The 2024 NFL division odds are live at most NFL betting sites. The question for most, of course, is which sportsbook offers the best odds, and which NFL teams should you be backing?

I can answer the first one with ease; BetUS has NFL division winner odds, and they’re some of the best you’ll find online. If you’re also here for NFL division predictions, I’ll look at each division and offer my top pick to win.

Odds to Win Each NFL Division in 2024

As mentioned, you can find some of the best NFL Division winner odds at BetUS. They’re a great sportsbook to use in general, but they also push out tons of NFL wagers and competitive odds.

You can read our detailed BetUS review for more info, or read on to see what you should do with their odds for NFL divisions this season.

2024 AFC East Odds

TeamOdds to Win AFC East
Buffalo Bills+170
New York Jets+180
Miami Dolphins+200
New England Patriots+2500

The Buffalo Bills lead the charge in the AFC East, which should shock nobody, seeing as they’ve claimed first place in the division in each of the past four seasons.

There was a changing of the guard of sorts, as New England had dominated for roughly two decades, but they’re now firmly projected to finish last in the division.

Miami’s explosive offense keeps them in the conversation with solid +200 AFC East betting odds, but the most compelling team in this division is undeniably New York.

The Jets are a popular pick amongst NFL talking heads, assuming star quarterback Aaron Rodgers is back to full strength.

It’s easy to see the optimism, as the Jets have two of the league’s more exciting stars in Garrett Wilson and Breece Hall. In addition, Gang Green has solid depth on their offensive roster, an elite defense, and a revamped offensive line.

No matter who you like to win the AFC East, everyone can agree that the Patriots aren’t really a threat. This is very much a three-team race, and it will be tough to peg the true favorite going into 2024.

Odds to Win the AFC North in 2024

TeamOdds to Win AFC North
Baltimore Ravens+130
Cincinnati Bengals+160
Cleveland Browns+550
Pittsburgh Steelers+700

The Ravens head into the 2024 NFL season as the clear favorite to win the AFC North – if not much more. Star duel threat passer Lamar Jackson is fresh off of his second NFL MVP award win, and if he can stay healthy, this team is the easy call.

Of course, it could be a bit more complicated than that.

The Bengals are borderline co-favorites at +160, which assumes quarterback Joe Burrow to be back at full strength after missing a big part of 2023 with a wrist ailment.

Cincy looks dangerous, but the best AFC North value bet could be Cleveland. The Browns were a playoff team last year even without Deshaun Watson. If he can regain his old form, the Browns may be one of the more intriguing NFL division winners bets.

The Steelers are tough to gauge, as they brought in veteran quarterback Russell Wilson in hopes of making a playoff return. Their pricing suggests that will be an uphill battle, while betting on Wilson to turn his career around at age 35 is likely a fool’s errand.

2024 AFC South Odds

TeamOdds to Win the AFC South
Houston Texans+105
Jacksonville Jaguars+270
Indianapolis Colts+325
Tennessee Titans+850

Betting on the AFC South feels pretty simple. Houston was the best team in this division a year ago, and they only got better.

If what CJ Stroud showed us all as a rookie is for real, he’s already among the league’s elite pocket passers. He also got a new toy after a trade for Stefon Diggs, making a dangerous offense absolutely lethal.

Houston isn’t the only team to consider if you’re betting on who will win the AFC South in 2024, though. Jacksonville has a capable offense with an experienced coaching staff, while the Colts may finally get to see what a full season with Anthony Richardson gets them.

The only team that feels out of this race may be Tennessee. They said goodbye to Derrick Henry and other veterans this off-season, but reloaded with the likes of Calvind Ridley and Tony Pollard.

The development of Will Levis could dictate whether or not the Titans are an amazing value bet or not, but it’s unlikely they make enough noise to threaten first place.

AFC West Betting Odds for 2024

TeamOdds to win the afc west
Kansas City Chiefs-250
Los Angeles Chargers+325
Las Vegas Raiders+900
Denver Broncos+1800

This is Kansas City’s world and we’re just living in it. The Chiefs once again have the best Super Bowl 59 odds, and nobody should be surprised that they are the clear betting favorite to win the AFC West.

Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce still exist, while KC added more weapons to their offense by acquiring Hollywood Brown and drafting Xavier Worthy. Bringing in the fastest football player of all-time will do, I’d say.

KC may not complete a three-peat, but they look poised to win their division for the ninth straight season.

The only team seemingly in their way is the Bolts. Jim Harbaugh’s arrival on the sidelines offers experience, and it wouldn’t be shocking to see the Chargers become more balanced, more efficient, and better defensively.

Of course, that change could come slowly. Even if it doesn’t, unseating the Chiefs in year one still feels like a reach.

Las Vegas, meanwhile, continue to be engulfed in Davante Adam trades rumors.

The Raiders lost Josh Jacobs in free agency and still don’t have an established quarterback they can trust. The framework of a contender might be there, but not having an answer under center is alarming.

Denver may have one, but incoming rookie Bo Nix offers no guarantees. Sean Payton continues his rebuild with the Broncos, but his squad isn’t a viable threat just yet.

Odds to Win the 2024 NFC East

TeamOdds to Win the NFC East
Philadelphia Eagles-115
Dallas Cowboys+150
Washington Commanders+900
New York Giants+1400

The NFC East runs through two teams; the Eagles and Cowboys. They both made the playoffs last year, and continue to boast potent offensive attacks and capable defenses.

One wacky stat to keep in mind is that this division hasn’t had a repeat champion since Philly went back-to-back three years in a row from 2002 to 2004. That trend could obviously end at any point, however.

New York may have gotten worse, as quarterback Daniel Jones is working his way back from a torn ACL, and running back Saquon Barkley now plays for the rival Eagles.

The Giants did draft well and improved their roster as a whole, but they’re still projected to finish in last place.

Washington added a new franchise passer via Jayden Daniels in this year’s draft. That could easily be the missing piece for them, and if it is, they could be an amazing value at +900. It’s likely that they’re another year form contending for the division, however.

2024 NFC North Odds

Teamodds to win the nfc north
Detroit Lions+145
Green Bay Packers+200
Chicago Bears+300
Minnesota Vikings+800

The Lions won the NFC North last year and are favored to do so again in 2024. They aren’t without competition, of course, and their +145 NFC North betting odds suggest they’re not exactly locks.

Detroit could easily suffer from a playoff hangover, as they had the NFC title game in the bag and blew it.

The NFC North looks like one of the most difficult divisions to predict this year. I do think the Green Bay Packers are the top team to watch here, seeing as Jordan Love is my pick to win this year’s NFL MVP award.

I wouldn’t completely rule out a magical rookie campaign for Caleb Williams, though. The #1 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft walks into an amazing situation with the Bears. Their coaching might be suspect, however.

Minnesota is set to take a huge step back. Kirk Cousins is now in ATL and they’re looking at Sam Darnold or a rookie under center. The good news? They did hold onto superstar wide receiver Justin Jefferson via a huge contract extension.

Betting Odds for the NFC South in 2024

Teamodds to win the nfc south
Atlanta Falcons-125
Tampa Bay Buccaneers+300
New Orleans Saints+375
Carolina Panthers+1100

The Falcons own the best odds to win the NFC South, and rightfully so. They appeared to have enough talent to contend a year ago, but simply lacked reliable direction or a competent signal caller.

Atlanta made sure those were non-issues, as they fired Arthur Smith and brought in two new quarterbacks. The health of Kirk Cousins will make or break them, but the Falcons have Super Bowl upside if all breaks right.

Tampa Bay isn’t too far behind the Falcons. They were a playoff team last year and now much has changed to suggest they can’t do so again.

New Orleans runs it back with Derek Carr and co., which is probably not ideal. They seem sort of stuck at this point, and after a disappointing 2023 run, the Saints don’t feel like serious NFC South threats.

Carolina is in the cellar of this division and are unlikely to move much in 2024. They did upgrade their coaching staff and appeared to draft well, but they’re another year or two from sniffing the playoffs.

