I must’ve checked two dozen MMA betting sites to find the one that offers the best UFC 306 odds. And it’s BetUS.
Sure, the prices aren’t miles apart when you compare them with those offered by other sites, but why wouldn’t you go with the best?
To prove my point, this sportsbook is giving -110 on Merab and -120 on O’Malley, while many of BetUS’s competitors are giving -110 on each fighter. It’s almost the same case when it comes to the co-main event, Valentina Shevchenko vs. Alexa Grasso.
Offering good UFC 306 betting odds is just one on a long list of reasons why I recommend BetUS. If you’d like to learn more, for example, about this site’s 150% Sports Bonus (up to $2,000) for crypto users, you can read our comprehensive BetUS review.

UFC 306 Main Event Preview
I think Sean O’Malley is the best striker in the UFC Bantamweight division, and I’ve got some facts to prove it.
“Suga” averages 7.63 significant strikes per minute, which is the third-highest number among active male fighters in all of the UFC. And there are currently 874 male fighters on the UFC roster at the moment.
Another proof that he’s a hell of a boxer is that he’s got a knockout-to-win ratio of 66.66%. the defending champ is 18-1-1 overall with 12 wins by KO/TKO, the most recent of which happened in the title fight against Aljamain Sterling 13 months ago.
Since winning the title, he’s fought just once. It happened last March at UFC 299, where we saw him beat Marlon “Chito” Vera by unanimous decision. What’s interesting is that despite landing 230 significant strikes, he didn’t get a finish.
This is something that should worry him ahead of his UFC Sphere fight with Merab Dvalishvili.
It’s because the Georgian who’s 17-4 overall has never suffered a KO/TKO loss. In fact, he got knocked down only once in his UFC career (by Marlon Moraes), but still managed to get up and get a win.
This guy is actually famous for his resilience, as well as for his incredible gas tank. This explains why his nickname is “The Machine.”
While he’s a pretty decent striker with fast hands, his strongest weapon is wrestling, the evidence being that he lands 6.43 takedowns per 15 minutes. In comparison, O’Malley hasn’t landed a single TD in his last 11 fights.
Knowing all this, it’s clear that the outcome of the O’Malley vs. Merab fight will come down to which fighting style will prevail – striking or wrestling. If you think O’Malley will out-strike Merab, probably the best UFC 306 odds for that bet are at BetUS.
If, on the other hand, think Merab will outwrestle him, go to Bovada, where he’s priced at -105. I think that’s exactly what I’ll do. I think it’s time the 135lb division gets a new champ, and it’s going to be Merab.

Top UFC 306 Upset Picks
- Esteban Ribovics to Beat Daniel Zellhuber (+175) – Bet Now
- Ketlen Souza to Beat Yazmin Jauregui (+330) – Bet Now
At the previous UFC Noche event, Daniel Zellhuber won the Performance of the Night bonus after Christos Giagos with an anaconda choke.
Next, he beat Francisco Prado by unanimous decision, earning a Fight of the Night bonus. I think these two fights are why he’s seen as a -215 favorite against Esteban Ribovics.
However, I think the +175 underdog can stage an upset. After all, Ribovics is a guy with concrete fists who’s coming off a first-round KO win over Terrance McKinney.
I also suspect Ketlen Souza could surprise everyone. The former Invicta champion is a well-rounded fighter who can definitely give war to Yazmin Jauregui and possibly get a win. Given that Souza’s UFC 306 odds are +330, I think backing her with at least a small bet would be the right choice.
Best Bets for UFC 306
- Merab Dvalishvili to Beat Sean O’Malley – Bet Now
- Valentina Shevchenko to Beat Alexa Grasso – Bet Now
- Irene Aldana to Beat Norma Dumont – Bet Now
I’ve already explained why I think Merab will beat O’Malley; now it’s time to tell you why Valentina Shevchenko and Irene Aldana are my other two UFC 306 best bets.
First, I think it’s time for Valentina to get her revenge against Alexa. The Mexican fighter took her title away from her with a shocking submission win in the final round.
Shevchenko was a -909 favorite at some betting sites before the fight. The live odds skyrocketed in the 19 minutes, which saw Valentina beat up her opponent and land four TDs while suffering none. But then, at 4:34 in the fourth round, Grasso landed a submission finish.
In the rematch, Grasso won again, this time by a split decision, and Shevchenko was not satisfied with it. She’s got her chance to prove herself to the world by getting her payback on September 14.
The last of my top UFC 306 picks is Irene Aldana, a Mexican fighter who’s 15-7 overall, with practically all of her losses happening against real legends of WMMA.
Her most recent loss happened to Amanda Nunes in the fight for the title. Norma Dumont is nowhere near as good, so I expect Aldana to get the job done quickly.

Also known as Riyadh Season Noche UFC, this event is celebrating the Mexican Independence Day.
It’s the second-ever event of the kind, with the first being UFC Fight Night: Grasso vs. Shevchenko 2. The event in question saw six Mexicans win their fights, with only one Mexico-based fighter losing that evening.
This time around, I think Mexicans will dominate the event, but I do think we will see a couple of them lose, most notably, Alexa Grasso.
Betting on UFC 306

If you’re going to go big on Merab, my advice is to do it at Bovada because this betting site is giving the best UFC 306 odds for this particular bet.
