  • The full list of One Fight Night 17 odds have been released by online sportsbooks such as 22Bet.
  • Saemapetch Fairtex is expected to exact his revenge over Felipe Lobo on the evening of December 8.
  • Jo Nattawut’s One Fight Night 17 odds (-256) suggest he will have an easy job against Niclas Larsen.

Even though we’re a few weeks away from the event, some online sportsbooks have already released their One Fight Night 17 odds.

The event was initially meant to be headlined by a Superbon title fight, but that bout was rescheduled to a later date.

Despite that, the fight card of ONE Fight Night 17 on Prime Video is still packed with exciting matchups, most notably Felipe Lobo vs. Saemapetch Fairtex and Niclas Larsen vs. Jo Nattawut.

The One Fight Night 17 betting odds suggest favorites will have an easy job on December 8, but I suspect we might see a couple of big surprises.

What Are the Odds for One Fight Night 17?

Edgar Tabares TBA Johan Ghazali TBA

The One Fight Night 17 odds you see in the table above are courtesy of 22Bet.

If you’re unfamiliar with this gambling site, 22Bet is famous for covering niche sports (sumo, bare-knuckle boxing, Kun Khmer, etc.) and being one of the best online betting sites for cashing out.

This online sportsbook is also famous for its tendency to publish odds earlier than most other MMA betting sites. Actually, 22Bet’s oddsmakers were super-quick to release the odds for this event, doing it weeks before anyone else. And their odds are usually lucrative from a bettor’s perspective.

This goes especially for those who like backing underdogs. As you can see, Felipe Lobo’s One Fight Night 17 betting odds are +217 against Saemapetch Fairtex, whom he defeated once last year.

Then, there’s Niclas Larsen, whose One Fight Night 17 odds of +189 suggest he will lose to Jo Nattawut. However, keep in mind that Larsen is bigger and stronger than his opponent.

Does this all mean that my One Fight Night 17 prediction is that underdogs will win? That’s the question I’ll try to answer in the next section of my betting guide.

Just know that 22Bet is a great site for gamblers as it accepts a wide variety of payment methods and offers a gambling app for those who want to bet on the go.

Best Bets for One Fight Night 17

  • Felipe Lobo to Beat Saemapetch Fairtex (+217)
  • Niclas Larsen to Beat Jo Nattawut (+189)

One of my top One Fight Night 17 bets is that Felipe Lobo will beat Saemapetch Fairtex.

The Brazilian did it once already, and I think he can do it again. He was the underdog in their first fight, and the same is the case with their fight scheduled for December 8.

I think Lobo can stage an upset two times in a row, but bookmakers don’t agree with me on this one; they’re giving +217 One Fight Night 17 odds on the Brazilian. The reason is that his opponent has more experience than him.

The Thai fighter is 126-19-1 in his Muay Thai career, which started back in 2013. On the other hand, Lobo started his journey in 2018 after leaving his native Brazil for Thailand.

Since then, “Demolition Man” has fought many elite opponents, suffering only one loss along the way. The defeat in question happened against the former bantamweight champion of the world, Nong-O Hama.

When it comes to Niclas Larsen, his One Fight Night 17 odds suggest he’s going to lose, but I beg to differ. The 6’1 Danish kickboxer is almost three inches taller than his opponent and has a reach that’s almost three inches longer.

Jo Nattawut just doesn’t do great against big and tall guys. I did my research and found that the last time he defeated a fighter who was over 6 feet was in 2019 when he beat Samy Sana by unanimous decision.

I can’t say I’m 100% confident Larsen will win this fight, but I’m absolutely sure he can go the distance with Nattawut.

Full One Fight Night 17 Card Predictions

  • Felipe Lobo to Beat Saemapetch Fairtex
  • Niclas Larsen to Beat Jo Nattawut
  • Walter Goncalves to Beat Jacob Smith
  • Edgar Tabarez to Beat Johan Ghazali
  • Nguyen Tran Duy Nhat to Beat Denis Puric

In addition to Niclas Larsen and Felipe Lobo, I have predictions for another three fights.

The first one is Walter Goncalves. The Brazilian is 1-4 since joining ONE Championship, but before that, he had an excellent record in other promotions, winning more than half of his fights.

Then, there’s Edgar Tabarez, the first Mexican in history to win a WBC Muay Thai title. He joined ONE Championship earlier this year and lost his first two fights – to Rodtang Jitmuangnon (champ) and Elias Mahmoudi. Will he get his first win in the promotion on December 8? I say yes!

Nguyen Tran Duy Nhat is one of the greatest-ever Muay Thai fighters from Vietnam. He comes from a long generation of fighters and has experience with all sorts of martial arts – Kun Khmer, Lethwei, boxing, etc.

This guy is undefeated since joining ONE Championship in 2019 with a 2-0 record. My prediction is that he’ll get to 3-0 at One Fight Night 17.

That’s going to wrap up my One Fight Night 17 predictions, but this isn’t the only MMA event happening to make some real money. Be sure to check out the 2023 PFL World Championship odds at the top gambling sites.

No matter what MMA event you wager on, make sure you’re using the top sportsbooks for mixed martial arts betting markets.
