Betting sites were quick to release their McGregor vs. Chandler odds, which is no surprise given that the UFC 303 headliner is one of the biggest fights of 2024.
The main reason is that this fight marks the return of Conor McGregor to the Octagon after 1,085 days. Conor’s fight with Michael Chandler – which could be the final fight for both fighters – is likely to break some viewership records.
So, if you consider yourself a sports fan, the UFC 303 main event is a must-watch. If you consider yourself a sports bettor, putting some money on this fight is a must. This goes especially because the Conor McGregor vs. Michael Chandler odds are great regardless of which way you’re leaning.
Odds for McGregor vs. Chandler
The Notorious is one of the most popular athletes on the planet, who featured in each of the UFC’s top 5 highest earning PPV events ever.
Whenever he’s fighting, there’s incredible hype in the MMA universe. Bookies know this, which is why many top-rated UFC betting sites have already released McGregor vs. Chandler betting odds. This includes EveryGame where each fighter is priced at -115.
Apart from offering attractive odds for the UFC 303 main event, this sportsbook is great for many other reasons, all of which you can read about in our EveryGame review.
Sportsbook | Conor McGregor | Michael Chandler |
EveryGame | -115 | -115 |
MyBookie | -113 | -113 |
BetUS | -120 | -110 |
Bovada | -105 | -115 |
Judging by the McGregor vs. Chandler odds, the UFC 303 headliner is basically a coin toss – either outcome is almost equally likely to happen. This is particularly the case with EveryGame and MyBookie, which is where each fighter is priced at -115 and -113, respectively.
Over at BetUS, it’s Conor who’s the (slight) favorite with the odds of -120. Bovada, on the other hand, is giving the title of the betting favorite to Chandler, who’s priced at -115 at this sportsbook.
So, which of these betting sites should you use for UFC 303 betting? It all depends on your McGregor vs. Chandler pick, but the fact is that EveryGame is giving the best value on either outcome.
Plus, this bookmaker is giving away some amazing sports bonuses, starting with the 100% up to $500. The best thing is that you can use EveryGame’s bonus credits to bet on this fight.
Why Most Bookies are Favoring Michael Chandler
Most US online betting sites think that Michael Chandler is more like to win, although his odds are only slightly shorter than those of McGregor.
But should you back him at all? Well, there are some things going against him ahead of the Conor fight. First of all, his MMA portfolio isn’t as impressive as McGregor’s. Sure, he’s 23-8, but he’s only fought five times in the UFC. And he’s got a negative record in Dana White’s promotion (2-3).
After a brilliant debut which saw him beat Dan Hooker by TKO, he didn’t impress much in the next four fights:
- Charles Oliveira beat him by TKO
- Justin Gaethje beat him by unanimous decision
- He beat Tony Ferguson who was on a 3-fight losing skid
- Dustin Poirier beat him by submission
The last of those fights happened in November 2022. He too was away for a long time, but he probably has less ring rust than Conor. He also hasn’t suffered a major injury since joining the UFC in 2021.
If you think those could be key factors in the fight with McGregor, why not back Chandler? You can do it at BetUS.
Can Conor McGregor Prove His Doubters Wrong?
The biggest star in mixed martial arts is an incredible striker who lands 5.32 significant strikes per minute on average. Further, his knockout-to-win ratio is 86.36%.
On top of everything, the former UFC double champ has fought the who’s who of the lightweight and welterweight divisions – Khabib Nurmagomedov, Dustin Poirier, Nate Diaz, Jose Aldo, Eddie Alvarez, etc.
However, he did lose to some of them. Khabib beat him once in 2018, while Poirier beat him twice in 2021. In fact, the last time he fought, he lost to Poirier – The Diamond broke Conor’s leg in that fight.
Almost three years have passed since and Conor looks very different than before. He looks huge and will probably have to do some extreme cutting to make the weight.
My prediction is that he won’t make weight, but I also predict that Chandler won’t make a problem out of it. I think the fight will go through, but will Conor’s size have a big impact?
If you think he’s powerful enough to win on June 29, the best place to back The Notorious is EveryGame.
Best McGregor vs. Chandler Props
BetUS is one of the sportsbooks that has already released odds for McGregor vs. Chandler prop bets. There are eight props to choose from, three of which I like a lot.
Will Conor McGregor Put Hands Behind the Back During Fight?
As everyone probably knows, Conor likes to taunt his opponents. He famously did the hands behind the back thing in the UFC Lightweight title fight against Eddie Alvarez, literally moments before beating him with punches.
Will he do the same on June 29? I think he might, which is why I’m surprised that the odds for this prop are +250. I think that’s really good value.
Will Conor McGregor Drop F-Bomb During Octagon Interview?
This is Conor and swearing is his style. He dropped many F-bombs during his UFC career, including in the Octagon interview after the win over Eddie Alvarez.

If he wins again, I think it’s very likely he’ll drop an F-bomb. If he loses by a controversial decision, he’s gonna drop many F-bombs. The only scenario in which I don’t see him bombarding the Octagon with F-words is if Chandler leaves him unconscious on the floor.
Will Either Fighter Bleed?
Imagine if the biggest MMA star in history came back after a 1,000+ days hiatus only to produce a snooze fest. Such a scenario seems impossible to me.
Instead, McGregor will throw everything he’s got at Chandler. Obviously, Chandler won’t surrender but will fight back as this could be his last fight before retirement. This is why I’m certain the McGregor vs. Chandler will be a bloody affair.
Early McGregor vs. Chandler Prediction
- Conor McGregor (-115) – Place This Bet at EveryGame
My McGregor vs. Chandler prediction is that Conor will win. He’s the biggest superstar in the UFC who’s been out of action for more than a thousand days and who’s without a win in almost four and a half years.
The Notorious is hungry for success, so you can be 100% certain that he’s gonna go all-in on this fight. Even if that wasn’t the case, I’d still fancy his chances against Chandler who I don’t think is a match for Conor.
Before long I’ll push out a full UFC 303 odds breakdown. For now, you can think about what may have been (or what may still be?) in this post where I looked at a potential Mark Zuckerberg vs. Elon Musk fight.
