Loki Casino Review for 2024

I have to be honest –

Being a comic book fan, and someone who’s watched Marvel’s movies over and over the past decade, I was really hoping to see Loki himself as the mascot for Loki Casino.

But no dice.

That’s okay. There are plenty of other cool things about this casino.

For one thing, it’s a hybrid casino, which means they accept both bitcoin and fiat currencies, as well as offers games that accept both kinds of currencies, too.

They have a decent selection of offers, and they have tons of excellent games, too.

This is a solid casino, no doubt about it. You can use this link to sign up if that’s all the information you need.

However, I know some people want to know more about them before they commit. For those people, you’ll find a highly detailed review of Loki Casino below.

Promotions

Do they offer a welcome bonus? What are the terms?

The first 3 offers from Loki are considered ‘welcome bonuses.’ Here are the details for each one.

  • First Deposit – Get a 100% match bonus up to $100. On top of that you’ll get 100 free spins – at the rate of 20 per day for 5 days – for the slot machine, Princess of Sky. The playthrough is 50x the bonus. Any winnings from your free spins will need to be rolled over 50x, too.
  • Second Deposit – Get a 75% match bonus up to $100. The playthrough is 50x the bonus.
  • Third Deposit – Get a 50% match bonus up to $100. The playthrough is 50x the bonus.

This is an okay welcome bonus. The amount is real small, so just about anyone should be able to claim it in its entirety. The playthrough is average.

The only complaint I can see some people having is the size of the overall promotion — $300 is pretty small when compared to these multi-thousand dollar bonuses other casinos offer.

Fortunately for those people, Loki Casino offers a High Roller Bonus, too. Loki will match your deposit 50% up to $1,000. They’ll also increase your betting limits to $10 per round/spin while you play.

It’s nice to see them cater to both low and high stakes players.

What additional promotions can you claim?

There are a few additional offers. Here are the details.

  • Happy Birthday Bonus – On your birthday you’ll receive a gift from Loki. They say it can be free spins, money or a combination of both. You’ll have to log-in to find out.
  • 50% Reload Bonus – Receive a 50% match bonus on deposits made on Friday, Saturdays and Sundays. The max you can receive is $50. The playthrough is 50x the bonus. And to be eligible for this offer, you need to make 3 deposits during the week BEFORE you get to the weekend.

Other than their ‘Statuses,’ which I’ll talk about in the next section, that’s all they got for offers. I think it’s a bit of a short list, but since they’re new it’s possible that it’s just the start.

That said, it’s a relief to see smaller offers as opposed to these $1,000, $2,000 and $5,000+ kinds of offers. The slightly meh 50x playthrough is a bit easier to stomach at these smaller amounts, too.

Important!

Other important terms to know include:

  • The max bet you can make for ANY bonus is $5 per round/spin.
  • Bonuses last 14 days unless specified otherwise.
  • All table games, classic slots and video pokers – 5% of the bet. Other games (including specific slot titles) will have different values, too. You’ll want to read their terms and conditions for more info.

Do they have a comps and/or VIP program?

They have a points program. You receive Complimentary Points (CP) whenever you play slots. Every bet increases the number of points you receive. The number of points you accumulate will determine which of the 6 Statuses you’ll receive.

Those statuses are:

  • Beginner – 0-149 CP
  • Bronze – 150-999 CP
  • Silver – 1,000-4,999 CP
  • Golden – 5,000-14,999 CP
  • Platinum – 15,000-29,999 CP
  • Diamond – 30,000 CP

The reason why you want to strive for the highest status possible is that, the higher up you go, the better your points to cash back ratio.

For example:

  • Beginner – 0
  • Bronze – 14:1
  • Silver – 13:1
  • Golden – 12:1
  • Platinum – 11:1
  • Diamond – 10:1

The exact ratio depends on your currency. Everything above applies to EUR / USD. But that should give you an idea of how the program works.

Games

What software providers do they work with? What kinds of games can you play?

That depends.

Loki is one of those casinos who offer games from LOTS of different software companies. However, those software companies (and therefore Loki) are only able to offer their games to players in specific countries.

As such, there’s a good chance that you won’t have access to all their games. I choose to browse their casino from Canada using a VPN – because I’m in the USA – and right off the bat I noticed that Microgaming was omitted from their library, even though it’s someone they work with.

