UFC 314 Odds and Picks

Based on UFC 314 odds, we’re in for plenty of excitement at Kaseya Center in Miami this coming Saturday. The main event of the evening – Volkanovski vs. Lopes – is guaranteed to produce fireworks.
I also predict a real war inside the Octagon in the Chandler vs. Pimblett fight, which is the co-main event of UFC 314.
We might see spectacular finishes in the Mitchell vs. Silva and Rodriguez vs. Pitbull fights, while the main card opener – Krylov vs. Reyes – might win the Fight of the Night bonus.
This is only the beginning as there are plenty of other amazing fights on the preliminary /early preliminary card.
UFC 314 Odds
This is one of the biggest martial arts events of 2025, and as such, it’s covered by most betting sites. While practically all MMA sportsbooks offer UFC 314 odds, it’s BetOnline that gives the best value. At least that’s the case for the bets I’m planning to make.
Fighter A | Odds | Fighter B | Odds |
---|---|---|---|
Alexander Volkanovski | -140 | Diego Lopes | +120 |
Michael Chandler | +145 | Paddy Pimblett | -170 |
Bryce Mitchell | +220 | Jean Silva | -260 |
Yair Rodriguez | -190 | Patricio Pitbull | +165 |
Nikita Krylov | -205 | Dominick Reyes | +175 |
Dan Ige | +145 | Sean Woodson | -170 |
Yan Xiaonan | +120 | Virna Jandiroba | -140 |
Jim Miller | +550 | Chase Hooper | -750 |
Sedriques Dumas | +170 | Michal Oleksiejczuk | -200 |
Darren Elkins | +310 | Julian Erosa | -375 |
Su Mudaerji | -189 | Mitch Raposo | +164 |
Tresean Gore | +270 | Marco Tulio | -320 |
Nora Cornolle | -170 | Hailey Cowan | +145 |
Judging by the UFC 314 betting odds, Chase Hooper is the biggest favorite of all the fighters stepping into the Octagon on April 12. Priced at -750, he’s expected to steamroll Jim Miller, an MMA veteran who started his professional career when Hooper was only six years old.
The Miller vs. Hooper fight is the most lopsided clash at UFC 314, but what’s the fight with the closest odds? It’s the main event – Alexander Volkanovski vs. Diego Silva – in which the two featherweights fight for the title.
The same odds are given in the Yan Xiaonan vs. Virna Jandiroba fight, which I think is a sort of title eliminator. For all the other fights, we have a clear betting favorite, but their odds are still pretty good.
Best Betting Site for UFC 314 BetOnline Sportsbook
BetOnline’s UFC 314 odds are awesome, even for huge favorites. Chase Hooper, for example, who’s the biggest favorite on the fight card, is priced at -750, which is significantly better than what other sportsbooks are offering (e.g., -850 at Bovada).
Apart from offering great UFC 314 odds, this betting site is also amazing for its bonuses. The $250 free bet for new customers is a nice deal, but what I like the most is the UFC Split Decision Championship Refund promotion.
How it works is that if the title bout ends in a split draw and your pick loses, you will get the money back. As I think we might see the Volk vs. Lopes fight end in a split decision, this promo looks ideal for UFC 314.

Alexander Volkanovski vs. Diego Silva UFC 314 Main Event Preview
This is going to be Volkanovski’s 10th straight fight in which he’s fighting for the title. He won seven of those and during his spree, he was thought of as a potential GOAT of the sport.
This was at the time when he was No. 1 in the UFC Pound-for-Pound Rankings, but then a loss to Islam Makhachev happened. The Dagestani fighter beat Volk by unanimous decision in a fight for the UFC Lightweight title.
Had it gone the other way, Volk would’ve been a double champ. And it easily could’ve gone Volk’s way, with many fans and pundits (myself included) thinking he won that fight.
He was given a shot at the title again, but this time around, Makhachev destroyed him with a brutal first-round KO. To make things even worse, Ilia Topuria did the same (albeit in the second round) in the fight for the UFC Featherweight title.
