Looking for the very best NFL bets for week 1? The 2024 season can’t get here quick enough, and there are several enticing wagers available for anyone to pounce on.

The longer you wait, the more likely it is that the odds shift and you’re left in the cold. Below you’ll find my favorite NFL best bets for week one, as well as which online sportsbooks currently offer them at that price.

Ravens vs. Chiefs – Under 46.5 (-105) at BetOnline

If you’re looking for the best NFL bets for week one, you might as well start with the 2024 Kickoff Game. That’s between none other than the Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs and the Baltimore Ravens.

The Under feels like the play here. For one, it’s the first game of the season, and it’s unlikely that both sides will be 100% at their absolute best.

We know for sure KC won’t be healthy, at least, as star wide receiver Hollywood Brown is set to miss the next 4-6 weeks.

Long-term, Kansas City’s offense looks dangerous for 2024. However, they’re suddenly having to trust rookie speedster Xavier Worthy a bit more than perhaps they preferred to.

There’s also the fact that these kickoff games can be lower scoring. Last year’s game between the Chiefs and the Detroit Lions totaled 41 points, as did the previous year’s kickoff game. In fact, of the last six games like this, just one topped this ambitious 46.5 game total.

Lastly, as capable as the offenses are in this one, the defenses are both pretty nasty. Baltimore had the top scoring defense a season ago, while the Chiefs actually ranked second.

Right now BetOnline is the best sportsbook to hit the Under for this week one NFL bet. They’re a great site for betting on the NFL in general, too, as they offer a 100% welcome bonus up to $500 over your first two deposits. Just use code DOUBLEUP when signing up.

Don’t miss out on their $100 sports free bet, either. If you want more information, you can check out our BetOnline review or head there now to bet on this wager.

Packers vs. Eagles – Over 48 (-110) at Bovada

Another isolated game is the NFL Brazil contest, which pits the Green Bay Packers against the Philadelphia Eagles. This is a battle between what should be two very good offenses, and it’s on a neutral field.

Green Bay left a strong impression during a surprising playoff run last year, and now quarterback Jordan Love is suddenly a legit candidate to win the 2024 NFL MVP award.

The point? Love and the Packers look ready to explode this year, and they certainly wasted no time displaying their potential on their only series of their first preseason game.

It might be somewhat difficult to find footing in an unknown setting like Brazil, but I still anticipate two talented offenses to put up some points in this one and give us one of the best NFL bets for week one.

You can find the game total at a palatable 49 at numerous NFL sportsbooks, but Bovada has the best total at just 48. That is the lowest I have seen it, and yet the price is still good (-110) to hammer the Over.

Bovada’s offering the best line, and they’re sure to be among the top options for week one NFL odds in general. It doesn’t hurt that they also have a lot of great bonuses. Sports bettors can get a $750 welcome bonus, specifically.

Bears vs. Titans – Bears ATS (-4) -110

I am confident in saying I’m not the only sports fan who can see the writing on the wall with the Chicago Bears. It didn’t exactly take them being featured on Hard Knicks to tell me this team is going places.

Landing Caleb Williams with the top pick in the 2024 NFL Draft pushes them over the top, but they’ve been making all the right moves for a while.

Williams is a generational quarterback talent, but he’s also walking into perhaps the best situation a #1 overall pick has ever seen.

I expect big things out of the Bears right away, and a home date with the Tennessee Titans isn’t about to disrupt that. The Titans could be a fun team in their own right, but they have too many obstacles here.

Whether it’s playing on the road against a spirited Bears squad, changing head coaches, confiding in Will Levis under center, or saying good-bye to Derrick Henry, there are simply too many questions marks.

Chicago should win in week one. Their -200 moneyline isn’t awful, but I prefer to just take them to cover. SportsBetting.ag is the top site to do so, as they offer a 4-point spread, as opposed to the 4.5-point spread you’ll see at other books.

49ers vs. Jets – Jets ATS (+5) -112

Aaron Rodgers makes his triumphant return after succumbing to a torn Achilles almost immediately last year. That alone puts the New York Jets on Super Bowl watch, and the scene in week one should be electrifying.

It also should harbor one of the top NFL bets to start the year.

The San Francisco 49ers remain very good, so fully betting on Gang Green to get the upset – as tempting as +179 odds may be – isn’t my first inclination. However, there is a lot to like about the Jets here.

First, head coach Robert Saleh knows the Niners quite well. He was the DC there for a while, and he knows the ins and outs of Kyle Shanahan’s offense. There’s also the presence of Rodgers, who should elevate New York’s passing game and open up lanes for stud running back, Breece Hall.

On the Niners side, it’s possible they are without star wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk. This is also a primetime game on the road, while San Fran wasn’t all that great (9-11) against the spread a year ago.

I actually think the Jets can win this, but the 5-point spread will do. That’s especially the case when most sportsbooks have them priced at 4.5 or 4. You can find that line at MyBookie right now.

What is the Best Site for Betting on the NFL in Week 1?

That does it for my best bets in the NFL in week one. You’ll want to act fast to hop on this exact pricing, while the suggested sites are my preferred choices for each wager.

They’re not the only sportsbooks for targeting week one NFL bets, though, and that search shouldn’t be conducted lightly.

Finding the top NFL sportsbook is never easy. To give it a shot, I’d lean on reliable sources like GamblingSites.com, which has an entire page dedicated to ranking the best NFL betting sites.

Our answer on that page currently has BetUS as the top dog, but other sites stand out for different reasons.

It also depends on which week one NFL bets you’re after. Odds, wager availability, and promos can all factor into that decision. Or, you can do something I always suggest – having multiple sportsbook accounts.

This way, you can take advantage of every sports betting bonus known to man, and also hop on advantage pricing the second you spot it. For example, my week one NFL best bets are admittedly only great if 1. they actually hit and/or 2. the sites keep the bet or odds how you see it above.

That’s why having a rolodex of NFL betting sites to turn to makes a ton of sense. All that said, BetUS is the way to go. You can head there now and see what they have to offer, or visit any of the other sites to roll with my best NFL bets for week one.