With that in mind, here’s the majority of the software providers I know they work with (per their list in the footer of their website):

  • Amatic Industries
  • Microgaming
  • NetEnt
  • NYX
  • Pragmatic Play
  • Endorphina
  • BetSoft
  • SoftSwiss
  • Thunderkick
  • NextGen Gaming
  • ELK
  • Amaya
  • Quickfire
  • Ezugi
  • Belatra

I’ve mentioned it in several other reviews – about BetSoft, and some of the bad PR they received a year or so ago. I don’t want to rehash it all here – you can learn about it all on their website.

Loki still has pretty good reviews and ratings, at least as far as I can tell right now. And, even if the BetSoft deal bothers you – and no one would blame you if it did – there are plenty of games from other software providers you can play instead.

What’s more is that one of Loki’s filters is by software provider, which makes this a super easy thing to accomplish.

As far as games you can play, your options include slots, table games, live dealer games, and BTC-specific games.

We’ll show a few examples of games you can play in just a second.

What devices is their casino compatible with? Are they mobile compatible?

They have an instant play casino that’s also compatible with mobile devices. Given the software and technology they use (more than likely HTML5), iOS and Android powered devices should be no problem. But I would most definitely try a newer-gen Blackberry or Windows mobile device. It can’t hurt.

What are some examples of games you can play?

Here are some examples of games you can play from their core categories:

Important!
We used a VPN that routed us through Canada while reviewing their casino. Many software providers and their games are prohibited to players in certain countries. So, the games listed below may or may not be available to you. The best way to know for sure is to read their terms and conditions.

Slots

  • Jurassic World
  • Immortal Romance
  • Book of Aztec
  • Jack and The Beanstalk
  • Hot Safari
  • An Escape from Al Catraz
  • Voodoo
  • Aztec Magic
  • Fruit Warp
  • Wild Toro
  • Playboy
  • Game of Thrones
  • All Ways Fruits
  • Dragon Kingdom
  • Mongol Treasures
  • Charms & Clovers
  • Cherry Fiesta
  • Foxin’ Wins
  • Hong Kong Tower
  • Terminator 2
  • Frog Grog
  • Sinful Spins
  • Starburst
  • West Town
  • Tarzan
  • Dead or Alive
  • Piggy Bank
  • Great88
  • Lucky Blue
  • Birds on A Wire
  • Mighty Kong
  • Lucky Sweets
  • Aladdin’s Legacy
  • Thunderstruck II
  • Space Wars
  • Twerk
  • Gorilla Go Wild

There are tons more where these came from too. I didn’t feel like there were any kinds of slots that were missing or I wished I could play. I saw everything from your generic slot themes (animal, fantasy, music, etc.) to licensed slot titles, and everything in between.

They have slot tournaments with real money prize pools, too. You can see them on their tournament page.

Table Games

  • European Roulette
  • Americn Roulette
  • French Roulette
  • Blackjack Surrender
  • Casino Hold’em
  • Double Exposure Blackjack
  • Baccarat
  • Caribbean Poker
  • Let It Ride
  • Trey Poker
  • Hi Lo Switch
  • Pontoon
  • Texas Hold’em
  • Oasis Poker

This is a decent selection. I’m a fan of all 3 main roulette variants – especially French, as that has the best player odds.

I am surprised not to see more blackjack variants.

I’m also surprised that, considering all the software companies they work with, that their list of table games isn’t double this.

But this will make most players happy, I think.

Live Dealer

  • Keno
  • Bet on Numbers
  • Roulette (4 Variants)
  • Blackjack (2 Variants)
  • Russian Roulette

Not much to add here, except that this is a nice addition to the table games mentioned above.

BTC Games

I’m not going to include a list of the bitcoin games here, because many of them are also listed in the slots, table games and other games sections.

However, what I want to point about these games is that – given the title – they should be provably fair games. Here’s a good explanation of what that means from ProvablyFair.org:

“Provably Fair was a new revolution in fair game play accountability introduced with the dawn of Bitcoin. These gambling sites allow the public to see how outcomes are based on the gambler’s input and a secret number that is disclosed and changed for the next rounds every hour for example. This allows online gamblers to verify if the website “played” fair.”

In short – you can use the numbers they give you to double check that their game (and algorithm) delivered a random (thus fair) result. It’s one of the perks to playing with bitcoin and/or on bitcoin games that you don’t get with fiat-based games.

One game I see under this category that I’ve not added anywhere else is Satoshi’s Secrets.

