  • One of the top Super Bowl 58 sleepers is the Jacksonville Jaguars, who have a +2000 price at BetUS.
  • The Seahawks and Chargers have +4000 Super Bowl odds and talent on both sides of the ball.
  • Aaron Rodgers’ fast recovery makes the New York Jets an appealing sleeper with a +6600 price.

It takes guts to bet on Super Bowl 58 sleepers, but we aren’t afraid of a challenge. If we play our cards right and make the right prediction, we could have a massive payout at the end of the year.

No, these Super Bowl sleepers won’t have the best chance to win compared to the top dogs. However, anything is possible in the NFL. You can also set yourself up for a hedge bet by taking advantage of the valuable odds.

There are many reasons to bet on one of the Super Bowl 58 sleepers. Find out which ones I am targeting for this year below!

What Are the Best 2023 Super Bowl Sleepers?

My favorite Super Bowl 2024 sleepers are going to be the Jacksonville Jaguars, Seattle Seahawks, Los Angeles Chargers, and New York Jets.

You might not think these teams have what it takes to win the Super Bowl this season, but that’s exactly why they are on my list.

Super Bowl sleeper bets are far from a sure thing. The top betting sites aren’t going to award you with a lot of money by betting on a top contender like the Kansas City Chiefs or San Francisco 49ers. Sleepers are riskier, which is why they offer increased payouts.

That said, you don’t just want to place your bet on any team with longshot odds. You still have to be selective with your picks. The reason why these four teams are my favorite sleepers for Super Bowl 58 is because they all have something to be excited about.

It’s also worth mentioning that the Super Bowl odds will shift throughout the year. These sleeper teams have favorable odds right now, so it’s important to take advantage while we have the opportunity.

I’ll dive more into what I like from each of my 2024 Super Bowl sleeper picks below. I also recommend reading our football betting guide if you’re looking for more helpful tips and strategies.

Jacksonville Jaguars (+2000)

Out of all my Super Bowl sleepers for 2024, you get the lowest return on your investment by betting on the Jaguars. The reason is that the top sportsbooks think they have a higher chance of pulling it off.

I’d like to think they are right in the sweet spot between the top contenders and the teams you’ll want to avoid. They have a great roster and are coming off an impressive season. If they can continue to improve, Jacksonville can make an even deeper run into the playoffs.

The main reason why Jacksonville is one of the top Super Bowl sleeper bets is because of Trevor Lawrence. Lawrence has blossomed into a star quarterback in his third season and second under Doug Pederson.

Jacksonville’s offense has plenty of weapons at his disposal as well. Calvin Ridley, Christian Kirk, and Evan Engram are all viable pass catchers. Travis Etienne is also a dynamic running back who has chemistry with Lawrence dating back to their days at Clemson.

Defensively, Jacksonville has quietly been one of the top units in the NFL. They rank as a top 10 team in points allowed per game (19.5). Jacksonville has been stout against the run and is tied for the second-most interceptions (11) through the first half of the season.

Overall, there’s a lot to like about the Jaguars. Don’t be surprised if they end up making another deep playoff run and possibly making it to the Super Bowl.

Seattle Seahawks (+4000)

Another team that I think is flying under the radar right now is the Seattle Seahawks.

They just got demolished by the Ravens, but they still have plenty of time to turn things around. San Francisco was expected to run away with the NFC West this year, but Seattle has the same record as them through eight weeks (5-3).

San Francisco remains a top contender for the Super Bowl, but they still have flaws. They are currently on a surprising three-game losing streak, which keeps Seattle in the division race.

Seattle is not being considered a Super Bowl contender right now, but that just means we get better odds for them. The Seahawks have talent on both sides of the ball and could pull off some upsets later this season.

Offensively, they have an exceptional group of playmakers. D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett were already a great duo, and the Seahawks added a talented rookie to the mix. Jaxon Smith-Njigba has been picking up the pace as of late and gives Seattle three capable receivers for Geno Smith to throw to.

Not only that, but Kenneth Walker and Zach Charbonnet are two solid running backs as well. If they can catch fire at the end of the season, Seattle could make some noise.

Oh, and don’t forget about their great defense. Devon Witherspoon and Riq Woolen give them two playmaking corners, and the return of Jamal Adams will be huge for them as well. If Adams can get back to playing like his former self, we could have Legion of Boom 2.0 on our hands.

Seattle is one of my top Super Bowl 58 value bets. You can visit Bovada if you want to bet on their odds. This football betting strategy could also come in handy for the Super Bowl and the rest of the season.

Los Angeles Chargers (+4000)

Justin Hebert

The Chargers are known for their unreliability, which is why they are more of a Super Bowl sleeper than a top contender.

We’ve witnessed plenty of meltdowns over the last few seasons by Los Angeles, but what if this is the year they figure it out?

After all, they are way healthier this year than last (knock on wood) and have superstars everywhere. Justin Herbert has all the talent in the world at the most important position in football.

The injury to Mike Williams hurts their playmaking group, but they still have enough firepower. As the weeks go by, Quentin Johnston should be able to get more comfortable in the offense. If he reaches his potential sooner rather than later, he can help the Chargers put a ton of points on the board.

Los Angeles also has a lethal pass rush and a lot of talent in the secondary. Opposing quarterbacks will have to get the ball out fast, with Khalil Mack and Joey Bosa coming in hot.

The Chargers have had major issues with health and consistency over the years. If they can clean up these issues, Los Angeles could be a real Super Bowl threat. I recommend placing your bets on the Chargers at a reputable sportsbook like BetOnline.

New York Jets (+6600)

When it comes to Super Bowl 58 value bets, no other team on my list has as high of a return on investment than the New York Jets. I shopped around for the best odds and found they have +6600 odds at Sports Interaction.

They say defense wins championships, and the Jets have one of the best units in the NFL. Robert Saleh’s squad constantly shuts down opposing offenses and gives their team a chance to win.

New York is in a tough division with Miami and Buffalo, but they should be in contention for the Wild Card later this season. What’s impressive about this is that they’ve been staying afloat since Aaron Rodgers tore his Achilles.

Their offense has been putrid, but the Jets have been styling alive. Rodgers is also walking without a limp after just eight weeks. It seems like he’s on his way to an unprecedented return from an injury initially thought to cost him the season.

This could be the final piece to the Jets’ puzzle. Their offense would take a drastic step forward with Rodgers back, and their defense should remain elite. There’s significant risk here, but the upside is definitely there for New York.

You’ll want to make sure you take advantage of their odds while you can.

Are Super Bowl Sleepers Worth Your Time?

Football with money

So, why should you consider betting on these Super Bowl 58 sleepers?

Well, the main reason why you bet on longshots is for the upside. You get much more of a return on your investment by betting on a sleeper team rather than a longshot.

For example, a team like the Kansas City Chiefs might have a +500 price right now. A $100 bet on the Chiefs would win $500, but the same wager could win $4,000 if you bet on the Seahawks or Chargers at +4000.

There’s more risk involved when betting on sleepers for the 2024 Super Bowl. So, are they even worth your time? I’d say that they absolutely are. Even if they don’t win, you can hedge your bet before the Super Bowl and make a profit.

The only way to do that is to take advantage of their odds right now. I recommend doing so on the best online Super Bowl betting sites.
