NFL player prop bets are a fun and engaging way to bet on the second week of the season. All 32 teams are playing this week, so you can choose from hundreds of thrilling player props.

I will break down my favorite player prop bets for this weekend from one of the top NFL betting sites. I will detail the odds for each player prop and tell you why I believe it is one of the best Week 2 NFL bets.

The following NFL player props for Week 2 were provided by BetOnline Sportsbook.

Derrick Henry Over 72.5 Rushing Yards (-120)

The Ravens have lost on opening night to the Chiefs in Kansas City. Baltimore should be able to get into the win column this week with a much easier matchup against Las Vegas.

BetOnline has the Ravens listed as 10-point favorites at home this weekend.

One of the best ways for Baltimore to get its season back on track is to lean on its running game. Derrick Henry is listed at over/under 72.5 rushing yards for Sunday’s game against the Raiders. The football betting strategy I recommended for this bet is to take the over.

Las Vegas allowed 176 rushing yards in its 22-10 loss in Week 1 to the LA Chargers. In fairness to the Raiders, 107 of those yards came on just two carries by J.K. Dobbins. Dobbins is in LA, though, because the Ravens let him walk so they could sign Henry.

Henry only needs a moderate workload to get over 72.5 yards on the ground this weekend. He had just 46 yards on 13 carries in the opening loss to KC, but I believe Henry will get more carries and easily exceed 72.5 yards against Las Vegas.

Accessibility is key when betting on NFL player props, and BetOnline passes the eye test in that regard. It’s also a fantastic sportsbook when it comes to bonuses and promotions, plus the site offers a litany of contests and other rewards.

CeeDee Lamb At Least 1 Touchdown (-125)

Another star looking to bounce back from a lackluster Week 1 performance this Sunday is Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb. Dallas dominated the Browns 33-17 in the Cleveland, but Lamb had just 61 receiving yards on five catches.

Lamb led the team in receptions and yards, but his stats were subpar compared to his normal performance. Dallas went up big early and started to play conservatively, which is a big reason for Lamb’s less-than-stellar performance.

The Cowboys will need more from Lamb in their home opener this weekend against the Saints. Lamb is available at -125 to score at least one touchdown this weekend. He failed to score last week, so a touchdown this weekend would be his first of the season.

Dallas has been dominant at home, earning a 16-1 record and beating opponents by an average of 10 points over the last two years. The Cowboys offense, including Lamb, should be much better this weekend, and I think #88 will find the end-zone on Sunday.

As much as I love Lamb to score, I still think his game will be close. That’s why I have the Saints among my top NFL picks against the spread in week 2.

Amon-Ra St. Brown 1+ TD and Lions Win (+122)

Amon-Ra St. Brown is also a star wide receiver hoping for a better performance in Week 2. The Lions beat the Rams 26-20 on Sunday Night Football, but St. Brown was held to just three catches for 13 yards.

St. Brown finished fourth on the team in receptions and receiving yards, behind Jameson Williams (four catches, 121 yards), Sam LaPorta (four catches, 45 yards), and Jahmyr Gibbs (four catches, 34 yards). Detroit needs a better performance out of St. Brown if they want to beat the Buccaneers this weekend.

BetOnline a player double prop bet available for St. Brown to score at least one touchdown and the Lions to win. You can get this player double bet at +122 odds. St. Brown is listed at even money to score, and Detroit is a -315 moneyline favorite at home.

I think Tampa Bay is a good ATS bet to cover the 7-point spread in Week 2. The Lions are a risky bet in sports contests like NFL survivor leagues, but they should win if St. Brown finds the end-zone this week.

Justin Jefferson Over 6.5 Receptions (-143)

Next on my list of the best Week 2 NFL player props is for Justin Jefferson to have over 6.5 receptions (-143) against the San Francisco 49ers.

Jefferson caught four passes and racked up 59 yards and one touchdown in the season opener.

His stat line did not jump off the page, but the Vikings were also playing the Giants. Minnesota took an early lead and controlled the game with its rushing attack. San Francisco will be a significantly more challenging opponent.

BetOnline has San Fran listed as a 3-point road favorite in this game. The Vikings need Jefferson to be at his best to upset the 49ers. I expect Sam Darnold to target Jefferson early and often in this matchup.

The 49ers have a great defense, but they did allow three different Jets players to have five or more receptions in the season opener. Jefferson is one of the best receivers in the league and should be able to catch at least seven passes this weekend.

Sam Darnold Over 0.5 Interceptions (-154)

Another Week 2 NFL player prop bet I like for the 49ers-Vikings matchup is for Sam Darnold to have over 0.5 interceptions (-154).

Darnold had a good debut against the Giants, but now he will face a real defense against San Francisco. He was also on the 49ers last season, so the team knows Darnold better than most opponents.

The 49ers picked off Aaron Rodgers, one of the least turnover-prone quarterbacks in NFL history. Darnold, on the other hand, has played 67 games in his career and has 57 interceptions, including one last week against the Giants.

Minnesota will need to throw the ball at some point to keep pace with the 49ers offense. As I mentioned above, I expect Jefferson to be a frequent target. San Francisco also knows Darnold wants to throw to Jefferson and should have plenty of opportunities for an interception in this game.

Jerome Ford At Least 1 Touchdown (+170)

Cleveland was favored at home in Week 1, but they lost to the Dallas Cowboys in humiliating fashion. One of the few bright spots on the Browns offense in their home opener was running back Jerome Ford, who started in place of the injured Nick Chubb.

Ford only had 12 carries for 44 yards, but he did score a touchdown. The Browns were trailing early in the game and had to abandon the run, rushing just 17 times. Despite the deficit, Ford did receive enough running attempts late to secure a touchdown in the fourth quarter.

I believe Cleveland will recommit to the run this weekend on the road against the Jaguars. Jacksonville built an early double-digit lead against the Dolphins, forcing Miami to pass the ball more to secure its comeback victory. The Browns need to run the ball early and often to control the clock and take pressure off of their much-maligned quarterback, Deshaun Watson.

BetOnline has Ford listed at +170 odds to score a touchdown this weekend. Ford should be an important part of the Browns’ game plan this week and is a good bet to score a touchdown.

Cooper Kupp 2+ TDs and Rams Win (+700)

The final wager on my list of the best NFL player prop bets for Week 2 is another player double, this time for Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp.

LA placed several players on IR after Week 1, including Puka Nacua. With Nacua out, the Rams need a vintage performance out of Kupp.

BetOnline has the Rams listed as a 1-point underdog on the road this weekend in Arizona. Kupp is listed at -125 to have at least one touchdown and +400 to have at least two. You can bet on Kupp to finish with at least two touchdowns in a Rams win at +700 odds.

LA lost to the Lions in Week 1, and they cannot afford to start the season 0-2. Kupp had 110 yards and a touchdown on 14 catches in the loss. Given the injuries to the rest of the offense, Matt Stafford will need to lean heavily on Kupp for the Rams to secure the road upset.

Arizona has played Kupp well in the past, holding him to just one touchdown in their last four matchups. However, I think Kupp is poised for a big game this weekend, especially with Nacua out of the lineup.
