I’ll be breaking down the 2024 Miss America odds from the top entertainment betting sites and offering advice and my final Miss America prediction below!
Updated Odds to Win Miss America 2024
Above are the 2024 Miss America betting odds for the top 12 contestants. Now, these aren’t the only options you have to choose from.
In fact, you can bet on all 51 of them at BetUS. The top 12 just have the highest chances of winning, according to the oddsmakers.
Who will Grace Stanke pass the torch to in 2024? There are a considerable number of worthy contestants, but there are three that appear to be a step above the rest.
The 2024 Miss America odds favor Miss North Dakota (Sydney Helgeson), Miss Arizona (Tiffany Ticlo), and Miss Wyoming (Mackenzie Kern) at +300 each.
Now, this doesn’t mean it’s going to come down to these three. It very well could, but it’s unlikely the 2024 Miss America odds are this accurate. In fact, it’s probably more likely for none of them to make it to the final three, rather than all three of them.
When placing your bets, be sure to understand the real chance each contestant has to win, instead of just relying on their implied odds.
Before we look at some of the top contenders and sleepers, let’s take a look at why BetUS is the best site for betting on Miss America 2024.

Top Contenders to Win 2024 Miss America
When making your Miss America 2024 predictions, it’s important to look at the favorites and find reasons for why they are considered to have the best chance of winning.
In this case, we have three favorites, which include Miss Arizona, Miss North Dakota, and Miss Wyoming.
Miss Arizona: Tiffany Ticlo (+300)
Tiffany Ticlo, a 21-year-old from Chandler, Arizona, who holds the title of Miss Scottsdale.
She is a Senior at Arizona State University majoring in Software Engineering with a reported 3.9 GPA. She advocates for creating equal opportunities for students in STEAM fields and hopes to use her platform as the future Miss America to do so.
Her talents include not only excelling at her studies but singing as well. She has a few original songs out, so it is possible we will hear her sing an original tune at the Miss America 2024 competition.

Tiffany isn’t the only Miss Arizona titleholder in her family; her sister, Isabel Ticlo also won the title in 2022.
Since winning the crown seems to run in the family, it is no surprise that Tiffany is at the top of the odds to win Miss America 2024.
Miss North Dakota: Sydney Helgeson (+300)
Sydney Helgeson, or Miss North Dakota, is also someone to consider while placing your bets.
She has a long resume of experiences in pageantry, as she started competing at just 11 years old. Inspired by her grandmother, who held the title of first runner-up for Miss North Dakota in 1961.
Sydney has expressed her love for performance and how competing in pageants has helped her develop her musical talents and social skills.
She works with United Way in both North Dakota and Alabama, where she attended college, to make a lasting and positive impact on her community through philanthropic work.
Sydney is also a strong advocate of using Miss America’s many scholarship opportunities for women to further their education and encourages women to achieve their goals.
Miss Wyoming: Mackenzie Kern (+300)
Another contender for you to consider is Mackenzie Kern, who was crowned Miss Wyoming in 2023.
She is considered to be a candidate with an entrepreneurial spirit who uses her platform to empower other women.
At the age of 19, she began her own online fashion boutique “Shop Loveleigh.” Her creativity and determination launched her business into a successful place for fashion lovers to find unique clothing based on her own style and ultimately won the title “Wyoming’s Online Boutique of the Year.”
For those who can relate to her driven spirit, Mackenzie will be a great pick when you go to bet on Miss America.

