Top 10 Super Bowl 59 Prop Bets

Super Bowl Prop Bets

This year’s Super Bowl prop bets feature many of the biggest stars in the sport. Philadelphia faces Kansas City in the Big Game for the second time in three years. Both teams are full of star power, and there are hundreds of thrilling props for this year’s Super Bowl.

This guide highlights my top Super Bowl props for this year’s Big Game. I will tell you my top 10 prop wagers for Super Bowl 59 and give my predictions for each.

Saquon Barkley Anytime TD Scorer

Super Bowl Prop BetOdds
Full game anytime TD scorer-200
1st half anytime TD scorer+140
1st quarter anytime TD scorer+400

Saquon Barkley’s scoring props have made fans a lot of money at top Super Bowl betting sites this season.

Barkley has carried Philadelphia to a Super Bowl appearance in his first year with the team. He will undoubtedly be a key part of the Eagles’ game plan for the Big Game.

Barkley scored three times in the NFC title game, including a 60-yard touchdown on Philly’s first play of the game. He is listed at -200 odds to score in Super Bowl 59. However, you can get better value if you shorten his scoring window to the first half or the first quarter.

KC had one of the top rushing defenses in the regular season and will do its best to stop Barkley. A first-quarter score is too risky for my blood, but I think Barkley will find the endzone in the first half.

Patrick Mahomes Total Passing Touchdowns

Total Passing TouchdownsOdds
1+ passing TDs-1000
2+ passing TDs-160
3+ passing TDs+225
4+ passing TDs+750

Kansas City is the betting favorite for Super Bowl 59 for one reason: they have Patrick Mahomes. The Chiefs have made it to at least the conference championship round every year since Mahomes became the starter.

Bovada has competitive odds for Mahomes’s total passing TDs on Super Bowl Sunday. Options range from 1+ passing TDs (-1000) to 4+ passing TDs (+750) in the current Super Bowl 59 odds

Mahomes scored three passing scores in the Chiefs comeback win over the Eagles in Super Bowl 57. KC is a more balanced team now, and Mahomes has not been shy about scrambling near the goal line in the postseason. Considering that, I think the 2+ passing TDs (-160) option is the best bet for this market.

Noah Gray Receiving Yards

Receiving YardsOdds
25+ receiving yards+250
40+ receiving yards+700
50+ receiving yards+1100
60+ receiving yards+1600

Football is a team sport, and the players around Mahomes must step up for KC to win its third straight Lombardi. One player in particular who I believe can have a big role in Super Bowl 59 is Noah Gray. Travis Kelce gets all the attention, which should create opportunities for Gray.

Gray has caught 100% of his targets in his last five starts but was not targeted in the AFC title game. He also has not exceeded 21 receiving yards since Week 14. On the other hand, his +250 odds for at least 25 receiving yards are too good to pass up.

Successful 2-Point Conversion (+220)

In addition to player-specific props, Bovada has dozens of Super Bowl 59 game props. For instance, you can wager on a successful 2-point conversion attempt at +220.

When these teams squared off two years ago, Jalen Hurts secured a 2-point conversion to cap off the illusive Big Game octopus.

Teams have struggled to convert 2-point tries this postseason. However, the Eagles and the Chiefs have the playmakers and creative offensive minds to secure at least one successful attempt on Super Bowl Sunday.

First Person Mentioned by the Super Bowl MVP

First Person MentionedOdds
God/Jesus-105
Teammates+100
City+1000
Family or family members+1400
Coach+1800
Owner+3500
None of the above+1800

Super Bowl MVP is another popular prop wager for the Big Game. In addition to betting on the winner, you can also wager on the MVP’s acceptance speech.

For this bet, you do not need to specify the winner, only who the MVP mentions first in their acceptance speech.

Having an MVP in mind can still be helpful when making this bet. For reference, Bovada lists Mahomes (+100), Barkley (+275), and Jalen Hurts (+375) as the top MVP contenders in its latest Super Bowl 2025 prop bets.

Mahomes has won the Super Bowl MVP three times, and he mentioned his teammates first in two of his acceptance speeches. He is the favorite again, and I think Mahomes mentioning his teammates first (+100) is the best option in this Super Bowl 59 prop bet.

Color of Liquid Poured on Winning Coach

Liquid ColorOdds
Purple+175
Blue +325
Lime/Green/Yellow+325
Orange+450
Clear/Water+700
Red+800
No Liquid+1800

One of the top novelty Super Bowl prop bets every year is the color of the Gatorade dumped on the winning team’s coach.

KC has poured purple Gatorade on Andy Reid each of the last two seasons, but they used orange in their Super Bowl 54 victory celebration.

Conversely, Philadelphia used yellow when it won Super Bowl 51. The Eagles also dumped yellow Gatorade on Nick Sirianni when they defeated the Commanders in the NFC Championship Game.

For no reason other than superstition, I believe the Chiefs will stick with purple Gatorade (+175) for their three-peat attempt. Philly seems to prefer the lime/green/yellow (+325) variety. I am picking the Chiefs to win, so I recommend betting on purple for this Super Bowl 2025 prop bet.

Length of National Anthem

Anthem LengthOdds
Over 120.5 seconds-180
Under 120.5 seconds+135

The signing of the National Anthem is also a popular betting market for football fans wagering on the Big Game. Reba finished last year’s anthem in just 95 seconds. Jon Batiste has the honor of singing this year’s anthem, and his performance is listed at over/under 120.5 seconds.

Four straight Super Bowl anthem performances have gone over their projected time. Eight of the previous 12 renditions have also gone over 120 seconds. I think Batiste will continue the trend of longer-than-projected anthem performances and cover the total in this prop.

Drake Curse

Team Supported by DrakeOdds
Kansas City Chiefs-170
Philadelphia Eagles+130

Super Bowl 59 could be challenging for Drake, who must watch Kendrick Lamar perform the halftime show. Drake and Kendrick’s beef resulted in the Grammy-nominated hit “Not Like Us” and helped Kendrick secure the halftime show performance.

Drake’s Super Bowl pick could also have a tough Sunday in New Orleans. The rapper is a well-known sports bettor, but many predictions go south. According to thedrakecurse.com, Drake has won just 27 of his last 73 publicly posted bets.

Bovada lists the Chiefs (-170) as the favorite to be burdened with the Drake Curse this year. He wagered on KC last year, and I believe he will do it again this year to try and beat the curse allegations.

Number of Songs in Kendrick Lamar’s Halftime Show Set

Number of SongsOdds
Over 9.5 songs-150
Under 9.5 songs+110

Speaking of Kendrick Lamar, dozens of wagers for his Super Bowl 59 halftime performance are available. For instance, he is listed at over/under 9.5 songs for his Big Game halftime show.

Sza has already been confirmed as one special guest who will join Kendrick on stage, and I suspect there will be others. Multiple guests usually lead to longer sets, so I recommend taking the over on 9.5 halftime show songs.

Result of Opening Coin Toss

ResultOdds
Heads-105
Tails -105

Rounding out my list of the 10 best Super Bowl 59 prop bets is this bet forte result of the opening coin toss. The flip of a coin is as close to a 50-50 bet as there is in sports. Both outcomes, heads and tails, are listed at -105 odds in this prop bet.

Three of the last Super Bowl coin tosses have come up heads. There have been plenty of dominant runs by “tails” as well.  My prediction is tails, but bettors should go with their guts on this bet.
