We’re still waiting for the 2025 Winter X-Games odds to be published, but this won’t stop me from discussing the most exciting events coming to Aspen, CO, on January 23-25.

From Ski Knuckle Huck to Snowboard SuperPipe, I’ll now explain why you should feel excited about this event. You’ll also learn about the biggest stars hitting the slopes this year, as well as which of them you should bet on once betting sites release the odds.

Odds for the 2025 Winter X-Games in Aspen

I expected the 2025 Winter X-Games odds to be released any day now. Last year, Bovada published them almost three weeks before the event. Oddsmakers are running a bit late this time around, but I’m certain they’ll get the odds up in time for you to place your bets.

You should know that, when it comes to winter sports, even the best sports betting sites aren’t always right. To see what I’m talking about, just take a look at the table below, where I compared the odds of last year’s top favorites with those of eventual winners.

As you can see, top favorites won in only 25% of events. The favorite with the shortest odds was Chloe Kim, who was priced at -215 to win Women’s Snowboard SuperPipe.

When it comes to underdogs, three athletes with the longest odds that ended up winning were Troy Podmilsak in Men’s Ski Big Air, Taiga Hasegawa in Men’s Snowboard Big Air, and Kokomo Murase in Women’s Snowboard Big Air.

Bovada Top Betting Site for 2025 X-Games Odds

If you’re looking to bet on X-Games Aspen, Bovada is your top choice. The chances are that this betting site will publish the 2025 Winter X-Games odds before January 23. The thing is that Bovada consistently stands out by posting odds earlier than most competitors, especially when it comes to unique markets such as skiing/snowboarding.

This online bookmaker is also great when it comes to the coverage of more mainstream sports (e.g., hockey), with 1,000 events to choose from every day. It also has an extensive game selection, with its slots catalog being particularly impressive. Other things that make Bovada appealing include quick payout times and responsive customer support.

Top Winter X-Games Stars to Bet on in 2025

This is shaping up to be an exciting event for a multitude of reasons. The main reason, however, has to be the superstar athletes that we know and love.

Some will look to put themselves on the map, while others continue to show us why they are the best. Two athletes I’m confident will be in the spotlight (again) are Scotty James and Chloe Kim.

Scotty James

Scotty James is a 30-year-old Australian with tons of accolades throughout his snowboarding career. He was ranked as the #1 halfpipe rider in the world when he was just 19.

Fast-forward to 2025 and he’s got a cabinet full of medals from the Winter X-Games in Aspen. His latest win was just last year when he won the Men’s Snowboard SuperPipe event.

It’s always a treat to watch Scotty James perform, and he has a good chance of winning another Gold this time around. Once the 2025 X-Games Aspen odds go live, it’s likely that he’s going to be one of the top favorites to win Gold.

Chloe Kim

Chloe Kim is a real superstar in the world of snowboarding. She took over the world when she won the ESPY for Best Female Action Sports Athlete three years in a row.

Kim has seven X-Games Gold Medals in her collection, along with one Silver and one Bronze. Last year, she triumphed in Snowboard SuperPipe, which was her first Gold after a three-year hiatus.

My prediction is that she’s going to win it again and I’m certain oddsmakers share my opinion. This is why her 2025 Winter X-Games odds will probably come with a minus sign. But you shouldn’t worry much about it – Kim is a betting favorite that won’t let you down!

Best Bets for the 2025 X-Games in Aspen

  • Scotty James to Win Men’s Snowboard SuperPipe
  • Chloe Kim to Win Women’s Snowboard SuperPipe
  • Marcus Kleveland to Win Men’s Snowboard Slopestyle

Who will win at the 2025 Winter X-Games? My money is going to be on Scotty James, Chloe Kim, and Marcus Kleveland.

I already mentioned how excited I am to watch Scotty James and Chloe Kim, but we also can’t forget about Marcus Kleveland. The Norwegian athlete is a real legend of winter sports, who’s already won 13 X-Games medals.

Ahead of last year’s event, he was the No. 1 favorite to win Men’s Snowboard Slopestyle. Unfortunately, fans didn’t get to enjoy his escapades as Kleveland decided to skip the event. The reason was a concussion that he suffered six months prior.

However, bad days are past him, and he’s ready to make a huge comeback in 2025. Given that he missed last year’s event, his 2025 Winter X-Games odds will probably be longer than last year, which is great news for bettors.

2025 Winter X-Games Predictions

  • Alex Hall to Win Men’s Ski Knuckle Huck
  • Olivia Asselin to Win Women’s Ski Knuckle Huck
  • Colby Stevenson to Win Men’s Ski Slopestyle
  • Megan Oldham to Win Women’s Ski Slopestyle
  • Alex Ferreira to Win Men’s Ski SuperPipe
  • Zoe Atkin to Win Women’s Ski SuperPipe
  • Marcus Kleveland to Win Men’s Snowboard Knuckle Huck
  • Annika Morgan to Win Women’s Snowboard Knuckle Huck

  • Mia Brookes to Win Women’s Snowboard Slopestyle
  • Scotty James to Win Men’s Snowboard SuperPipe
  • Chloe Kim to Win Women’s Snowboard SuperPipe
  • Mac Forehand to Win Men’s Ski Big Air
  • Tess Ledeux Women’s Ski Big Air
  • Marcus Kleveland to Win Men’s Snowboard Big Air
  • Anna Gasser to Win Women’s Snowboard Big Air
  • Marcus Kleveland to Win Men’s Snowboard Slopestyle

There you have it, my predictions for each event of the 2025 X-Games in Aspen. As I’ve already explained, upsets tend to happen very often in winter sports and athletics betting, which is why backing some underdogs wouldn’t be a crazy idea.

The 2025 Winter X-Games odds aren’t out yet, but I suspect that Bovada will give great value on Alex Hall and Colby Stevenson. I also expect Marcus Kleveland’s odds to be at least +150.

When it comes to betting favorites, my prediction is that Scotty James and Chloe Kim will get very short odds on Snowboard SuperPipe. But that’s because these two are very, very likely to win Gold.

Betting on the Winter X-Games in 2025

The 2025 Winter X-Games is a fantastic tournament not only for fans of skiing and snowboarding but also for any sports bettor looking for great value.

The thing is that the outcome is truly unpredictable. Last year, only four out of 16 favorites ended up winning Gold. If you can accurately predict the winner in the 2025 X-Games, you could turn your insight into a rewarding payout.

The 2025 Winter X-Games odds aren’t out yet, but there’s a silver lining to this – you have more time to figure out which athlete(s) to back.
