NFL player prop bets are a thrilling way to wager on the most anticipated matchups this weekend. Multiple divisional games are scheduled for Week 4, as well as four exciting prime-time games. To add to the excitement, several teams across the NFL are battling to keep their seasons alive.

This guide will break down the best player props bets in the NFL this weekend. I will highlight my favorite props from top NFL betting sites and explain why they are great bets for this weekend.

Bovada Sportsbook provided the odds for these Week 4 NFL player props.

Brian Thomas Jr. 1+ TDs (+229)

The Jaguars (0-3) are searching for their first win of the season, and another loss this weekend could effectively eliminate Jacksonville from the playoffs.

Jacksonville is desperate for a win and faces a tough road matchup against the Texans this Sunday in Houston.

One of the few bright spots on the Jaguars’ offense this year has been rookie WR Brian Thomas Jr. The rookie had a career-high in targets (9) and receptions (5) in Monday’s blowout loss to the Bills. However, Thomas Jr. has not scored since Week 1.

A big reason for Thomas Jr.’s scoring struggles has been the Jaguars’ lack of production as a whole. Houston has a tough defense, but they are also coming off of their worst game of the season. If Jacksonville can exploit the same weaknesses the Vikings did, they should at least score enough points to keep the game close.

I think Thomas Jr. will end his scoring drought this weekend. He is listed at +229 to score at least one touchdown this Sunday, which gives him the second-best odds of any Jaguars player.

Bovada Best Site for Week 4 NFL Player Props

Bovada is my top pick for betting on NFL player props in week 4. Not only are they one of the quickest sites to release odds for props, but they also offer some of the best pricing and wagers you’ll find.

This is also a fantastic sportsbook to use in general, as Bovada as a great prop bet builder and a parlay booster. You can take advantage of their $750 sports welcome bonus ahead of this week’s games, or you can go bigger for their $3,750 welcome bonus if you also enjoy playing casino games.

Chris Godwin 1+ TDs and Buccaneers Win (+299)

Another Week 4 NFL player prop bet I think will cash this weekend is for Chris Godwin to score at least once in Tampa Bay’s matchup against Philadelphia. Godwin is listed at +160 to score, and the Buccaneers are +120 underdogs at home against the Eagles.

You can combine Godwin’s TD scorer odds and the Buccaneers’ moneyline to get +299 odds in this player performance double at Bovada. Both legs of this bet have to win for the wager to cash.

Godwin has emerged as Baker Mayfield’s favorite target this year. The eighth-year wide receiver leads the Buccaneers in target (25) and receiving yards (253). Godwin also has the most receiving touchdowns on the team (3), scoring once every game this season.

Tampa Bay beat Philly in the playoffs last year, and the Eagles’ pass defense has struggled this season. The Eagles have allowed five passing TDs this year, tied for the fifth-most. I think Godwin will continue his scoring streak this week in an upset win for the Buccaneers.

Alvin Kamara Over 69.5 Rushing Yards (-110)

Speaking of teams in the NFC South, the Falcons host the Saints this weekend in a battle of preseason favorites to win the division. Both teams lost last week, and a win this week could put their seasons back on track.

New Orleans dominated opponents in their first two games, largely thanks to their rushing attack. I think the Saints will try to establish the run early and often in this divisional matchup, leading to a big day for running back Alvin Kamara.

Bovada has Kamara listed at over/under 69.5 rushing yards against the Falcons this Sunday. Kamara has had at least 83 yards on the ground in every game this season. He also has at least 110 scrimmage yards every week so far.

Running the ball has been the key to New Orleans’ success this year, and Sunday should be no different. I expect Kamara to get his usual workload of 15+ rush attempts, which should be enough for him to get at least 70 yards on the ground.

Josh Allen Over 235.5 Passing Yards (-114)

Week 4’s SNF matchup is a showdown between perennial playoff contenders in the AFC. Baltimore, coming off its first win of the season, will take on the undefeated Bills in Buffalo.

My recommended Week 4 NFL player prop bet for this game is for Josh Allen to have over 235.5 passing yards (-114).

Allen and the Bills have dominated their last two opponents, beating the Dolphins and the Jaguars by a combined score of 78-20. Both blowout wins came in prime time, too, and I think the Bills are poised for another impressive showing on SNF.

Buffalo has not needed Allen to throw the ball a lot to win this season. He finished Monday’s blowout win with just 263 passing yards, the most he has had this season. However, Baltimore should present a more formidable challenge, leading to a more pass-heavy attack from the Bills.

Assuming the Ravens avoid the early blowout, the Bills will not be able to just run out the clock like they have in recent weeks. With that in mind, my sports betting strategy advice is to bet the over on Allen’s passing yards this weekend.

Amon-Ra St. Brown Over 74.5 Receiving Yards (-115)

The final bet on my picks of the best NFL player prop bets is for Amon-Ra St. Brown to have over 74.5 receiving yards against the Seahawks. Detroit hosts Seattle in the second game of Week 4’s MNF doubleheader.

St. Brown had a slow start to the year, catching just three passes for 13 yards in the opener. In the two games since St. Brown has 18 receptions on 26 targets for 194 yards. He had exactly 75 receiving yards last week, and I think St. Brown will have at least 75 yards receiving this week.

Seattle has allowed just 473 passing yards this season, the third least of any NFL defense. However, the list of quarterbacks the Seahawks have played this year includes the likes of Jacoby Brissett and Skylar Thompson.

The Lions’ passing attack will be more challenging to contain. Also, star Tight End Sam LaPorta has a sprained ankle, so St. Brown must carry more of the receiving workload this weekend. He should cover his receiving total on MNF.
