My Experience at El Royale Casino

El Royale Casino Slots

I found more than 130 slot machines during my El Royale online casino review. Here are a few of the slot games I enjoyed playing.

Divas of Darkness is listed as one of El Royale’s new games and has high slot volatility. I liked playing it because the graphics really matched well with the theme of the Roaring 20s.

Coyote Cash has a random jackpot feature which is different than the previous game. It is slightly more complicated to navigate than Divas of Darkness, as you need to click on the tiny buttons at the bottom of the screen to access the menu. Divas of Darkness was slightly more intuitive to figure out how to play. But once you get the hang of the different layouts, Coyote Cash is a lot of fun.

The overall casino is well-organized, but I’d love it if they also had a slot theme category. That way, you could choose a slot machine based on themes like animals, money, fairytales, outer space, movies, and more.

While checking out the games, I didn’t experience any lags, errors, or anything else worth reporting. So their slots section gets two thumbs up from me.

Table and Card Games

The organization of the table games on El Royale is a little confusing, especially because the layout changes once you get logged in. Some table games are located in the specialty section, including roulette. That is something to keep in mind while you may be looking for specific games.

There are four games currently listed under El Royale’s Table Games tab. Three of the games are blackjack, and one is poker.

I really enjoyed the graphics for 21 Blackjack. The game layout made me feel that I was at a table in person. This game option doesn’t have any side bets, so it is perfect if you are just looking for a classic blackjack game.

While I enjoyed playing 21 Blackjack, I would like to see more variations of the table games. Many casinos have ten or more blackjack variations and similar options for poker. It is also worth noting that El Royale Casino has no options for craps or baccarat.

Overall, the table games collection at El Royale is okay. The site could definitely use more variety, and the way they organize the games doesn’t make much sense. Of course, these issues are really caused by RealTime Gaming, not El Royale. If you are familiar with RTG casinos, you should know exactly what to expect.

Video Poker

El Royale has 14 video poker titles for you to choose from. A couple of examples of games I really enjoyed playing were Deuces Wild and Jacks or Better.

These games remind me of the video poker machines I played in Las Vegas. The graphics aren’t fancy, and the games are simple – just as they should be.

The stakes you can play for depend on the machine. I found machines that let me wager anywhere from $0.01 to $1 per credit. This means the max you can wager is $5 per hand.

You will notice categories that make it look like El Royale offers multi-hand video poker options, but that is misleading. RealTime Gaming used to have multi-hand video poker options, but they took those away several years ago. RTG needs to update its site format, so those options aren’t visible, but you can’t blame El Royale for this issue.

I love the variety of fourteen different video poker options. Loose Deuces is one of my favorites, and it is only available on sites with RTG software. So, while the lack of multi-hand options is annoying, the exclusive games that RTG offers make me willing to overlook that flaw.

Live Dealer Games

The live dealer casino at El Royale uses software from Visionary iGaming. There are 12 live games in total, including blackjack, roulette and baccarat.

One thing that stood out to me was their live dealer table stakes. You can play these games for much higher limits than their digital table games. For example, you can play live dealer blackjack for as much as $2,500 per hand. And you can play live baccarat and roulette for as much as $1,000 per round.

My biggest complaint is that their video stream was a little grainy. It’s not nearly as clear or bright as the live dealer games from Evolution Gaming. That might be for the best, though, as it could mean you can play these games with a slower internet connection.