Top 2024 Miss America Sleepers
- Miss Colorado – Madison Marsh (+2000) – Visit BetOnline
- Miss Oklahoma – Sunny Day (+3000) – Visit BetUS
If you’re looking for the most bang for your buck, looking toward the bottom of the Miss America 2024 odds is a strategic move. Madison Marsh (Miss Colorado) and Sunny Day (Miss Oklahoma) are two contestants to consider for your sleeper pick.
Madison Marsh is certainly no sleeper when it comes to the most accomplished contestant. She graduated from the United States Air Force Academy in 2023 with a degree in physics. Madison is now pursuing her degree in Public Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School on a scholarship.
Although she has accomplished many great things, she has also suffered some serious blows. Her mother passed away from pancreatic cancer in 2018, which inspired her to create the Whitney Marsh Foundation.
The organization has since raised more than a quarter of a million dollars towards pancreatic cancer research, and she is currently a graduate intern at the Harvard Medical School, where she is studying how to use artificial intelligence to detect pancreatic cancer.
Another contender to consider as a sleeper is Miss Oklahoma, who just happens to have the most joyful name: Sunny Day. As a first-generation high school and college graduate, she is nothing if not a trailblazer.
Her love for teaching has not been sidetracked by her winning the title of Miss Oklahoma. She continues to teach and has taught 6th grade ESL students and 5th grade ELA and Social Studies.
With what she has accomplished with her platform as Miss Oklahoma, it will be exciting to see what she will do with a title such as Miss America to bolster her community service initiatives.
Other 2024 Miss America Prop Bets
Looking for more ways to bet on your Miss America 2024 predictions? Well, lucky for you there are more props available on the top betting sites.
Picking the correct winner out of 51 total options is incredibly difficult, so it might make more sense to bet on something that’s a little easier to predict.
The following prop bets are simple, but they still offer plenty of upside. Let’s take a look.
Age of Winner
If you have a contestant in mind but don’t want to bet on them just yet, you can make a more general Miss America prediction by betting on the age of the winner.
Both the 2022 and 2023 winners, Emma Broyles and Grace Stanke, respectively, were just 20 years old when they obtained the title.
When you look back through history, younger contestants often won more than their older counterparts. Nowadays, age seems to be less of a factor, but you can still bet on the age group you think is most likely to produce a winner.
The three favorites I mentioned earlier are all 23 or under, so keep that in mind as well.
Talent of Winner
One of the more entertaining aspects of the Miss America competition is the talent portion. Each contestant has a talent that they perform to wow the judges, and you can bet on the talent of the winner.
Singing and dancing seem to be the most obvious talents to come to mind, and for good reason. Many previous winners have won by performing a song or dance, although there have been some outliers.
In 2020, Miss America winner Camille Schrier became the first contestant to perform a chemistry demonstration, which certainly impressed the judges.
Other novel talents have included ballet performances, a gymnastic routine, and playing a musical instrument.
Tiffany Ticlo and Sydney Helgeson are both singers, which is another reason singing a song is likely to win.
As I mentioned, it can be difficult to predict the overall winner. These two props are a little easier to bet on and you can still win big.
Head over to BetUS to place your bets for the age and talent for the 2024 Miss America winner!
Length of Hair
When Miss America came to fruition in the 1920s, short hair was all the rage. Since then, however, the winners of Miss America have all had hair that went beyond their shoulders.
One advantage to this is being able to style it more for each costume change or event. Another reason is that longer hair is considered traditionally feminine, and Miss America is historically a more feminine event.
In fact, Miss France received a lot of hate a few years ago for winning her title while sporting a pixie cut.
While we’d like to think society has progressed enough to accept that short hair can be feminine, and long hair is not a requirement for a beauty contestant, many of the contestants do have longer hair, so that is likely your best bet.
Live TV Wardrobe Malfunction
Another out-there betting prop for you to consider is whether or not one contestant will have a wardrobe malfunction on live TV.
While we do not wish such a stressful occurrence on any of the contestants, wardrobe malfunctions are not uncommon. In fact, just recently, a Miss California USA contestant had an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction during the swimsuit round.
While Miss America got rid of the swimwear competition in 2018, they are certainly not safe from potential wardrobe malfunctions. In 2015, Miss Nebraska had a moment where she accidentally gave the judges and camera crew a shot up her skirt.
These types of malfunctions are not common, however, so it would be a rarity if one did occur.
The length of hair and wardrobe malfunction props are available at BetOnline, so be sure to pay them a visit!
Miss America Betting Tips & Strategy for 2024
Who will win Miss America 2024? Making the right prediction is quite challenging, but maybe a few tips will make it easier for us.
Before you finalize your wagers, be sure to keep these things in mind.
- Bet on Sleepers
- Monitor the Odds Throughout the Event
- Research Specific Contestants
The Miss America contest is not an easy one to predict. That’s why you should try your luck on a sleeper bet. You already have a low chance of winning, so you might as well try and score a big win.
It’s also important to monitor the odds throughout the event. There are plenty of moments when you can get a great price for a contestant who successfully grabs the spotlight.
Lastly, you can research any of the 51 contestants to find out who’s a good bet or not. If they have a long list of accolades, they should have a higher chance of winning overall.
I recommend applying these tips to most entertainment betting markets. As you can see from our entertainment blog, anything can happen in this industry.
