Speaking of Birmingham, the back-to-back champs have continued their dominance after the merger. They have the largest point differential in the league at +41 and are looking to win their third title in a row.

Houston is just 1-3 on the year, so it’s no surprise that the Stallions are heavily favored to win this game.
The first two games will kickoff at 7:00 pm (ET) on Saturday, but 89% of broadcasts will cover the Stallions vs. Roughnecks.
Despite not having as big of an audience as that game, the Brahmas vs. Renegades should still be a good one. San Antonio is enjoying a 3-1 start this year and is favored to win by 2.5, while the Renegades are the only winless team in the UFL (0-4).
The Battlehawks and Defenders will begin at 12:00 pm (ET) on Sunday, and this is projected to be the highest-scoring game of the week. Michigan vs. Memphis is projected to be the closest game with just a one-point spread, and that one will start at 3:00 pm (ET).

Best Bets for Week 5 of the UFL Season
- San Antonio Brahmas -2.5 (-115)
- Louis Battlehawks ML (-180)
- Michigan Panthers +1 (-115)
I have three Week 5 UFL picks for you to consider tailing. For starters, I will be taking the San Antonio Brahmas’ spread, which is set at a reasonable -2.5. The Brahmas have an impressive 3-1 record, which is tied for second-best in the league.
After winning the XFL title last season, the Renegades have struggled to get going. Their defense has allowed 100 points this year, which ranks dead last. They kept things competitive in Weeks 2 and 3, but lost by a combined 21 points in Weeks 1 and 4.
The Battlehawks are the other team with a 3-1 record, and they’ve been particularly good on the offensive side of the ball. They are averaging 26.5 points per game, while holding their opponents to 20.75.
DC is 2-2 on the year, and they are coming off a close loss to the Birmingham Stallions (18-20). Despite a good performance last week, I am riding with the Battlehawks to win this matchup.
My best Week 5 UFL picks will come to a close with the Michigan Panthers covering their one-point spread. Michigan started off the season with an impressive win over the Battlehawks, and find themselves at 3-1 heading into this week. Their only loss was against Birmingham, which is the best team in the league.
I was surprised to see that the Week 5 UFL odds had the Panthers as one-point underdogs, so I’ll be taking advantage of that.
Top Predictions for UFL Week 5
- Brahmas to defeat the Renegades
- Stallions to defeat the Roughnecks
- Battlehawks to defeat the Defenders
- Panthers to defeat the Showboats
Here are all of my Week 5 UFL predictions. It’s always a good idea to map out how you think the week will go before placing your bets. The spreads and moneyline prices can make things confusing, so taking a step back can help provide some perspective.
As I mentioned earlier, I will be betting on the Brahmas, Battlehawks, and Panthers to win. These three teams have performed well this season and have favorable matchups in Week 5. Even though it’s a small sample size, I think that these teams should be able to handle their business.

The only team I left out of my best bets was the Birmingham Stallions. Did I do this because I think the Stallions will lose this week? Absolutely not.
In fact, I think the opposite is going to happen. Birmingham gets matched up with the Houston Roughnecks, who are not on the same level as the defending back-to-back champions.
The Stallions might not finish this season with a perfect record, but I would be very surprised if one of their losses came against the Roughnecks.
Betting on the 2024 UFL Season
This is shaping up to be an exciting week for the UFL. We should have some intense matchups, as we typically do. I’m expecting nearly every game to come down to the wire, but I still feel confident in my picks.
The Week 5 UFL odds have a lot of value anyway you look at it. Birmingham is the only team that I don’t love the odds for, especially since they have to cover a 7.5-point spread. Instead, I’ll be betting on the Brahmas, Battlehawks, and Panthers.
Whether you are tailing my Week 5 UFL picks or not, be sure to place your bets by visiting BetUS. They are one of the very few sites that have the UFL odds up nice and early, so make sure to take advantage.
If you can’t access BetUS, take a look at our guide to the best football betting sites for other options. And if you decide you don’t want to bet on week 5 UFL games, you can use those sportsbooks for betting on the NFL or even the NFL Draft.
Interested in the latter? Time is running out. Consider using my top props for this year’s draft if you want to gain an edge.
