloved Stark family, we have Arya, Sansa, and Bran all alive and well. Arya is on a journey to find what’s West of Westeros; Sansa goes back home to be the Queen of the North, while Bran is the King of Westeros altogether.

Jon’s good friend, Samwell Tarly, is a character we can’t leave out of our Jon Snow show predictions.

Betting on your Jon Snow tv show predictions for the cast might be available in the near future. We already know that certain props are up for the prequel to GoT, being the House of Dragon.

Jon Snow Will Be Hunted

Although Jon Snow has already been through just about all you could throw at him, we still have to make Jon Snow sequel predictions regarding the potential antagonists of the story.

If this was a show about Jon Snow wandering in a frozen tundra, it might not be the best TV show we’ve ever seen. It would certainly be a step down from Game of Thrones if that were the case.

Given the nature of the land of Westeros, there’s sure to be a ton of action coming Jon Snow’s way. He’s an incredible swordsman, and I don’t think GoT did him enough justice.

Maybe the sequel makes up for it with lots of great fight scenes.

Who is Jon going to be fighting, though? The Free Folk might cause some problems amongst themselves, but there shouldn’t be anything near civil war. I’m interested to see if the Haunted Forest appears in the show, so maybe that’s where the action begins.

Another one of our Jon Snow TV show predictions could be that he’s being hunted. Jon’s true identity as a Targaryen could ruffle feathers as he wanders throughout the North. There’s a good chance that he has some enemies in some unfamiliar and familiar territories.

The Targaryen reign wasn’t exactly peaceful, so there’s a good chance that many families won’t be happy when they find out who Jon Snow really is. Since we are in the very early stages of the show’s development, it’s unclear what direction the show will be.

That said, Jon Snow being hunted is something we like for our Jon Snow show predictions.

White Walker Origins

The most terrifying words that someone in the world of Westeros could whisper is “Winter is coming.” White Walkers were hidden for thousands of years but made an emphatic and untimely return for our favorite characters.

In ancient history, the White Walkers originated thousands of years ago. They were created to protect the Children of the Forest from the First Men. The First Men began fighting the Children of the Forest as soon as they came to Essos, so the Children of the Forest created the White Walkers to help them.

Eventually, the White Walkers escaped from their control and became one of the most feared creatures in history. Every dead creature becomes an undead White Walker by the power of the Night King.

That makes for an unlimited supply of soldiers for the Night King’s army, which was built up for thousands of years. The Wall was created to prevent the White Walkers from reaching Westeros ever again but was eventually destroyed by the Night King with the help of Viserion.

Now that Arya Stark could take down the Night King in one of the most epic scenes in television history, the White Walkers are no more. They could come back in the upcoming show, but it would also make sense that their reign of terror ended with the Night King’s death.

For our Jon Snow predictions, it would make sense to have something about the White Walkers in it. They originated far North of the Wall, and that’s exactly where Jon and the Free Folk are headed.

This might come a bit later in Season 1 or maybe even further into the show, but seeing where the White Walkers came from could be one of the most exciting Jon Snow series predictions.

Predictions for the Game of Thrones Jon Snow Sequel

Kit Harrington

It’s not easy making Jon Snow predictions without something to work off of, but it’s still fun to speculate what might happen. Game of Thrones was a massive hit in the world of entertainment, so it’s exciting to be able to venture back into Westeros and beyond.

Tons of Jon Snow fans should be ecstatic about the upcoming show, and Kit Harington is quite the fan himself. Harington brought the idea to George R.R. Martin and bought his own production team.

It’s encouraging to hear the level of motivation this show should have, so make sure to get in some wild Jon Snow predictions of your own.

That will wrap up our Jon Snow series predictions for now, but we could have more once we find out the show’s direction.