Odds to Win the 2024 NFC West

TeamOdds to win the nfc west
San Francisco 49ers-200
Los Angeles Rams+325
Seattle Seahawks+700
Arizona Cardinals+1200

Lastly, we come to the 2024 NFC West odds, where the 49ers look like a lock. Their -200 betting odds aren’t super inviting, but they’re the most stacked team in the league, so betting against them feels silly.

The Niners have been caught up in Brandon Aiyuk trade rumors, though. If he’s suddenly shipped out of town, perhaps there will be a weakness in their armor.

The Rams are probably the most logical threat to storm the castle this year. Matthew Stafford can still ball and he’s got a loaded offenses around him. The retirement of Aaron Donald does take some sting out of L.A.’s defense though.

Seattle kicked head coach Pete Carroll to the curb last year, while Arizona still feels like they’re in the midst of a mini-rebuild. Both teams are still in play to win the NFC West despite what their odds suggest, but they’re nothing more than flier bets.

Best NFL Division Winner Value Bets for 2024

  • Cleveland Browns +550
  • Green Bay Packers +200
  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers
  • Arizona Cardinals +1200

I will certainly offer the disclosure that not every NFL division sleeper pick will pan out. However, the teams listed above absolutely offer interesting value for 2024.

As noted, the Browns were a playoff team last year. They made post-season play despite losing star quarterback Deshaun Watson for the year. If he’s healthy and plays well, the Browns are going to be tough to keep out of the first place race.

Green Bay and Tampa Bay offer less value, but they’re better bets. The Packers admittedly still have a lot to prove, but they’re regarded by many as Super Bowl contenders already.

If that’s true, then the green and gold should be seen as viable NFC North threats.

Tampa Bay made the playoffs last year and might be getting better. They held onto veteran wide receiver Mike Evans, while Baker Mayfield impressed with a career year. More importantly, if Kirk Cousins doesn’t successfully return from a torn Achilles, the Bucs – not the Falcons – may be the team to beat in the NFC South.

Lastly, the Cardinals are the ultimate flier bet at their +1200 NFC West odds.

San Francisco is almost surely winning that division, but Arizona’s offense is potentially a ton of fun. A healthy Kyler Murray is enough to get them in the conversation, but AZ also drafted perhaps the NFL Draft’s best wide receiver in Marvin Harrison Jr.

2024 NFL Division Winner Predictions

NFC EastDallas Cowboys +150
NFC NorthGreen Bay Packers +200

NFC WestSan Francisco 49ers -200

While I am all for hunting for appealing NFL division sleeper picks, I do think it pays to be realistic when betting on the NFL.

That’s why I have zero qualms with either just betting hard on big favorites like the Chiefs, 49ers, and Falcons – or simply ignoring their respective divisions. However, those teams are the cream of the crop in their divisions, barring injury.

I think there’s plenty of palatable value elsewhere, though. The Jets, Bengals, Cowboys, and Packers all offer solid NFL division winner odds, and aren’t at all unrealistic pivots off of their respective favorites.

You can go a bit bigger in some spots, as noted, with the Bucs, Browns, and Cardinals being among my favorite NFL division winner sleepers. That said, if you go with my 2024 NFL division predictions above, I think you’ll be in good hands.

Betting on NFL Divisions in 2024

The best thing to do when betting on NFL division winners is to bet early and be as logical as possible. Betting on huge underdogs really only has merit if you can provide sound reasoning for doing so.

Could Drake Maye come in and light the NFL up and lead the Patriots to the AFC East crown? Sure, but it’s not very likely, and even if he does play exceptionally well, there are still three nasty teams in his division.

This means we can bet on some favorites pretty confidently. Teams like the Chiefs and 49ers are good examples of NFL division winners we can decide to back while eating some cost, or just avoid and look for better value elsewhere.

Hopefully my 2024 NFL division odds breakdown helps you place some winning bets this year. If you need more insight as to how to bet on the NFL, stop by our football betting guide.
