In 2024, the organization named her their 2024 Hero of Hope. A bright star going into Miss America, Stockard is the same age as last year’s winner and could be Alabama’s first victor here since 2005.

Miss New York (Abigail Quammen)

No US state has more Miss America winners than New York, so it makes sense to give Abigail Quammen a serious look if you’re allowed to bet on who will win Miss America in 2025.

Quammen is an advocate for literacy via her Read to Succeed initiiative, while she’s also worked with the Barbara Bush Foundation for Family Literacy’s National Celebration of Reading.

The multi-talented and well-educated Quammen would be the oldest Miss America champion (25) since Nia Franklin won in 2019, but hailing from the event’s winningest state gives her an edge.

Miss Wyoming (Baylee Drewry)

Baylee Drewry, best known as Miss Wyoming, is one of the more interesting sleeper picks and a serious contender. It’s unknown what her odds to win Miss America would be, but since she represents Wyoming (one of 17 US states to never win this pageant), she is naturally not a safe bet.

Even so, Drewry has the look of a Miss America winner and is already a successful law student and Air Force squadron commander at just 20 years old.

Without actual pricing, my tentative 2025 Miss America prediction is that Miss Wyoming will win. Obviously targeting smaller states isn’t always profitable, but eventually some of these states that have never won this event will get their day in the sun.

Miss Wyoming also happens to be a fantastic contestant – and her odds should be quite alluring if they pop up – so I wouldn’t mind giving her a go at the top Miss America betting websites.