Other

This is where you’ll find everything else. Unfortunately, that includes video poker, as opposed to finding it under its own heading like you would at 99.99% of other online casinos.

Anyway, let’s look at some of the games you can play here.

  • Joker Poker
  • Joker Poker Power Poker
  • Jacks or Better
  • Aces & Eights
  • Aces & Faces
  • All American Video Poker
  • All Aces
  • Deuces Wild
  • Double Bonus Poker
  • Bonus Poker Deluxe

Those are some of the video poker games you can play – and there were several others. I think video poker players will be plenty happy here. I only wish they listed them into their own category.

Some of the other (scratch, keno, bingo) games you can play include:

  • Beerfest
  • Big Break
  • Halloweenies
  • Bunny Boiler
  • Space Evader
  • Mega Money Rush
  • Mayan Bingo
  • Super Zeroes
  • Hairy Fairies
  • Hand to Hand Combat
  • Germinator

There you go. There’s a small taste of the 500+ games Loki Casino offers.

This is an excellent selection of games overall. I’m really happy with their casino – with a few tweaks, it’d feel no different than playing in a brick and mortar casino… only online.

Banking

What payment methods does Loki Casino accept?

Here are the payment options they accept:

  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • Bitcoin / no limits
  • Trustly
  • Skrill
  • Neteller
  • Zimpler
  • QIWI
  • Comepay
  • iDeal
  • Paysafecard

The limits depend on the currency you use. But in almost all cases it was $10-$4,000 for USD, and when not available, in EUR. There are no limits if you use bitcoin.

There are no fees for deposits, either.

What are your cash out options? Are there any limits or fees?

Your cash out options include:

  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • Bitcoin
  • Skrill
  • Neteller
  • Trustly
  • QIWI
  • Comepay

MasterCard is available only in certain countries. You can see that list on their payments page.

Limits range (for USD or EUR) from $20 to $4,000 for nearly every method. The exceptions are:

  • Bitcoin / 0.02-2 BTC
  • Comepay / $20-$200
  • QIWI / $20-$200

These limits are per transaction, though in some cases – especially USD and EUR – the $4,000 transaction limit is ALSO the daily limit. The max you can cash out in USD weekly is $6,000, and then $15,000 monthly. Though, they do say exceptions can be made for VIP members, or for people who win progressive jackpots.

Finally, there are no fees on cash outs.

Customer Support

How do you contact Loki Casino?

You can contact them through:

Envelope
LIVE CHAT

They also have a contact form on their site.

Company

Who owns and operates Loki Casino? How long have they been in business?

They don’t say too much on their website – their company information is pretty vague. I do know they’ve been online since 2016. And while that may seem new to you, they say they have 100+ years of combined experience in the online gambling industry.

As far as company info and licensing is concerned…

Loki Casino is operated by Netincom N.V., a company registered and established under the laws of Curacao and its wholly owned subsidiary, Moonrising Limited.

How’s their reputation? What do others think of them?

They’re not covered by many casino review sites I feel I can wholeheartedly trust. I chalk this up to them still being a pretty new casino.

That said, they have a 3.8/5 rating at LatestCasinoBonuses.com. And they have a 9.67/10 rating and are a Certified casino at AskGamblers.com. They also have only 4 complaints at AG.com, all of which have been resolved.

Based on what data I can find, I’d say they have an above average reputation.

What countries are prohibited from playing here?

You will not be able to bet with teal money if you are a citizen of Spain, the United Kingdom or the United States, or you are in the territory of one of these countries.

Tip!

Be careful of how much weight you put into any casino review, even this one, as information can be incorrect or outdated.

For example, AskGamblers.com says US players are accepted at Loki Casino. But most veterans will know that can’t be true given the software companies they work with. And one look at their terms and conditions confirms that.

Also keep in mind that some software providers/games won’t be available to players in certain countries, either.

Conclusion

What do we think of Loki Casino? Do we recommend them to our readers?

They look like a solid casino to me. They have TONS of games, great game variety and a small, yet nice selection of promotions and other deals for you to claim.

My biggest complaint is probably their bonus rollover. 50x is a bit higher than I’d like, but nothing that should scare you from claiming a bonus if you were gunning for one to begin with. They don’t have a lot of offers, either, nor do they have a full-fledged VIP program.

But they’re new, and this is something they may have on their to-do list for the future.

Who knows. But you can see what they come out with next firsthand by creating an account there. And if you’re in the neighborhood for a new online casino, I think you should.