Speaking of Topuria, he’s vacated the title, which is why Volk has a chance to get it back. The only man standing in his way is Diego Lopes, a well-rounded Brazilian fighter with a very bright future, but who’s lacking experience fighting at the top level.
His biggest win happened last September against Brian Ortega, but this time, he’s locking horns against a much tougher opponent.
My prediction is that Volkanovski will win this fight. It won’t be easy, and we might even see the fight go the distance, but I do think he’ll get his crown back.
Best Bets for UFC 314
Dana White didn’t expel Bryce Mitchell from the UFC after he made comments denying the Holocaust and calling Hitler a good guy.
Nor did the UFC boss do anything to stop his ramblings about Elon Musk being the Antichrist and the Earth being flat. But I maybe Jean Silva will put an end to this nonsense on April 12.
My prediction is that he’s going to send Mitchell to the shadow realm in a similar way Josh Emmett did some 16 months ago. As a reminder, he produced one of the greatest KOs in the history of the UFC, which left Mithcell convulsing on the ground.
You just don’t come back from such a devastating KO. Okay, you may argue that Mithcell did come back with a KO win over Kron Gracie, but that really isn’t much of an achievement.
Gracie is a hell of a grappler, but he’s a noob when it comes to striking. After all, he landed just six significant strikes that evening.
Next up is Nikita Krylov, who I think will beat Dominick Reyes. Although I love Reyes, I think he’s just not as good as Krylov. While Reyes is all about striking, his opponent has plenty of lethal weapons in his arsenal.
Plus, Nikita took an almost two-year-long hiatus from fighting, so he’s got a thirst for blood. He did this on purpose so that he could get himself ready for the next stop in his UFC career, which is a title challenge.
Top UFC 314 Upset Picks
Michael Chandler (23-9) made his name in Bellator, but since moving to the UFC in 2021, he’s gone 2-4.
That’s not great, I know, but I also know all four of those losses happened against opponents who are levels above Paddy the Baddy – Charles Oliveira (twice), Dustin Poirier, and Justin Gaethje.
When it comes to his wins, he smoked Dan Hooker in his debut and folded Tony Ferguson with one of the nastiest KOs in years. He’s now looking horns with Paddy Pimblett (22-3), who’s undefeated in the UFC, but who’s only fought against mid-level opponents at best.
I think Chandler can produce an upset on April 12, and so can his former Bellator rival, Patricio Pitbull. Many think of this guy as the Bellator GOAT, who’s got wins over the who’s who of the now-defunct MMA promotion. This includes a TKO win over Chandler.
He was great at Bellator, but is he good enough for the UFC? I think he is, and I think he’ll show it at UFC 314, where he’s fighting Yair Rodriguez, who’s on a two-fight skid.
UFC 314 Predictions
I’m pretty confident my UFC 314 picks will do even better than the ones for the previous PPV event. As a reminder, my UFC 313 predictions did okay – I went 6-for-9 for that event.
The safest bet for UFC 314 seems to be Jean Silva, who I think is a much better fighter than Mithcell. I also think Alexander Volkanovski and Nikita Krylov will win their fights, along with most other favorites.
There are, however, some betting favorites I wouldn’t back with too much money. Virna Jandiroba, for example, is bound to struggle against the former title challenger. I also don’t think Sean Woodson will have an easy job against Dan Ige.
Then, there are two fights in which I’m pretty confident betting underdogs will win. Those ‘dogs are Patricio Pitbull and Michael Chandler.
Betting on UFC 314
My top UFC 314 pick is Jean Silva for many reasons. He’s a knockout master who’s undefeated in the UFC and who’s looking for his fifth straight KO win. Even his UFC 314 odds are pretty decent at -260.
I also recommend betting on the Volkanovski vs. Lopes fight. If you do it at BetOnline, you’ll get the money back if your pick loses by a split decision. In this case, I think your bet should be Volk.
