  • The UFC 300 odds are already out, and they suggest we’ll witness some real thrillers on April 13.
  • Alex Pereira is my favorite UFC 300 pick with betting odds of -135 at the moment.
  • Holly Holm at +365 looks like an ideal bet for the more adventurous MMA bettors.

As you’d expect from the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s 300th pay-per-view event, it’s full of exciting matchups. It’s not just me who says this, but the UFC 300 odds also confirm we’ll see some real thrillers inside the Octagon on April 13, 2024.

The main event is a UFC Light Heavyweight title fight between defending champion Alex Pereira and former champ Jamahal Hill. That’s not the only title fight, though. The co-main event is a battle for the Women’s Strawweight title between Zhang Weili (c) and Yan Xiaonan.

Further, Justin Gaethje and Max Holloway will go to war for the Baddest Mother F***er title, while Charles Oliveira and Arman Tsarukyan will get to decide who gets to fight Islam Makhachev for the UFC Lightweight title in the future.

Itching to bet on UFC 300? Let’s take a look at the current odds and get to my top UFC 300 picks.

Even though we’re weeks away from this event, top UFC betting sites like SportsBetting.ag have already released their UFC 300 betting odds. As you can see in the table above, the prices are very close for almost every fight, with a couple of exceptions.

The biggest favorite on the UFC 300 fight card is Bo Nickal who’s priced at -1900. Next is Kayla Harrison is -465 against Holly Holm. But you never know with Preacher’s Daughter – she holds the record for the biggest betting upset in UFC PPV events for beating -1400 favorite Ronda Rousey in 2015.

For most other UFC 300 fights, it’s pretty much a coin-toss situation. Alex Pereira is only a -155 favorite, Aljamain Sterling is a -128 favorite, and so on.

For all these reasons, betting on UFC 300 is a must if you consider yourself an MMA betting fan. To do that, I recommend going to SportsBetting.ag, especially if you don’t still have an account with his bookmaker. Sign up now and you’ll get a 100% bonus up to $1,000 that you can use for UFC 300.

UFC 300 Main Event Preview

Alex Pereira vs. Jamahal Hill is the main event of UFC 300. I think Dana White & Co. made the right choice here not only because this is the fight for the 205lb title, but also because these fighters are very fun to watch. The evidence is that they’ve got six Performance of the Night bonuses between them.

Pereira and Hill also have a similar set of skills, with both of them focusing on striking. Pereira has a knockout-to-win ratio of 77.77% in the UFC, while Hill’s percentage is just under 60%. What’s also interesting is that neither of them has won a single fight by submission.

Another fun fact is that Pereira’s never fought for full five rounds. The closest he got was four rounds, two minutes, and one second – that’s when he beat Israel Adesanya by TKO in the UFC Middleweight title fight.

It was Stylebender’s first and (so far) only loss by stoppage. Can Pereira do the same to Hill? Well, Sweet Dreams is bigger and stronger than Adesanya, but the Brazilian has experience with such opponents.

In the fight in which he won the UFC Light Heavyweight title, Pereira beat Jiri Prochazka by TKO in the second round. It was Prochazka’s first fight after an injury that forced him to vacate the title.

Do you know who else is fighting for the first time since suffering an injury that forced him to give away his title? No other than Jamahal Hill.

If you want to bet on Pereira beating Hill at UFC 300, you can do it at -155 at SportsBetting.ag. I know I will. But if you disagree with me, you can back Hill at +135 at BetOnline.

Best Bets for UFC 300

Here are three UFC 300 picks that I’m confident are going to win. The best thing about them is that they come with pretty good UFC 300 betting odds.

I’ve already explained why I think Pereira will defend his Light Heavyweight title in the UFC 300 main event. Why do I think Justin Gaethje will defend his BMF title? Because I was impressed with his performance in his last two fights – vs. Rafael Fiziev and Dustin Poirier.

Plus, he’s tougher and more powerful than Max Holloway, who’s spent most of his career fighting in the featherweight division. The only time he fought a lightweight opponent in the UFC, Poirier beat him.

Then, there’s Arman Tsarukyan, who’s fighting grappling expert Charles Oliveira. Do Bronx is one of only a few UFC fighters with a third-degree black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, but Tsarukyan has already defeated one such fighter, Davi Ramos.

Plus, for the Lightweight title eliminator fight, Tsarukyan has been training with Fedor Emelianenko whom many (me included) consider to be the MMA GOAT.

Full UFC 300 Card Predictions

  • Alex Pereira to Beat Jamahal Hill
  • Zhang Weili to Beat Yan Xiaonan
  • Justin Gaethje to Beat Max Holloway
  • Arman Tsarukyan to Beat Charles Oliveira
  • Bo Nickal to Beat Cody Brundage
  • Jiri Prochazka to Beat Alexandar Rakic
  • Aljamain Sterling to Beat Calvin Kattar
  • Holly Holm to Beat Kayla Harrison
  • Bobby Green to Beat Jim Miller
  • Deiveson Figueiredo to beat Cody Garbrandt

Most of my UFC 300 predictions are for favorites winning – Pereira, Gaethje, Tsarukyan, etc. For the two biggest UFC 300 favorites, however, my advice is to stay away from backing them.

There really is no point in betting on Nickal unless you’re prepared to go real big. You need to bet $1900 for a chance to win $100. When it comes to Kayla Harrison, she’s a -465 favorite, but I don’t trust her enough to bet serious money on her, especially not because she’s fighting a former champ at UFC 300.

In fact, I might just do the opposite. I might place a small bet on Holm as her UFC 300 odds are just fantastic. The underdog that I’m planning to back with more money is Jiri Prochazka.

He’s a former champ who lost his title after getting injured. Pereira stopped him from getting it back, but he’s now fighting a guy who had injury problems as well. In fact, this is going to be Rakic’s first fight in almost two years.

UFC 300 Betting Tips & Strategy

To maximize your chance of winning, here are a couple of UFC 300 betting tips you may want to follow.

Back Experienced Fighters

UFC 300 is one of the biggest events in the history of the promotion, with expected millions of PPV buys. Basically, the whole MMA universe will be focused on this event, meaning that there’s a lot of pressure on fighters to show up.

Experienced fighters like Alex Pereira and Justin Gaethje thrive under pressure, so expect them to put on a good show on April 13. The same goes for many other UFC legends who love being in the spotlight – Jiri Prohazka, Deiveson Figueiredo, and even Holly Holm.

Check What’s at Stake

No one’s willing to die in the Octagon to win an early preliminary fight. At the age of 40, Jim Miller probably isn’t willing to go all-in at UFC 300, and the same goes for his three years younger opponent, Bobby Green. So, don’t expect a spectacular knockout in that and similar fights.

But it’s just the opposite when it comes to some main card fights. You can be certain Pereira will throw everything at Hill and so will Weili against Xiaonan. Gaethje will do all in his power to retain his BMF title, while for Tsarukyan, his UFC 300 fight with Oliveira is the biggest bout in his entire career.

Betting on UFC 300

The odds for UFC 300 are out at several online sportsbooks including BetOnline and SportsBetting.ag. That said, there’s nothing stopping you from placing some bets straight away.

If you’re going to do it, my advice is not to miss backing Pereira with UFC 300 odds of -135. He’s my top pick for the entire evening, but I also recommend putting some money on Gaethje and Tsarukyan.

In case you’re feeling lucky, you can also place a small bet on Holm. A $20 bet would bring you a profit of $73 if she ended up staging an upset.
