The early Survivor season 48 odds are finally open for fans of the popular reality show. You can wager on every castaway and lock in your bet for the entire season.

This guide analyzes the opening Survivor 48 betting odds. I break down the current odds for favorites and sleepers for the upcoming season and provide my prediction for the winner.

Latest Survivor Season 48 Odds

Odds to Win Survivor 2025
Mitch Guerra (+250)
Stephanie Berger (+500)
Kamilla Karthigesu (+700)
Saiounia Hughley (+800)
Thomas Krottinger (+800)
Star Toomey (+800)
Mary Zheng (+800)
Joe Hunter (+900)
Kevin Leung (+1000)
Eva Erickson (+1000)

You can wager on 17 of the 18 castaways for season 48 of Survivor. Mitch Guerra, a P.E. coach from Texas, is the +250 favorite to win. Stephanie Berger (+500) and Kamilla Karthigesu (+700) are also listed in the top three.

There is a four-way tie for the next-best odds. Saiounia “Sai” Hughley, Thomas Krottinger, Star Toomey, and Mary Zheng are all available at 8-1 in the opening Survivor 48 odds.

The one castaway consistently missing from the opening Survivor 48 odds is Shauhin Davari, a 38-year-old debate professor from California. His absence from odds boards at top entertainment betting sites could mean Davari is destined for a short stay on the island.

More markets will open after the Survivor 48 premiere on Wednesday, February 26th. Fans will be able to bet on new markets, such as the winning tribe, once the game begins.

Top Site for Betting on Survivor 2025 BetOnline Sportsbook

BetOnline is one of the best sites for betting on Survivor, and right now it’s one of the precious few offering early Survivor betting odds.

This is a great site specifically for Survivor prop bets, so keep an eye out for when they open things up and offer more than just a winner prediction wager. BetOnline is also great for bonuses and promotions, while the site also features a prop bet builder and odds boosters for all kinds of betting markets.

Why is Mitch Guerra Favored to Win?

Every castaway has plus-money odds ahead of Wednesday’s Survivor 48 premiere. However, BetOnline has one contestant listed above the rest of the players this season. Mitch Guerra is the betting favorite to be the next winner of Survivor at +250 odds.

Guerra is a P.E. teacher and appears to be in good shape based on his cast photo. Good hand-eye coordination and a high fitness level could give Guerra an edge in physical challenges. However, Guerra could make himself a target if he stands out too much.

Players must master the social game to win in the modern era of Survivor. According to Guerra, he has battled a stutter his whole life, which could impact his ability to socialize. Also, he does not like complainers or “negative” people, which he will surely have to contend with while on the island.

Top Contenders to Win Survivor 48

  • Stephanie Berger (+500)
  • Kamilla Karthigesu (+700)
  • Saiounia “Sai” Hughley (+800)

Mitch is the favorite, but he must outlast 17 other castaways to win Survivor. Stephanie Berger, a 38-year-old who works in tech, has the second-best Survivor 48 odds at 5-1. Kamilla Karthigesu, a 31-year-old software engineer, is a close third at +700.

Berger and Karthigesu hinted at a social-focused strategy in their Survivor 48 cast bios. Similar strategies have been highly successful recently, but establishing the right social bonds early on is easier said than done.

Four players are tied for the fourth-best odds, and I think Saiounia “Sai” Hughley is the best of the players listed at +800. Based on her bio, Sai combines the social and physical skills needed to make a deep run in Survivor.

My Favorite Survivor 48 Sleeper Pick

  • David Kinne (+1200)

No castaway has been voted off, yet, so there are plenty of sleeper options available in the current Survivor 48 odds. Betting on sleepers early is a popular entertainment betting tip for securing the most value. Of all the possible sleepers, the player I recommend is David Kinne, a 39-year-old stunt performer.

Kinne is one of six players tied at 12-1 odds to win Survivor 48. His skills as a stunt performer will help Kinne stand out in the physical challenges.

Also, meeting and working with new people regularly should have, in theory, helped Kinne develop his social skills. Kinne will be a threat this season if he can combine his physical and social skills.

Opening Survivor 48 Winner Pick

  • Stephanie Berger (+500) – Bet now!

Survivor 48 is here, and 18 castaways are ready to compete for the title of Lone Survivor. Of all the contestants, I believe Stephanie Berger (+500) will be the last person standing. The previous three winners were women, and only two men won in the new era.

Berger has experience building relationships as a teacher and identifies as outgoing. If true, those skills will help her make a strong alliance. She also runs a business, which could help her create a winning strategy this season.
